Mick Gordon, the Australian musical badass. Crazy to think he stayed awake for 4 days straight figuring out the sound for one song. Not sure which song tho.
36:16 Shadow Jago (also known as Shago) was only able to be added as a playable character at the time due to the community's support. He was originally a secret boss in a ladder style mode.
Hisako is like a combination mesh up of the various Japanese Onryo horror ghost stories. The way she crawl on the ground like Kayako from The Grudge , the way she climb out of the ground like Sadako climbing out of the well from The Ring. The way her mouth opens so wide is an inspiration probably taken from the Kuchisake Onna too. The way she walk like a shambling corpse is also what ghosts from Japanese horror do. Furthermore, her gameplay and fighting style fits her to a T, as she can be considered a Counter character. She uses Stances where when the opponent hits her, she will counter back. When she is not attacking, she has a Rage meter that fills up and when it is full, all her attacks are considered Counters. Her Rage meter depletes when she attacks. It MAKES the opponents fear or dread her, befitting her character as she is a vengeful ghost. The character design was just simply too perfect.
TJ Combo is on the side of the angel. He's theme literally says he's on his "redemption road", that it feels good without the implants in him because he found his real strength and wants to truly prove himself. He's actually my favorite fighter in this reboot.

Fun Fact about the Sadira Trailer. When Maxamillian Dood was Making the Trailer and experimenting with the Camara, he Placed the games Camera in the Center of the Stage just to get a Good Shot of the Giant Spider behind Sadira. But when he did that her Head turned to Face the Camara because her Model rig couldn't tell which way was Forward or Backwards facing. So that Final Shot in the Trailer was a Tracking Glitch the team kept in the trailer just cause they Thought it looked cool 😂 Also also, She was originally ment to have a Vale but they removed it because they thought she looked too much like a Mortal kombat character.
Fun fact: Eyedol had a parody ending where he reunited with his mom and it was a jab at SF2's Blanka ending where basically the same thing happened. Also nice to see more KI one year later.
just so y’all know: General RAAM is a collaboration with Gears of War (his trailer is the only one that informs on this for some reason). Arbiter is a collaboration with the Halo Series. Arbiter is a playable character alongside Master Chief in Halo 2 and Halo 3. Rash is a collaboration with the retro Nintendo game Battletoads. It’s fun to see what crazy weapon Rash transforms into when attacking, like how he turns into a wrecking ball, or turns his foot into a giant spiked boot!
The concept is brilliant too...giving her a fighting style that revolves around countering any physical move and even letting her cancel any whiffed attack into her counter stance, all to LITERALLY make the opponent afraid of attacking her. It's genius.
Btw her character is based on and is a tribute to the Japanese folklore legend of the Onryō and this concept was popularized worldwide in the late 1990s and early 2000s due to the international success of the Japanese horror films Ringu (1998) and Ju-on (2002)

Now THIS brings back memories. Not to give away my age or anything, but I remember WAY back in the days where this was at the arcade & my ex- fiancee spent a ton of quarters & A LOT. He had a mean "Spinal" & "Glacius", not gonna lie; but my "Maya" & "Orchid " always left the boys wondering...."How can a girl be this damn good @ K.I.?"
Since I'm a huge fan of Sabrewulf since 1994, I would have liked to see at least a trailer or a more glamorous presentation, just adding the scene where he's undergoing his auto shock therapy. But since that's not the case, I came just to see the reactions with Hisako and it was better than I thought, for a moment I thought you guys wouldn't be scared. However, the whole video was fun to watch

I only ever played the first Killer Instinct on the SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System). Never followed it after that, but another fighting game content creator I watch called “Maximillian Dood” absolutely LOVES this series. So seeing all the KI stuff just makes think about how happy he must be with these as they were released. It’s a shame where KI stands with the FGC nowadays, but it’s still fun to watch some matches here and there. ❤️🔥 Weekly Tekken Lore suggestion: m.ruclips.net/video/bA49WgGOKp4/видео.html
Super late to this video, but yeah, Maya is my favorite in this KI game (which is technically the third game in the series, the first two being made when Nintendo owned Rare). The original KI, I mostly played Orchid and Sabrewulf (Spinal was always too hard for me). KI2 (Or KI: Gold on the N64), I played Jago the most, but I also got the highest combo with Tusk. Maya in this one is just a ton of fun with her daggers... and yeah, she's a bit of a smokeshow (no offense to her leg that was burned by Cinder, lol).
