Close where the 21 U should have better everyday battery life, zoom and screen/speakers for media consumption; the 23 is better in portability, updates, gaming battery life, performance, produce less heat. Maybe you would prefer the flat screen as well since it would work better with screen protectors.
Noticed more screen flicker on the S23 while the S21 was butter smooth. My S21 ultra started getting moisture in the camera lens the other day and my insurance did not have a replacement. They cut me a check for 1200$ and I found a nice Renewed S21 Ultra 512gb that is a upgrade over my 256gb and I got 650$ in my pocket still. I almost "upgraded" to the s23 ultra until I realized my S21 was better in the ways that mattered most.

S23 Plus is a better option if you find it at a good price, because for the price normally you can go for an s23 ultra, but i think it is a better option, because you have an s23 but bigger and with a better battery. Of course, s23 has a better camera, but it is not a really big difference if you are not going to use it as a professional.

@@ElGabos. I think the flicker is because the 23 is better at reducing its refresh rate to 24Hz quickly while the 21 U remains at 60Hz.
