What he meant was a washout helps India as we qualify for final.
Totally agree with Jarrod at 5:10, it is terrifying when things are going so well for us.
In the last T20 world cup too, India finished the group stages as table-toppers and England had finished second in their group. England openers were in hot form. I just have a feel that history might repeat itself, and we'll fail again in the ICC knockouts 😔

@@stevez2309 It seemed like both Afganistan and India outplayed the Aussies. Its just that India game had more at stakes for the Aussies. Even India took 7 wickets while the Aussies only managed 5.

Might play the semifinal in Guyana is a massive advantage , but saying they have been preparing for it all along or that’s why they brought so many spinners is not fair. Barring NY and Dallas all other pitches are spin friendly and almost all teams indexed heavily on spin or slower ball bowlers.

My personal pride this WC though, has been Naveen Ul Haq. Always thought the guy had some special kind of fight in him, bit was always looked at as just fodder for opposition batsman. Love to see him doing well

Surely the ICC knew what they were doing with the venues.
1) They made NZ play WI and Afg in unfavorable conditions. So both would qualify
2) They preseeded the super 8 so Afg and Australia play in same group
3) The match ups are favourable for Afghanistan. Naveen vs Marsh and Head and Omarzai vs Warner
4) They deliberately made Arnos Vale a venue instead of Jamaica to help them in both games
When Australia loses they start crying and complaining
*Jamaica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Dominica did not want to host matches, and hence did not submit any bids.
*New Zealand played poorly against both Afg ang WI.
*Afghanistan played out of their skins to qualify for the semis. Give them some credit. The teams they beat were much more experienced than they are.
