  • The objective of this 15 May float tube excursion to a public MDC pond
was to catch panfish. Using both Z-Man Shad FryZ and Bear Paws Garden Worms (Funky Color), some nice panfish were caught. Three different sunfish varieties were caught: Bluegill, Hybrid Bluegill and Redear Sunfish.
Of course many bass (and several channel catfish) were caught during the trip and may appear in future videos.
Rudie, Chief Papillon Trip Advisor, has a few photo ops but was otherwise on vacation.
    Enjoy the show!

Whoopie!! What a day of fun fishing! We had never seen that pond so full before and after showing the pipe so low explains why. ZMan of course wins the day again and you know the weedless worm would have been my choice 🥰. Beautiful Bluegill and Redear Sunfish!! What a day of easy basket filling and all big chubby fish. Thanks for a great day. RTR!!😘

I’ve fished a few ponds out there in Benton County and also near Clinton! They are running high. I’m not familiar with this one, but it looks like a great panfish producer! Do you have an email or Facebook? I could send you a few spots to try out!