Kiler instinc was originaly from teh arcades long ago, passed to the super nintendo and nintendo 64, was bought by microsoft and was dormant till the xbox1 with this. The characters originally were based on popular trope, movies or games of back then, even the designs were proof of that, Jago was like a mix of Sub Zero and Ryu, Riptor is based on jurasik park, Fulgore is based on predator and terminator, Glacius is based on alien, Spinal was based on Jason and the argonauts, Tusk is based on Arnold's Conan the barbarian. Now they use more modern movies and actors to be based on, Spinal now has a pirates of the caribean touch, Tusk is designed off Chris Hemsworth's Thor, Kan-ra is based on the mommy and Hisako is obviously based on the ghosts from the ring and the like.
i liked Tusk the most because of the whole viking vibe but there was no Glacius trailer whom i played the most in KI and i think you missed some more characters from this game like Killgore (a diffrent robot) and fun fact in the old Killer Instinct Orchid got a "Finisher" were she flashed her boobs to the enemy and they fainted xD
I've played and know a lot about the lore of fighting games such as Mortal kombat, Tekken, street fighter, Soul caliber, and so on but for some strange reason I've never got into the Killer instinct franchise i don't know why or what it is about killer instinct that I'd just wasn't into it for some reason. So this could be a way for me to see what I've been missing when it comes to this franchise/ series.
The way some people compile trailers like this utterly baffle me. All they have to do is organize them chronologically, instead it's a random mishmash, starting with the very last character, then the first characters a 1/3 of the way in... And this is like the third KI video they reacted to, where Shadow Jago was put before Jago. Imagine a comp for all MCU film trailers that started with Endgame, then Thor 2, then Iron Man.
Believe it or not, TJ is actually a good guy. He did make mistakes in the past and still does enjoy the fame, but he did team up with Orchid and Jago to help fight UltraTech and save the world. Also, the best line in KI? "Humanity will be dragged kicking and screaming into the future."
I don't know but I'm guessing that Gargos is the main villain/ antagonist of the Killer instinct series ? I'm assuming this from what he was saying. I've never played killer instinct so i don't know anything about this game or the lore behind it.
Eyedol was the OG final boss. I don't remember who was the final boss in Killer Instinct 2, but this is essentially Killer Instinct 3 and the antagonist of this one is Aria and her company Ultratech.
Quick character summaries. Eagle: Brother of Thunder. Was captured and used to create the Fulgore model for Ultratech. Eyedol: Boss monster turned playable. Served Gargos until he was discarded. Now on a rampage. Gargos: Boss monster made playable. THE big bad in KI. Fulgore mk2: The pride and joy of Ultratech and OG Mascot of KI. A killing machine forged to help conquer the world or protect it from Gargos. General Raam: Guest character for Gears of War. Glacius: OG character. Alien visitor stranded on a world that's not his but he will protect from groups like Ultratech. Spinal: OG character. Undead Chaos. Doing his own thing. Thunder: Brother of Eagle and OG character who search for his brother in earlier games was Relentless. Kan-Ra: Ruthless Egyptian sorcerer/mummy. Making his debut, his methods and centuries of atrocities have earned him powerful enemies. Maya: OG character but was reworked for this new KI game. Now not just a big breasted Amazon. But a Mayan Amazon warrior apart of a tribe of Monster hunters until an ambush cost her her tribe and sister. Riptor: OG character. Best Girl, Clever Girl. Cyber warfare Pack hunter. Yours for just 999 million and an ironclad waiver. Omen: Herald of Gargos and reason Jago went through his emo phase as Shadow Jago. Possessing one of the purest warriors to use as a weapon and pave the way for Gargos. Until Jago forced him out with the aid of his sister Orchid. Then the real fight began... Kim Wu. OG character with updated lore. Chosen by her family's Dragon Spirit to save the world. If Mikey is King Chuck, she's the Queen of nunchuck. Side note that truck crashing through her stage at the end seems to be an omage to "Big Trouble in Little China. Arbiter: Halo's crossover character. Tusk: OG character with