Join me in my first vlog of the season as I check out all the new changes around the UK's best amusement park, including some exciting Valhalla action! I also get back on many of the best rides and roller coasters on offer such as Icon, Big Dipper, Avalanche and Grand National. Blackpool Pleasure Beach is an amusement park located in the seaside town of Blackpool in Lancashire, England United Kingdom. It is home to over 30 different rides and attractions, 10 of which are roller coasters! Notable rides at the park include Icon, the UK’s first full circuit double launched roller coaster and Big One, the UK’s tallest roller coaster. The park celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2021!

This is why I only ever ride Valhalla as soon as it opens on the day, if you do one of the very first boats going round, you’re more likely to get a lot more stuff working, or at least that works for me last season anyway.
That is very true. We just happened to be occupied doing other stuff when it first opened.

They probably need a bigger maintenance team and a bigger maintenance budget, that’s why after four months Saturday was the way it was.
I don’t blame the engineering team, they’re doing the absolute best they can with the small team and budget that they have, it’s clear that it’s other things that are causing all this.
In my opinion, it’s time for Amanda to step down and let someone else in the family take over, after 20 years and everything that happened since then I think it’s time for a fresh start with a younger member of the family taking over, and I think I know just remember to do that😉
I wouldn’t be surprised if Amanda actually lets Nick take over the management and running of the park, and she goes back to doing her Steve’s work stuff and running the hotels, given the attitude of her tweets, and that interview that she gave about passholders not too long ago. It almost seems like she’s getting fed up.
Did the flying skeleton ghosts in Valhalla work?
Yes they did!
Apparently the hammers are coming back on Valhalla. One of the ride staff mentioned they are away for a refurb at the mo :)

I heard open day there was not the Best before you went in they should off put a sign up tell you what rides were closed.
A lot of cynical, people seem to think Grand Prix will just get replaced by more grass/stage work, stuff or stuff like that. LOL
So let’s hope that they prove us wrong, because more rides over the last 20 years have been taken out Then installed which is a real concern?
Well Amanda said that they are planning a new attraction so we can hope that that is not the case!
