Trout Slayer Performance Test - June 2024 (Bluegill, Green Sunfish, Bass)

- This Trout Slayer (by Leland Lures, makers of Crappie Magnet and Trout Magnet) Performance Test was performed in Henry County, MO at an impounded body of water (no current). It is the second part of a previously released video titled Slip Bobbers for June Bass and Panfish.
Having seen a couple of videos recently on YT about the Trout Slayer, and discovering that they were produced by the same folks (Leland Brothers) who make Crappie and Trout Magnets, I was curious about these tiny crawfish. So I ordered the TS Kit on Amazon and tried them out for the first time. The results were excellent.
These tiny 1.5 inch micro craws are very realistic. As far as I know, they only come in five colors - but the right colors. The two colors used in today's test were Huckleberry and Watermelon.
The plastisol is tough, ala Crappie Magnets, but not indestructible. Not to worry, the lures are very affordable and replacement packs (4 bodies) also come with two sharp, size 6 jig heads.
Conclusion: Excellent micro finesse lures; a great addition to the family of tiny lures that catch LOTS of fish. Thumbs UP!

What a show today with the trout slayers!! Lots of nice bluegill, greenies and of course bass! These tiny crawdads really catch fish! Fun fishing Don❤!!
Been fishing these for years, they catch just about anything that’s swims.
Next stop, Everharts Outdoors for some of these Slayers. Don, you caught some very nice bluegill on this bait. Enjoyed the video.
