@DUNGSTA I had that issue on the 512gb model. Almost reset the phone. But then I found out that I had downloaded too many apps. I wanted to buy a Pixel 8 Pro (because I have the 7Pro) but Google disappointed this year so I waited. I said I'm not gonna buy a Samsung ever again after the S22u but after Samsung switched back to snapdragon I got tempted again, so I Preordered a S24 Ultra 512gb in Titanium Purple, it'll arrive on the 25th January 😊
Awesome video, great detail, you have an engaging and enthusiastic presentation style and persona. I ordered titanium violet, 1TB, during the unpacked event to replace my Z Flip 5. I really wanted to love the foldable but it isn't quite optimal for me. Looking forward to the S24 Ultra when it arrives on 27th Jan. Btw, I watched your S23 Ultra video a while back as a basis tor how good the Ultra phones are and ahead of my S24 purchase. Very good, helpful, and informative. Subscribed.
Pre-ordered it and it's scheduled to be delivered on the day of sale. Got it for £1099 for the 512GB variant with discounts plus I traded in my 12 Pro Max so it's £831 for me.
got lucky with a student discount and s23 ultra trade in, ended up paying just under £400 for the 512gb, ny the time i sell the free watch should be under £300
Nice! I ordered a titanium Blue 1TB Ultra, traded my older S22, applied a student discount, and got the S24 Ultra for 800 bucks plus 4 access because of the 150 dollar credit.
I also got a cracking deal, did the same 512gb version for the price of the 256 variant, with 15% nhs discount plus traded in my s22 ultra which knocked off £370, then added a code to get the galaxy smartwatch 6 for free. Total to pay £691.65. I will also then sell the watch new for around £200 mark hopefully. That's a crazy deal Imo
It's generally not a big enough update for me to want to to switch from my s22 Ultra, but that totally flat screen is tempting. As a heavy SPen user, it would be nice to have the screen be flat and easy to write on right up to the edge.
Mate I totally hate my S22 ultra. Can't wait for my s24 ultra to arrive. Had the s22 ultra on pre-release by accident (seller shipped before it was allowed), so have had mine for well over 2 years. The s22 ultra battery is horrible compared to the s23 and s24 and have had so many issues early on with apps and games on the s22. Also, he didn't mention it I believe, but there is AI auto translate for calls in voice.
Great first and funny review. The S24 Ultra changes under the hood are good, but not enough to make me move from from my S23 Ultra. I The cameras are the biggest upgrades for me, especially if I did video and wanted to zoom without stopping to change cameras. Flat screen preferrable too. I wonder how the S24/S24+ with Exynos will fare?
Ordered the 512gb today. Got it for £879 after trade in plus a free Galaxy Watch 6. Will sell the watch as i have the 5 pro. All in all not a bad deal for the latest and greatest 👍🏼
They do as I've got the same deal. In fact I got another £50 off as I'd registered interest prior to launch so mine totalled £825 after S22 plus trade in. I'll keep the watch and sell my 5 pro! Says its coming next Wednesday! 👌
Just get the pixel 8 pro. Samsung plans to start charging people for the AI features. The AI features are free with the pixel 8 pro and it's cheaper, has a better camera, the Tensor chip is better for the AI functions, and has better battery life. The pixel 8 pro is the smartest smart phone you can get.
@@CinderRaeWhat’s the battery life like on the Pixel 8 pro? So many reviews on sites say the battery drains badly.. this is the only thing stopping me from getting the pixel 8 pro.. please and thank you 😊

@lovethecoffeeberry1882 Brilliant. I got the case that let's you see the display but I'm hoping actually stays shut and not flap open. If not I'll either go for my usual Spigen tough armour case or one with magsafe built into the case.
I literally have a headache from the AI things. It's unreal how most of the marketing is related to AI things which aren't so useful at all, it's all literally a software feature that can exist on older Samsung phones too. Can we get headphone jacks/sd cards/removable batteries or maybe a battery that can actually last multiple days of normal usage and maybe a charger/earphones in the box? It's almost like these tech executives/CEOs/managers are disconnected from reality, the things that really matter and that the people actually want.
Great video, ironically your dry humour is refreshing! Ordered mine, would've gone for a OnePlus fold but those are a little too pricey still. Not so impressed by most of the 'AI' hype when Pixels do better photo editing already. A lot of other apps already do the same things that were presented. The search by image feature exists in Google Lens and inbuilt to Google Photos it's a very simple app utilising Google Lens, that isn't AI at all but a basic app utilizing an API to look up Google Lens. I feel like the Pixel will soon have polished versions of the same software gimmicks that were advertised. I guess I understand that they needed a fresh angle to present though as the phone is not noticeably different to previous generations.
