I've not seen this at my local Costco yet (Northern CA). I wonder if they distribute them by store or region. A while back I saw someone post about an Alexander Murray Laphroaig at a Costo a few cities down, but my Costco had AM Bruichladdich. I ended up picking up a couple of those and they were wonderful.
Amazing for the price. To me, it seems somewhat similar to Ardbeg Uigeadail. My replacement bottle should be arriving tomorrow, so I can compare head to head. Different for sure, but it seems like some of the same notes are in there.
wtf you talking about...? I'm in Alberta and buy Costco liquor ALL THE TIME. Its a separate store within Costco, accessed only from the outside, there's one at EVERY Costco center.

They've had wime for a couple of decades or so. Liquor sales are controlled by the LCBO. The Liquor Control Board of Ontario. A government and union controlled business that is holding onto it's monopoly with and iron grip. They set the prices and decide when, where and what you can buy. There is a small movement to get liquor sold in grocery stores but I think it will be a long time before that happens. The LCBO doesn't want to relingquish any power and doesn't want any competition. They even set the prices for beer and wine in the grocery stores so that there is NO competition. It sucks huge!
Had a drink of this, I don't care what people say. This is terrible. Has a strong taste of burnt plastic. Was very harsh to drink. Had three other people try it and all said the same thing.
I really enjoy this dram. I bought 12 bottles of it in Mount Pleasant, SC and it reminds of me of Caol Ila.
It's on sale at a Costco store in Korea for $75.
Just opened a bottle of this whiskey this very evening. Lagavulin came to mind. It’s nothing to write home about, but its not bad either
Costco often uses the labeling colors of the brand they are using. That would indicate Lagavulin in this case.
for what it is and $40 it’s pretty good. Got bottle and liking it. because of ABV I thought Kilchoman

Some states allow alcohol purchases without membership at Costco.
Seems like a watered-down, cask strength, 15 Caol Ila to me. Nice review too.
For me, this is very similar to a lagavulin 9 GOT edition. Both are ex bourbon cask matured