updated lore. An immortal guardian standing vigilant against any and all evils that would try to emerge. Mira: Debuting new character and Maya's lost sister. During a mission to exterminate an ever growing vampire threat, things.... would go very wrong. "Rescued" by the vampires and turned she's now the vampire king's right hand and deadliest warrior. She may still be in there but right now she will help her king realize his goals even if she has to help the devil himself, Gargos! They also PGed her trailer as all the liquid effects you see is actually blood. TJ Combo. You know plenty about from your DB reaction and my comment there. OG character with a shady past but a good heart. Rash: Battle Toad crossover character. Aganos: Debuting Newcomer. A golem set loose by a fallen king of a ancient empire, with one mission. To annihilate Kan-Ra, the evil sorcerer who brought down the empire. Hisako: Debuting Newcomer and most terrifying. As she explained her village was destroyed long ago only to be plundered by (you guessed it) Ultratech. Now a wondering Ōnryo who will stop at nothing to find what was stolen, matter how many unfortunate souls she has to cleave to get them. Cinder: OG character with updated lore and personality. A perpetual mid boss given a new life and witty personality. I believe he used to be more mystical but now he's a loyal employee of Ultratech who volunteered to be experimented on. Aria: Debuting Newcomer, Queen B of Ultratech, and season 1 Boss fight. As she said she has a legitimate reason for her actions but her methods are too harsh in many heroes' eyes. Shadow Jago: Basically Evil Ryu, except instead of being possessed by Dark Hadou Jago is possessed by Omen. Jago: OG character and KI's Ryu. Brother of Orchid and the game's chosen one. Sabrewulf: OG character and my personal favorite besides Fulgore. A Baron who tried to cure his family's curse and just ended up making it much much worse. Sadira: Debuting Newcomer. Leader of a very creepy and effective group of assassins who have worked for every big bad in this game. Orchid: OG character and Jago's sister. Another flagship character along with Sabrewulf, Fulgore, and her brother Jago. She's night and day different from her original model, who was so 90s level bombastic that her fatality was to flash you..... Guys would die of heart attack or blood flow problems and girls would die of shame or envy..... Yeah. Only trailer you're missing is Kilgore, Fulgore's early prototype with miniguns instead of hands.
Hey I have a question. They may be old by this point (we'll 3 to 4 years old) but I was wondering if you'd react to the ghost recon breakpoint trailers. They're fairly short and it would interesting to see you guys reaction to em
This series seems like fun, but it's sometimes hard to tell when you guys claim a character, adding a ticket counter would be great. Aso for the green tickets I would say while it is a good idea to be able to steal a character I think it would work better if you had to lose a regular ticket or even just the very next character to stop said steal. that way there's some risk in just how bad you want them only to potentally regret it when the next badass is shown. OR you can scrap the whole countering idea and simply do a draft trade at the end of these video's, I stole your guy and now you have to bargain for em.
Eyedol is the former Boss of the game, fallen from grace. Gargas at max difficulty is actually one of the toughest fighting game bosses EVER, up there with Gouki (7 star) from tekken 7. Spinal is amazeballs, simple as. Thunder and Eagle are bothers. Riptor is a she, btw. Rash is a Battletoad. Totally a thing. Also if you're wondering why the music hits so hard, it's Mick Gordon. Ken has a distinct edge in spank potential.
Ahhh, Tusk my boi, the chad! also Rash from Battletoads, one of my favorites, he's so much fun to play! Hisako is my main, her combos are so cool, but for some reason none of my friends like when i pick her against them, i don't know why XD
love this video. KI (2013) is easily in my top 3 fighting games. Almost bought an xbox for it but luckily they added the ability to play xbox games on Windows 10 when that released 2 years later.
Fun fact: The guy who composed the music in this Killer Instinct is the same guy who did the music for Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal.

Missing 4 characters shin hisako, killgore, orchid and saberwolf.