After tuning in and watching this I've got to be honest I really don't see anything new or better about the S24 Ultra that makes it stand out from it's predecessors apart from the better camera and processor I imagine. Watched this on My S21 Ultra and it's still going even nearly 3 years later after getting it. Rather than spend a ridiculous amount of money on Samsung's latest flagship decided to go for a combination of the Google Pixel 7a because of it's absolutely fantastic Camera capabilites and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Plus (16GB Ram Chinese Version) as it was fantastic value considering it's specs. That will overtime replace My S21 Ultra as it begins it's descent into retirement.
I managed to pre order the Samsung Ultra 24 1 tb in blue during the unpacked event! :) It confirmed stayed it will be here by the 31st for me so I hope to get a tracking number soon I've heard people who pre order get phones almost a week early (1st time for me)

It's an incremental upgrade at best. Flat screen , 2600 nits, snapdragon gen 3. As an owner of the s23 Ultra, I'll wait for the z fold 6 and hope they use the best prototype designs and give it 100% to be as good or better than the Huawei mate x5 and Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche edition as first large foldable w integrated s pen. When comparing the reflection between 2 phones, it would give a greater credibility if they were both displaying the same screens.
Also would help if the angle and what the screen was facing is the same 😅
I wanted to buy a Pixel 8 Pro (because I have the 7Pro) but Google disappointed this year so I waited. I said I'm not gonna buy a Samsung ever again after the S22u but after Samsung switched back to snapdragon I got tempted again, so I Preordered a S24 Ultra 512gb in Titanium Purple, it'll arrive on the 25th January 😊
I love all your reviews 🤗 Finally a flat screen!!! I refused to buy any curved screen phone 🤣
Nice deal! Got the S24U 1TB for 869€ (nice) can't wait!!
@@xPenitentOne nice! Did you trade?
got lucky with a student discount and s23 ultra trade in, ended up paying just under £400 for the 512gb, ny the time i sell the free watch should be under £300
The Genshin slander got me good haha keep it up, love your reviews
@@miker7920my 22 plus barely lasted a day, get home from work it'd be at 20%
@@miker7920 Correct
Great first and funny review. The S24 Ultra changes under the hood are good, but not enough to make me move from from my S23 Ultra. I The cameras are the biggest upgrades for me, especially if I did video and wanted to zoom without stopping to change cameras. Flat screen preferrable too. I wonder how the S24/S24+ with Exynos will fare?
If I could just give this bloody video 2 likes 👍 I would, and not for just the product involved, but for the bloody vibes 😅!
Just pre ordered! Can't wait
At last they got rid of the stupid curving screen
I just love how this guy gives no fucks with his words just spews out some absolute random nonsense gotta love it 😅
Ordered the 512gb today.
@@AppleReviewsthey do it's a Samsung offer if ordered before the release date
Poor guy lost out on a gw6
They do. You just need to add in a code that is mentioned on the page you order the phone on.@@AppleReviews
@@AppleReviews oh dear you couldn't be more wrong if you tried them again your name is apple reviews so that says it all
Thank you for injecting some personality and humour into this! Look forward to your full review 🍻
Waiting for the comparison between this one and the Google Pixel 8 Pro!
@@CinderRaethe tensor chip is the biggest pile of garbage going and I can say that typing on a pixel 7 pro
@@connorringland1732 lol clearly you don't know anything about it, it's a fantastic chip. I can say that typing on the pixel 8 pro.
@@CinderRaeWhat’s the battery life like on the Pixel 8 pro? So many reviews on sites say the battery drains badly.. this is the only thing stopping me from getting the pixel 8 pro.. please and thank you 😊
@gypsy9062 it's amazing! I get 8+ hours of on screen time playing games on it, not on wifi. I highly recommend the pixel 8 pro
The clear highlight of this video was the chocolate bar review. No one does reviews like Uncle Spurt
I pre ordered mine for Jan 24th but had an even earlier date available.. Switched from my usual black phones to a grey one. Changing it up a bit 😂
Great video 🙂
I got grey too.
@lovethecoffeeberry1882 Brilliant. I got the case that let's you see the display but I'm hoping actually stays shut and not flap open. If not I'll either go for my usual Spigen tough armour case or one with magsafe built into the case.
