I went on a bus tour of Oxford once and the tour guide said that all the meetings in the university start at 5 past the hour, to allow everyone to get to the meeting anywhere on the campus. I thought this was a good idea to deal with back to back meetings and having to get between meetings, but went with your thoughts and started ending my meetings (manually) 5 or 10 minutes early. Didn’t realise it was built into Outlook now!! Cheers
Love your videos. Our challenge where I work is that if I set my meetings to automatically end a bit early to allow for getting from one place to another or a little bio break, someone inevitably will see that sliver of time and try to book a 10 or 15 minute meeting in there. I would love it if MS would still somehow hold that time as protected... Keep up the awesome work on the videos - they're super helpful and I always learn new things from you!
I love your videos. I’d love a series on Microsoft Office on Mac. Outlook doesn’t have all the same features but it would be good to know what it does have.
I love these videos apart from being really helpful I love the humour, so far this week I have categorised my emails, calendar and set up my booking page and started growing a beard.....let me show you how 😊
Hi!😊 Thank you for your valuable contribution!. I’m learning a lot with your tutorials. Please, any idea why I can’t create Categories? I open that window but when I try to type in a name and change the color the Save button remains grey, it doesn’t let me save the category. Thank you and best vibe! 🎉🎉
I love your videos. Scheduling Poll will change my life! I’m curious if it will work with people outside of my company who don’t use Outlook? I’d love a series on Microsoft Office on Mac. Outlook doesn’t have all the same features but it would be good to know what it does have.
Jonathan, many thanks for your videos. I have a challenge and wonder if you have a solution? I am an independent contractor and work for multiple clients at any point in time. Each client typically gives me a M365 account on their tenant with an accompanying email. My challenge is trying to consolidate all meetings into one calendar. I have tried to auto-forward all meeting invites from these various client tenants to my business calendar, but that does not always work for some reason. Is there any other way of consolidating all meetings in one M365 calendar? Many thanks - Riaan
Thank you Jonathan, for these details. Have you noticed or faced an issue with the Microsoft Teams Add-in not showing up anymore in New Outlook? If you have an idea for fixing it, please let me know.
Hi Jonathan, on the work hours and location settings there’s a checkbox for “Share your location” (“Share your office location details…)” and from what I understand it should be able to hook into a list of specific locations for my company defined in Entra ID to expand on the two standard options of Office or Remote. Microsoft have articles demonstrating this feature - to a point - but frustratingly, it seems it is still not actually available (yet). It would be so useful if I can get it working for my company. Do you have any insights?
I've been using the Microsoft calendar for years for my google calendar because I like that it pops up on the desktop when I have an appointment at a specific time. It's now making me use the new outlook for this. Is there a way to have the desktop notifications without having to keep the application open? I can't figure that out. I use the old Outlook for my business email/calendar but those calendar reminder are more so day specific and not time specific. Any help would be great!
How do I publish my calendar to give external outlook users can see my calendar. Also how can I set up, when an external users team meeting starts, an alert the meeting has started so I don't miss it

If you use bookings you can add a buffer and no one can book you
