Gotta love how Blackpool Pleasure Beach is the park that looks most like a Roller Coaster Tycoon creation. 10 extremely awesome and varied coasters in a decently small and compact plot of land all the while cross crossing each other in a glorious jumbled mess! This park is definitely high on my amusement park bucket list!
Probably going to go this year with a 10 and 11 year old sons I'm hoping they will be tall enough for some of the bigger rides it's no fun going on alone like I did at Chessington and alton towers

I know right . All the USA parks are huge and spread out ... Blackpool everything is crammed in. Love it. Can't wait for it to be opened again so we can can all go after lockdown!!!
It's amazing how many rides Blackpool pleasure beech has in such a small area, there are rollercoasters criss crossing each other everywhere, unlike other theme parks where you spend more time walking from one ride to another than actually riding the rides, in Blackpool pool you can get off a ride and be on another one within a few metres, that's why it's my favourite theme park.
Some good memories there. Havnt been in there since 1979. Me and my mate went for the weekend. Spent all day on the big dipper, grand national and the revolution. Great memories, great video. Thanks
No one: Pleasure Beach: How many roller coasters can we fit into a small amount of space? So glad the horse racing ride is still there! I remember riding that and the grand national back in the 2000's
The Horse Racing will be there as long as the Pleasure Beach is still there it’s it’s part of the family there all the other rides can be removed if needed because they haven’t had such an impact on people as the horse racing has, and it is one of the most ridden rides at Pleasure Beach.
@@shorey66 People tend to over compensate for the lack of typical restraints so it looks a bit rough because people tighten up. It's quite an experience the first time, one drop gives you quite the jolt but it's completely safe and good fun.

I really cant decide if I prefer icon or the big one - I really love icon because of the smoothness and my fave part is the bit of airtime going into the second launch. But the height and speed of the big one is amazing and it was my first real thrilling coaster. I am leaning towards big one
Prefer infusion as its a less boring experience with all the corkscrew inversions and twists. I honestly dont remember riding icon and I got pretty bored of the big one after the second go on the front seats. Infusion is one of the most memorable rides I've been on alongside hero from flamingo land.
Revolution is so scary Oh I don’t mean the ride, I mean the queue, standing on a metal tower that you can see through as a rollercoaster comes in and shakes the entire station
Although Pleasure Beach has amazing thrill rides, such as "Icon" and "Infusion", my favourite ride in the entire park is "Alice in Wonderland" purely for its historical factor, it survived being partially burned from the fire of the "Grand National" and also the fact that Walt Disney himself approved it, which is why the scenes depicted are Disney's, despite the art style being more realistic... Well, as realistic as fiberglass sculptures from the 1960s can be. Though the latex sculptures in the ride are cracked and decayed and the wooden parts make the whole ride smell like old books, I wouldn't have anything else stand in its place, and which is why it stands as my number one. Although, the "Ghost Train" (Fun Fact: the term "ghost train" originated with this ride, which opened in the 1930s) is my second favourite.
You have to give pleasure beach credit, some very good stereotypical seaside wooden coasters and the design in which they have managed to integrate all the coasters to run around each other is impressive. Probably has more coasters than most of the other theme parks in the UK
Thanks for watching Matt, BPB has ten coasters (the same as Alton Towers and Flamingo Land). In our opinion, Pleasure Beach has the best selection of coasters in the UK though!
Going on Icon and others...I'm terrified...I went on the big one early 2000 and I prayed to Jesus with my eyes shut through the whole ride..I saw nothing 😂 hopefully I will keep the peepers open this time and not be so wussyfied

I can’t be the only one binge watching pleasure beach videos during covid haha. Blackpool is one my favourite places to go and I hope that I’ll get back soon
Gotta admit...I was pleasantly shocked/surprised with this park. Looked to be genuinely fun, which I can’t say is the case for a lot of major theme parks nowadays. Racing wooden coasters, 2 launch coasters, a steeplechase (brought back childhood memories). That Infusion coaster was action packed and could give a lot of B&M inverts a serious run for their money. Great video. 👍🏾
Ebony Molineux you will really enjoy it, I’ve got a mega phobia of fast and high rollercoasters but ultimately enjoyed. Couldn’t go on the big one as it was to windy and Valhalla is shut down till 2021. 😕
I went all the way to Blackpool last weekend to go on The Big One but it was like 60mph winds so it wasn't open becuase the ride cant go on winds over 30mph but I still had a really good time on all the other rides.😆 I'm going to go back there in the summer to hopefully go on the big one.