I want to be the one writing the que cards!! We love this guy!!
It confirmed stayed it will be here by the 31st for me so I hope to get a tracking number soon I've heard people who pre order get phones almost a week early (1st time for me)
Mine is stated to be delivered on the 24th. Certainly would be a nice surprise and a relief for my currently beaten S20+ 😂
Be aware that you'll have to pay for the AI features in 2025.
@@AIP404 Samsung hid the info in the fine print on their website about the S24 series. You have to read through it but it's there. You can go watch TechOdysseys video on it. He talks about it in his video.
@CinderRae I've heard all the built in ai stuff is free but the google ai isn't gonna be 🤷
i jsut pre ordered mine and it says it'll actually arrive BEFORE the release date on the 23rd
The Plus has everything I ever wanted, which I only had on the Ultra, which is 12GB and QuadHD, but where I live, Exynos comes... I don't know if I can get used to the Ultra's screen format.
You can still get the S23U it's still in one of the top 10 best smartphones right now
@@asadk4636why should he get the s23 ultra when he clearly states the s24 ultra screen is too big?? BTW the s24 ultra has snapdragon
@@Sob3r777 I meant the curved and flat
Hello - can in your full test confirm it's Dual E-sim (a first for a Samsung s phone) - the spec sheet claims that it is?
It's an incremental upgrade at best. Flat screen , 2600 nits, snapdragon gen 3. As an owner of the s23 Ultra, I'll wait for the z fold 6 and hope they use the best prototype designs and give it 100% to be as good or better than the Huawei mate x5 and Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche edition as first large foldable w integrated s pen. This upgrade is only for those who have the s22 or s21 or older , if you have the s23 ultra I recommend waiting one more year or until summer minimum
It's much bigger upgrade then you think
@JamesThomas-dn6ee for me I hope they give the fold 6 100 % because I want a different experience. But I think.for those who have s23 ultra it's smarter to wait one more year at least
@@morm2173 I upgrade every year and this is to me a huge upgrade
@@JamesThomas-dn6eeUnless you're an insane power user it's not much of an upgrade. And if you're a mobile gamer, why?
@steveguy3 having a flat screen is big for me I also like the fact it's less reflective. The more powerful processor is a plus. The ai features are nice especially in the note app. I feel there is definitely alot of nice upgrades
Pre ordered the grey 24 ultra, looking forward to this phone, recently got the iphone15promax as ive never really owned a iphone but that was due to me waiting for the s24ultra, but ill have the best of both, last samsung i had was 21 ultra so 24 better make me proud, lets go 24ultra
Will the AI available for older models in the future?
I think so
Is the vibrate improved at all? I've missed so many messages and even calls on my S22 Ultra because I couldn't feel the wimpy vibrate in my pocket. Seems insignificant but kind of a dealbreaker if not.
I've heard that it's better here so if you get it you'll be fine
Where can we get the 🔥 wallpapers?
The directors views is now named dual rec? Interested to see what it can do.
Still using S7 edge here, gonna be 8 years this august 😅 i admit, these samsung phones are sooo well equipped with tons of features & body designing + protection, these phones, if maintained well, will last for life, if not at least for a decade or more .. unlike apple, which wows it's audiences by copy paste features from other compaines, as if they done it first 😂
God he’s soo British lol “bloody knackered, I am”
Calm down bro 😂
Where do you get ol those dope wallpapers from🧐
good day kind sir. BTW i really like your humor and the way you deliver yourself when reviewing a phone! its so much fun to listen to your yankers! (lol)
BTW just want to ask if this phone has a bypass charging technology when gaming? thank you in advance and keep on rocking mate.. 😎
I love how his videos are actually fun to watch although IK everything about this phone already haha
Just a question, how were you able to get this phone when it hasn't even been released in the market yet?
Are the haptics and sound better this year or the same as last year?
But bro, your comment section is full of rich people🤣🤣. i usually watch your videos just to be informed but your comment section is even more fun. watching this on S9 still feels like a crime around here🤣🤣🤣
Love the chocolate part 🤣🤣🤣
Dude fastest than better ❤
I saw todoroki, i clicked ❤❤
Just ordered mine. Gold, 1TB, as well as the goodies Samsung uses to entice us.
Just be aware that you'll have to pay for the AI features in 2025. They will charge people if they want to keep using the AI features
9:05 What a savage.. giving Mr. Beast a 'free promo' only to completely eviscerate the taste and quality of his chocolate bar 😂
