I love my 2020 Honda Ruckus and ride it often - making videos of my routes... I maintain OP only and do not want my Honda Ruckus to sound grating or loud. It has not had any major mechanical issues and rides just like the day I got it.

I did not know you could just replace the pump. I bought the entire frame because of the way the wires were sealed and my 94 1500 fuel pump seems to be more complicated. Guess it would be cheaper just replacing the pump. thanks. What is that stupid looking green thing? Is that a filter? There is already a inline filter inside the flip up lid. My 1500 has a tube that you have to push up and connect before you close it up. It is really a tight fit and I had to use needle nose pliers to do it because there is not enough room to fit your hand in there with the tube. Wow. I wonder why they changed things?

Noticing how similar the GL1800 is to the GL1500.

If you take the carb off or the battery out you have to reset the brain....easy to do..

Sir, do you consider your neighbors? How about all those bikes around your garage? That paint will travel far on a breezy day. I could see the paper in your vid flapping. The chance for over-spray seems pretty high in your set up. I'd think hard about unintended consequences. Beware. BTW, impressive results! I am going to try to rattle can my ironhead tracker tank with xr750 decals. Even doing it myself, supplies and paint with decals(not including time) will be a couple hundred bucks.

Just got one 2 weeks ago. Just changed my engine oil, final gear oil, air filter and spark plugs (which led to the plug wire getting changed as someone previously slammed it down on the clip terminal rather rhan removing it and putting the boot over the plugs screw terminal as is recommended) Now it hits 45mph on level ground and got it to 55 downhill and is much more responsive and less wanting to stall in the cold morning air

Bought mine new in 2017, when my knees told me my Goldwing days were over. Now has ~8800 miles on it, and I still enjoy riding it….I now know all the backroads in tap counties that I frequent. I have come to understand I bought more fun than my Goldwing ever gave me. Fast, smooth and fancy design gave way to ease of handling, fun to ride, and full throttle riding! BTW, I am now 75 years old!
