I struggled so much at first especially and to some extent I still do. Countin' calories is a slippery slope for me to begin disordered eating so I just try to stay balanced. It's not easy but the attempts are still there.

I get it completely! Eating has become such an upsetting thing for me that I actually have little to no interest in eating at all. Not good for someone who used to have bulimia. I've had Type 2 diabetes for almost 20 years. Most of that time I have been able to control it with diet and exercise, but occasionally I just say to hell with it and eat something that raises my blood sugar and tastes fantastic. Not good for my OCD tendencies.

So sorry😞I’m a foodie and this diagnosis is slowly turning me away from the joy of food. I mean, I didn’t eat anything and everything, but I loved watching cooking channels and trying out a recipe or two and now most of my fav channels I watch, I can’t even make the meal because it will raise sugars.