I rode Steeplechase with my father, back in the days when it had different (and probably less safe seating.) I was absolutely petrified and convinced I would die on the rails. I went on it years later when the newer seats were installed and was amazed how safe I felt.
Brings back so many memories, I used to go back when I was a child. Back when The Big One was called Pepsi Max and had just recently opened. Before the big fire which devastated the indoor fun house!! Can't wait to take my children here...
Big dipper was always traumatic!! The track is soooo rickety and it causes a lot of whiplash, had my eyes shut for most of the ride when I was on it 😂. It’s a fun experience tho
Not the same without the wild mouse... Loved that every visit for years and years. It felt like you were going to die as it literally disintegrated into splinters around you. Bring it back!
Haven't been on blue flyer or icon, all the other coasters several times, saying that I only did infusion in Southport and I found it rough here nice povs though Scott 👍👋👋👋😎
Infusion has gotta be one of the roughest ones there lol However, I still remember riding it 7 times in one sitting once as they were running two trains and the queue was short. On the exit I just ducked back under the rails to join the main queue XD. I’ve moved back to Australia now but I do love this park :-)
Not been on a coaster ever but, out of the historical ones, the Grand National is especially impressive from this film. Its amazing how some of these are over 100 years old.
@@yourexperienceguide I love the channel and I enjoyed the recent Port Aventura vlog you did. AND we are visiting Blackpool for the first time in July, we're coming from Ireland and I'm so excited to get to the park and ride all those amazing coasters!! 😁
Watching this makes me realise I’m not as much of a wimp as I thought. I’ve actually been on 6 of the 10. I’ll likely never go on The Big One (just too high) or Infusion (don’t like the track being above). I hope to ride Avalanche when I visit this year, and maybe Icon if I’m feeling brave (I’m not a fan of inversions). I’ll never ride Revolution or Steeplechase again. Hate those rides. I do love your POVs. Excellent quality. I miss Wild Mouse. Roll on April when I visit (hopefully 😂)
TerrestrialGamer Several reasons. The Inversion. The whole thing feels unstable (I know its not but try telling my anxiety that lol). Plus the worst thing ever that a coaster could do... go backwards. I did ride it a second time to give it a fair chance, and as I got off i had a full blown panic attack and had to sit in the little cabin at the top (while my sister abandoned me to re-ride). In conclusion, I hate it lol 😂
Don't bother with any Vekoma SLCs (Infusion). The Big One is not all that big when it comes to roller coasters today (I can think of 5 off the top of my head that are within a three hour drive and are as big or bigger, one of which is over twice the height).
I’ve been on every single coaster except infusion and steeplechase and it was absolutely amazing, especially icon. Will probably go on infusion and steeplechase next time. Only downside was on grand national ( the first time I went to pleasure beach ) my face hit the safety bar and I walked away from that ride with a swollen lip but this was when I was only just tall enough so it was kind of expected because it’s a bit rough at times . Didn’t put me off enjoying other rides like Nickelodeon streak and avalanche though. ( I went on everything else last year and it was great, favourites were the big one , revolution , icon , Nickelodeon streak , avalanche and blue flyer lol 😂). I know this comment is long and it’s sort of a review so srry for that... shortened versions this comment : it was great but I got sort of injured but it didn’t put me off because it was a great experience
We wouldn’t have icon, the big one, the smiler, or any rollercoaster we have today (apart from side friction). Would like to see it stay open for another 100 years.
Scott, I saw you last weekend at BPB, and there was a question I forgot to ask you in the heat of the moment, how was steel vengeance? I’m watching your blog but am wondering if your opinion has changed?
Jay Likes coasters My last thought on it in a vlog was in our CoasterMania vlog, I think it’s got an amazing layout but the restraints really ruin the experience.
Same I screamed and these girls behind me ( who were older than me) were like: that girl kept screaming. Me: Well if you were my age you would scream.😂😂
I was on icon for the first time. And also my first time at Blackpool. And the Gs pushes my head forward for 3 seconds and I couldn’t move it back up and that is how I got neck pain.
Should have the wild mouse on just for nostalgia as it was the best "oh lets go on this little one" to sneak a non ride person on to a near death experience ever.
Let’s be honest, blue flyer is the best coaster at pleasure beach because the tunnel smells of pizza
I need to know if this is true.

This is awesome, what a lineup of coasters!!!
