Same. Idk if you’re from the area, but there was _nothing_ like a “Pedro Day” when he was pitching in Boston during that time. The entire city was just electric and buzzing at the prospect of watching Petey strike out 15 or 18 on a given night. So much fun to watch. Little skinny Pedro striking out a bunch of monsters on steroids for years.

Prime pedro had 5 pitches to get you out with. No one has that kind of stuff, and has been that dominant, in a long time. The diamond favors hitting over pitching. No matter what park you go to. Tons of power throughout every lineup. On the good teams you have at least 6+ hitters who can put up solid HR and Slugging numbers

2 things. While Pedro knows a thing or 2 about pitching. Pitchers been employing this strat of nibbling down and away on Judge the last 3 years getting bogus strikes. He still remains discipline and almost always gets to 3-2. You will have no choice but to buzz him off the plate or change his eye level. He doesn’t crowd the plate so throwing inside will look obvious. Judge will abuse you Pedro. Umpires check hands for substance and your trick of suntan lotion in your hair won’t work on start days. You and Clay Bucholtz were never slick… just y’all hair 😂