After the first reaction we have more shortly after. Believe Kilgore still was missing maybe 🤔 but we got Orchid and Sabrewulf for sure 🤗
I've been waiting for this moment! *maniacal laughter*
Nice choice with Spinal. He was my main in the original game.
Oh another cool fact, the singer for Orchid's theme is the same vocalist for Devil trigger (DMC Nero's theme)
Really? Ali Edwards sang that? Nice.
Can't wait for the another sequel to this game.
😎🤟
I find it really funny how if you took Bethany's character list in most of these drafts and asked somebody to guess what kind of person made this character list they would probably say a simp
I highly recommend you guys checking out Spinal’s and TJ Combo’s music themes, especially I’m Back to Rise, (this is a killer music track)

Let's gooooo!
15:50 My favorite trailer 🦖🔥😂
YEEEEES, this just cheered me up from my awful day!! I LOVE FIGHT NIGHT FRIDAY and this is one of my all-time favorite fighters!
No Kilgore? ;w;
She’s Black Orchid and she’s amazing
Hey! My boy Max's game! Glad to see it.
This is why I wanted a Fulgore cameo sooo bad in MK11. Or at least some KI character.
You should view The Killer Instinct Wiki for in-depth information on the characters and franchise.
Hisako was my main when i played this game hardcore
The soundtrack and characters are awesome, but I have no clue what I’m doing when playing it
I hope we get a Killer Instinct movie and/or series.
To point out, Orchid is A Rebellion Spy who wants to destroy Ultratech (the orginization where Aria, Fulgore, Riptor, and Cinder came from)
Orchid is my main
yall should check out the Original Killer Instinct game for the character bios
i liked Tusk the most because of the whole viking vibe but there was no Glacius trailer whom i played the most in KI and i think you missed some more characters from this game like Killgore (a diffrent robot)
and fun fact in the old Killer Instinct Orchid got a "Finisher" were she flashed her boobs to the enemy and they fainted xD
If we find some good killer instinct lore videos we for sure will be reacting to them and maybe you’ll get hooked on this franchise then 😜
Fun fact Riptor is female :3 even has a cheerleader outfit in the game
The way some people compile trailers like this utterly baffle me. All they have to do is organize them chronologically, instead it's a random mishmash, starting with the very last character, then the first characters a 1/3 of the way in... And this is like the third KI video they reacted to, where Shadow Jago was put before Jago.
Imagine a comp for all MCU film trailers that started with Endgame, then Thor 2, then Iron Man.
I miss the hype these trailers gave
Believe it or not, TJ is actually a good guy. He did make mistakes in the past and still does enjoy the fame, but he did team up with Orchid and Jago to help fight UltraTech and save the world.
Also, the best line in KI? "Humanity will be dragged kicking and screaming into the future."
Best character in the game is Tusk. All of his moves hit from a mile away and do huge damage.
Wonder what was up with the sound
on aria?
Guess copyright issues with someone's video.
Dang it Microsoft.
@@THENAMEISQUICKMAN Gargos was the final boss in KI2.
Gargos and Eyedol were the OG antagonists.
There's also Shin Hisako who wields a katana.
One of my favourite artists known as Celldweller made s3 spundtrack.
Yous should defently react to Why doesn't Luigi's voice sound like it used to? by Thomas Game Docs
Riptor for life! She's been my main ever since I started playing Killer instinct.
I've been waiting for this.
I loved Rash from Battletoads.
OR
you can scrap the whole countering idea and simply do a draft trade at the end of these video's, I stole your guy and now you have to bargain for em.
General ram made this game nice.
Low volume at Aria part.
Ahhh, Tusk my boi, the chad! also Rash from Battletoads, one of my favorites, he's so much fun to play! Hisako is my main, her combos are so cool, but for some reason none of my friends like when i pick her against them, i don't know why XD
If you want to know more about the series I recommend watching Top Hat Gaming's videos over the series. I'd begin with the first on the Arcade/Snes.
love this video. KI (2013) is easily in my top 3 fighting games. Almost bought an xbox for it but luckily they added the ability to play xbox games on Windows 10 when that released 2 years later.
Saberwulf and spinal👌
Can you react to mario strikers charged all megastrikes?
Mah boy Spinal getting dat trump!
