Hi Laura! Thank you so much for this session! It comes at the perfect time for me. I need to add a set of Teams meetings to SharePoint that were created (with registration) by a corp events admin. 1. The SharePoint is a communication site accessible to everyone in the org. I'm trying to figure out whether I 1. create a new list with a calendar view and plug the registration links into the list, or 2. Whether I can plug the actual Teams calendar of events directly into SharePoint (even if I personally did not create them.) or 3. Whether I add the registration links to a SharePoint events part. I would have asked in the live chat but unfortunately I just filled out the form today. Thank you so much in advance!
Thank you Laura!!. This is a very good overview. i think for companies using Zoom this gets really sticky as the automagical Teams meeting button on the event throws mass confusion into it.
@@WonderLaura you’d be shocked at the number of companies that do. User experience is the named reason for it. Usually they adopted zoom early on and just prefer it.
In SharePoint Lists can you show multiple dates that are not connects. I want to show one calendar with 6 key dates rather than 6 views with 1 date per calendar
*not connected sorry. Like start and end date are connected. Ideally I would like 3m review and 6 month review (two columns) to show in a single calendar view.
Are you referring to when creating an event in your Outlook calendar? Microsoft has recently updated that so that it doesn’t create a Teams link by default anymore.
I like your comparison table. It would be useful to add a row about permissions, if users can manage them on their own or only IT can do it

I don’t know, I recommend trying both and testing them.

Glad you liked it. Why would a company use Zoom if they already have Microsoft 365?

Sorry I'm not sure what you mean by "not connects"?

This helped me. Thanks for posting the video.
Glad it helped
Is there a way to disable the event in 365 from creating the teams meeting link?

Can you add a 365 group cal to a Communications SharePoint site?
No
Thank you. ❤
