    Hey Steve I just wanted to let you know that because of your vid I’ve installed 5 upgrades to my bike, anything from Ciro to SOB. When you started your channel you wanted to help other bikers like myself to save money, and enjoy the satisfaction of DIY. For the few (hater) that post, you have way more people like my self who appreciate your help with our build. Not only do we install we learn so much more about our bikes then just sending it to HD service or other service centers. I thank you my friend and again appreciate you. Others I watch are helpful but to me, your different and because of that I trust and believe in your content. Keep going bro

    Hey Steve, I guess this comment is for everyone looking thru the video. So we recently spoke about the electric center stand and I finally got it installed (SOB ELECTRIC CENTER STAND). Just something to keep in mind is that the bottom plate under the bike needs to be as FLAT as possible so that the plate that goes on top of the bottom plate sits flat and you’re able to put the screws straight thru the bottom plate and have em catch the smaller plate to sandwich the bikes plate. If that bottom plate is not straight you’re going to have to carefully pry to flatten that frame plate and believe me it’s a pain in the butt. But it’s doable and the stand is installed. I also installed the those cobra headers and I ended up doing what you suggested and hammered a part of it to dent it in a get some more clearance for the legs. Overall thank you for all of your videos .

    I have a 19 RGS. Is there enough clearance between the tire and fender that it does not rub when all the air is let out of the shocks with the 1 inch lowering brackets? Thanks

    • @sikbaggers
      @sikbaggers  2 года назад +1

      to answer your question in the short..nope. lol you will run the fender. Nature of the beast...give , take some kind of situation. If you ever blow a line then you will be on the tire..that being said..I have nevr blew a line or even heard of anyone blowing a line for that matter...take your time on the plumbing install and you'll be fine...go over your bike routinely as you should, and check the lines, wires etc...preventative maintenance will get you a long way.

      @@sikbaggers Appreciate the response and info. I like the idea of saving $ by not having to replace the whole back end and exhaust just to get the stand. Just need to decide if it's worth taking the chance of the the back tire possibly locking up on the hwy. Even if the odds are minimal.

      @@sikbaggers I agree most guys (and a select few I am sure gals) would agree that if we have been following you for sometime that we are perfectly capable of dealing with an issue and if we are not we take the next step (what does that look like) well check for another video from yourself or another youtuber, or go to the source. The greatest thing about your channel Steven is the fact that you are more than willing to accept a PM, an email, a text, hell even a phone call. With that being said you have gone above and beyond the norm when it comes to helping others out in a manner that has surpassed anything in customer service that I have had dealt with. Not only are you a brother in arms, brother in the biker community, you are considered a friend to many regardless of where they may live due to the nature of self confidence and willingness to put yourself out there for others to learn something from. So to all the haters let them hate, to all the naysayers let them naysay, to all the ill willed douches bags I say if you dont like the content on Steve's Page do NOT let the door hit you in the ass on the way out and you can just stay out.
