Hi Everyone, We hope you enjoyed our video! Which small travel trailer with bunk beds did you like best? Please say hello by leaving a comment below! Also, please feel free to ask any questions or just tell us about yourselves. We want to get to know you and share our RV experiences.
Hi Payton, We have a video or two about hybrid travel trailers. Here are the links: ruclips.net/video/Xcm2JeD_-Bw/видео.html ruclips.net/video/imyEGMj1KUA/видео.html Hope these videos help you out! Mike
Hi Jimmy, We wrote an article about teardrop trailers and it is full of videos! Here's the link: rvblogger.com/blog/teardrop-trailers/ Hope it helps you out! Mike
I liked the Grand Design. It has a lot of storage. I'd like more oven, but there is enough counter for one of those Toaster Air Fryer Ovens. Also I need a night stand, but I could put a small shelf in the corner.
Thanks for these reviews! Keystone needs to move that vent under the bunk - if you put a wet bike or kayak in there it will get in the vent not to mention the paint would get scrapped off very quickly = definitely needs ventless floor...
Hi Mike & Susan. I prefer a double bowl kitchen sink. One side could be set up for wash and the other side is for rinsing which is limited with a single large bowl sink. The first Keystone model featured is the closest to meet our requirements however I wish it had wall mount heater vents as opposed to the floor type. Great video review as usual!!!!
What are your thoughts on the jayco jay feather micro 199mbs? Unfortunately with my truck I can only pull 7500lbs/900lbs tongue weight and wanna stay under 6,000 lbs when my time comes to finally get a camper.
We have the under 4000 pound Jayco Flight 174 bunkhouse. We like it. The bunks were good for grandsons, but we usually use them to store guitars and other instruments out of the way, and not in the car. My only complaint is no drawer in the kitchen! Also, to turn on the light in the bathroom, you have to be tall enough to tap the ceiling light - which grandsons are not. We added a battery powered “tap it” light next to the toilet paper, and it has worked great. We have not added a tv. It has a big refrigerator and separate freezer. We also like that it was only $20,000!
I like the extendable faucet in the first one. That will make it easier to fill water bottles that are two tall to fit under the tap, but you could tip them over, and then tip the extendable faucet over to fill them. But I'm questionable about the retractable shower door, fearing it might get mildew-y if it gets rolled up when it's wet or has soap splattered on it.
Mike, did you make a video about trailers 3000 lbs or less that have either wet or dry baths? I’d like to find one that can be towed by either a car or a small suv.
Hi Robert. That weight with a bathroom could be a little tough. Mike wrote an article that might help. Best of luck. rvblogger.com/blog/travel-trailer-under-3500-lbs
I didn’t see any outlets in that awesome kitchen for coffee maker or toaster in the Grand Design. I also didn’t see any place for the TP in the bathroom and NO bathroom storage. I LOVE having a double bowl sink in the kit. That’s the only good thing about the Heartland. The Keystone was really nice, but a little too long for me. Of course it has to be to fit everything it has in it. Love the U-shape dinettes.
Hey Scott, We appreciate the love and support! Have you seen this popup video of ours yet? ruclips.net/video/ZVQ-wiwSayE/видео.html Thanks for watching and commenting! ❤ Mike and Susan
On the Grand Design I wish you showed the cabinet next to the TV. Was it a pantry or hanging closet or maybe both? Also it would be great to have a sofa option with removable table instead of the booth. Thank you
My apologies! I didn't even catch that. It's a pantry/closet. It does have a bar at the top. The Grand Design Imagine AIM 16ML doesn't have a dinette if you want to check that one out. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I like the layout of the Prowler. Any others that have a similar design? Having larger bunks is really nice, but getting more than 200lbs would be better!
I enjoyed the reviews but would like to know more about tank capacity, toilet type and power systems. Are the batteries lithium or agm and is there a generator or all solar? Thanks again for great review
Hi Bob. We keep our tours brief since we do several in a video, otherwise it would be too long. If a viewer likes a particular model, we are hoping they continue their research from there. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The Keystone Passport - Why have a Murphy bed when you can just pull out the sofa? It frees up more space. I like the little L-shape counter in kitchen. It gives more counter space. And it's not in the way to where you'd be banging into it all the time. I really like the additional storage on the back side of the counter top. The Grand Design - I like that the upper bunk can be lifted up out of the way. Could possibly be removed entirely if not needed. Don't like that the bed can't be lifted up to access the storage. Watch your ducking under the top rail of the shower door. The Heartland Prowler - To bad they couldn't figure more storage by the bed. Not very much counter top space in the kitchen. But the dinette table can be used for additional meal prep. Not enough leg room on the toilet.
That's awesome! So glad you could find the perfect RV for you! Best of luck and enjoy! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Susan is going to get even in play cards and that snide remark about the weight limit on the bunkbed. When my husband and I would camp, he would beat me in cards, with no mercy. But every now and then, I would clean his clock. Fun times. Don't give up Susan. Your time is coming.😉😉😉😉
Unfortunately no. (Depending on what you consider small) Most 2 bedroom travel trailers will be at least 30' in length. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hi Ruby, We almost bought a trailer with bunk beds. Our idea was to remove the bunks and make an office area for us to work while on the road. Thanks for watching!!! Mike and Susan

Mike Susan fantastic tours. Thanks
Hi Chuck!
More to come!
Thanks for the kind words!

The Grand design is lovely, I like the outside kitchen plus the larger inside kitchen. The bathroom is good too. Having the flip up bunk is useful.
We love Grand Design floor plans!!! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Loved the little Grand Design , thanks Mike and Susan
Hey Mildred,
Great choice! We appreciate the love and support!! :)

I like the Grand Design Imagine AIM 15BH. The kitchen is just great. One could prep meals very well there.
Hey Scooter,
Great point!!

You showed the best one a few weeks ago. The Highland Ridge 17BH. I was so impressed with it that I'm picking one up in the near future.

Great tip about the kithcen faucet. The retractable shower door has a squeegy effect to remove water. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I'm just as confused about the outlets, and tp!!! I (Susan) prefer a double bowl sink too. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I love that bathroom sink.
Which model are you talking about?
Thanks for watching!
Mike
The last one… no. That Heartland was seriously lacking. Grand Design has always been my favorite. They know how to put storage everywhere.

Agree. Much safer to build bunks with a 300 lbs weight capacity. Thank you for watching our RV tour and commenting Mr. JoePete.

Does the Grand Design Imagine AIM come with a porcelain toilet, or a bigger fridge, or no bunk beds?
They have different floor plans. I saw one on another channel.
There are different floor plans with different layouts but I don't think you'll find a porcelain toilet. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Do you know of any small travel trailers with two bedrooms?
Unfortunately no. (Depending on what you consider small) Most 2 bedroom travel trailers will be at least 30' in length. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Those were nice but have no need for bunk beds let alone a huge trailer period . . Only need a 14 to 16 foot trailer tops
Hi Ruby,
We almost bought a trailer with bunk beds. Our idea was to remove the bunks and make an office area for us to work while on the road.

Who makes a door that low? They obviously don’t understand their buyer. Sheesh.
I know right! I hit my head like 3 or 4 times!
