Here in the states due to tariff law this one got bumped up a bit in price. Still worth the increase in price as it hasn't skyrocketed. Malty indeed and so wonderfully lightly complex vanilla light lemon curd/lemongrass with a long lasting mildly bittersweet light tea like herb laden finish. Lovely stuff...... CHEERS FROM WISCONSIN USA GENTLEMEN!
Thank you gentleman, I watched your reviews before buying and I was lucky to get such a starter tasting pack in Ukraine where 20cl Glenkinchie was present! To me it was quite reach flowery in nose, but unexpectedly oaky in taste and aftertaste. Overall impression is "quite deep and complex" for 12 and for this price category.
Good review. I have a suggestion. Could both of you share your favorite 12 year selections from the five regions. For example, mine are Glenkinchie, Springbank, Caol Ila, Cragganmore, and Highland Park.
Surprised you both didn’t detect wood smokiness. Funny I had it for the first time a few days ago on the New Year’s Eve, and here I see a review by the Leunings.
Yep, we always get taken to the cleaners here in Canada. $90 CAD is $70 USD & about 52 pounds. LCBO (Ontario) has this listed at $87 and distillers edition at $100, but both out of stock as of today.
Can't say i 've tried too many, probably about 10 Scotch single malts, this is the only one i recall the taste by memory and the most balanced of all. Like an elite tasting whisky.

One of my favorites. Try their distillers edition too. Very good.

I would love to see this pleaaw
This is a nice and honest, simple dram. You can pick up a pretty foul 15€ blend or spend about 35€ for this entry level quality whisky, an easy choice
Spot on

If Horst makes a second sip- I buy whisky. If not- I don’t ;)
Please review classic Canadian Club.

Only stupid people are from MA and you just proved that.

Почему на горлышке бутылки нет красного лейбла 12? Это подделка?
I watched this only to hear what words will be chosen to describe (in my opinion) the most unimpressive Scotch whisky. They were very careful...😂
I was not impressed either.
