Mr. Koubou, please take care as it's not a good practice to put the cable the same side of the motor pulley, I comment this as I can see you're perfectionist. Please recive my salutation from Argentina! thanks for sharing your quality jobs and tools.
Just finished mine. Great design, plans and performance. True, the first thing I did with it was sharpen a pencil, but many uses since. And its only been finished for a week
Felicitaciones! Todas sus creaciones tienen calidad profesional y artística!... Gracias por compartir sus sus conocimientos... Saludos desde Ciudad de México. 🖐️🙂🇲🇽
You work and make tools like a well oiled machine shop! Your tools are as good if not better than a lot of tools that are manufactured. You are absolutely amazing. Awesome video. 2 thumbs up! 👍👍
Fantastic work JSK. Thank you for sharing your great ideas and workmanship! I love your ability to perfect every part of your build process. Well done indeed 👍🏼.
Your work always cleaning and clearing, thanks for your efforts to help us... Please can you fitting sizes directly into planning when you get work on screen ..
I tumble on your channel by accidence and after watching two video I am very impress. You have some amazing hand made modification for your tools which blow me away. Wow. Thank you for sharing.
I'm not a woodworker, but when I see you working and see the final result, I want to have one too. Doesn't matter what kind of machine or device you make 😀👍

Great project. I love it. Maybe I will build one myself, too. I do already have a disc sander, but a bigger one would be helpful. BUT: 2 things I would change. 1st: What will you do when the sandpaper is worn out? Wouldn‘t using velcro have been a better solution? Additionally I would alter the design of the front a little bit to make it easier to exchange the sandpaper. 2nd: You outsourced the power management to a seperate device which is engenious. But why do you mount the power strip then to the disc sander and not to the engine where the whole power management is outsourced to? This way you need a power strip on every new device you hook up to the engine device. The other way round each new device is freed of power management and therefore you only need one power strip… Great project. Thx 4 sharing. Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭
I fix my sandpaper with contact adhesive. When I want to replace worn sandpaper I heat it with heatgun and it comes off easily. Here in South Africa we don't get velcro backed sandpaper bigger than 150mm.My self built sander disc is 300mm across.
@@NotQuiteFirst I wouldn‘t advise that. On one side it would be a hassle to get the glue to stick to the old sandpaper (and you do not want the sandpaper to fall off every time you start sanding), on the other side it would probably not be flat anymore, so instead of sanding your workpiece flat, you would sand grooves into it.
Thank You for your awesome tutorials. Many beginners watch your tutorials and can not proceed with any of the tutorials because many of us do not know the name of the parts, therefore it is impossible to source the parts in our country. Example: Your disk sander has knobs, aluminum parts, bearings with special holders and so on. A list of the special parts name would be of GREAT help. If you have a supplier in your country a link would also be a good idea. I use a VPN server and I can shop in any country and inquire about international shipping. The most important part is a list of the non DIY supplies including nuts and bolts. Do you thing you could send me a list of the parts you used in this tutorials ? For your cooperation and understanding I thank you in advance. Best Wishes, Dirk

Hello, very nice job! I already purchase and downloaded the plans, thank you! Could you please tell me the technical specifications of the electric motor you used? and also some other electronic pieces (fuse, variator, etc...) thanks
I would be happy if you could share my video on your SNS.
The wave is big and the drawing is small
Tools beget tools, precision begets precision. Watching this channel is like watching the industrial revolution in (very clean) summary.
I’m always amazed at the inventiveness, precision and beauty that you incorporate into your work. Truly an inspiration.
While I am always impressed with the quality of your builds I am even more impressed by the quality of your plywood.
I wasthinking the same thing!

Thanks for the good advice!
Maybe a mesh cage over the pulley system.
Brilliant. Please make more tools using this motor. For example, a lathe, a belt sander, a drum sander, etc
You are excellent at making straight cuts by hand!
Как всегда, с чувством, с толком, с расстановкой. Руки золотые
Hands down the best cordless option

Heh George are you n the UK? Did you source all the hardware in the UK? If not in the UK where did you source them from? Cheers in advance.
Oops, I'm not in the UK, but US
@@georgedennis2719 Hi George: How do you manage changing the sandpaper? thx
@@djl9731 I get adhesive backed disks from Klingspor. Peel and stick. To get them off a little blast with the hair dryer softens the glue

Чудная работа.

Заслуженно надо заметить.
These builds remind me to try using JB weld on more tap and die/welding tasks I'd otherwise put off/avoid.
Excelente. Felicitaciones desde Argentina.
Great built as usual.Wish I could lay my hands on that quality of plywood.

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Very great and beautiful 👍👍
Great design disc sander! Can you please share some details about the motor? What horse power do you suggest so it won't bog down during sanding?
Excellent! Arigato gesaimasu!
Looks great, but use the other end of the platform, where the disc moves toward the platform, not away from it.
Very Nice.