There’s some great coasters that’s for sure 😀
Thank you for watching
@@yourexperienceguide I love the channel and I enjoyed the recent Port Aventura vlog you did. AND we are visiting Blackpool for the first time in July, we're coming from Ireland and I'm so excited to get to the park and ride all those amazing coasters!! 😁
@@AudreyMealiff Thank you 😊 Hope you have a great visit
Watching this makes me realise I’m not as much of a wimp as I thought. I’ve actually been on 6 of the 10. I’ll likely never go on The Big One (just too high) or Infusion (don’t like the track being above). I hope to ride Avalanche when I visit this year, and maybe Icon if I’m feeling brave (I’m not a fan of inversions).
I’ll never ride Revolution or Steeplechase again. Hate those rides.
I do love your POVs. Excellent quality.
I miss Wild Mouse.
Roll on April when I visit (hopefully 😂)
HOW CAN U HATE REVOLUTION!
PrettyPinkWitch Laura Thank you for watching, Avalanche is a good one to ease into the day on ☺️
PrettyPinkWitch Laura infusion hurts, gives you headache everytime
Don't bother with any Vekoma SLCs (Infusion). The Big One is not all that big when it comes to roller coasters today (I can think of 5 off the top of my head that are within a three hour drive and are as big or bigger, one of which is over twice the height).
I’ve never been on a rollercoaster and I’m going here next week, what rides do you recommend
All of them, have a great time
Great quality POVs 👍
Tony Santero Thank you 😀
It’s much when you hear the people scream then you know it’s a great ride 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’ve been going on these rides all my life so no screaming necessary
@@yourexperienceguide yes but if was me I would be screaming my bloody head off
Wow, a lot of nostalgia here, happy memories!
Thank you for watching and commenting
Icon is just so good!
Stubwood We love it 😀
Stubwood Icon is brilliant, I rode it last year
I’ve been on every single coaster except infusion and steeplechase and it was absolutely amazing, especially icon.
Jack the small person Glad you had a (mostly) good time 😀
Big Dipper is the basis of every rollercoaster after 1924/3
The Dawsons The upstop wheels changed everything
We wouldn’t have icon, the big one, the smiler, or any rollercoaster we have today (apart from side friction). Would like to see it stay open for another 100 years.
all there fun coasters and wooden coasters and the one you get the most bashed and bruised on is ALWAYS steeplechase! that thing is leathal!
just went blackpool yesterday and it was the most fun time of my life
Great
Scott, I saw you last weekend at BPB, and there was a question I forgot to ask you in the heat of the moment, how was steel vengeance? I’m watching your blog but am wondering if your opinion has changed?
Jay Likes coasters My last thought on it in a vlog was in our CoasterMania vlog, I think it’s got an amazing layout but the restraints really ruin the experience.
Pleasure Beach Experience isn’t that just because, no offence but a bigger so surely for a teen it would be fine?
BrtFifaHD I don’t understand your comment
2:47... that scream
Me on every rollercoaster ever.
Even blue flyer?
Aw same that’s was deffo me when I went on the Pepsi max ahaha
Same I screamed and these girls behind me ( who were older than me) were like: that girl kept screaming.
Me: Well if you were my age you would scream.😂😂
the rest of my family :
*going on the big one, the Big Dipper, avalanche, icon, etc-*
me :
*best i can do is nick-streak*
Thanks for watching and commenting
Seeing this from an American's perspective is wild cause you never get coaster interaction this dense across the pond.
Thank you for watching and commenting :)
Great to have all coaster in one and unique video !
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you
2:35
Pigeon chillin
Glad he moved in time
Wasn’t there a rollercoaster ‘irn bru coaster’ or am I just delusional 😂
Caitlin Duree Not really, the Revolution was sponsored by Irn Bru but it’s always been “the Revolution” 😀
I remember there being an ‘irn bru coaster’ aswell but apparently it never existed lmao
i’m going in two days i’m scared of roller coasters so i’m gonna pass out
how was it?
DragonYT good aha i got over being scared and i thought it was really fun
no thanks oh ok haha. im going on the 30th and i dont go on many rollercoasters so im excited
DragonYT aha have fun !
@@gracey321 thanks mate :D
I love the Grand National. It brings back so many fab memories ☺
Thanks for watching and commenting
Omg avalanche is so fun! But pretty fast 😂
I refused to ride revolution because icon gave my neck pain for 1 week
The Dawsons Oh, how did you get neck pain?
I was on icon for the first time. And also my first time at Blackpool. And the Gs pushes my head forward for 3 seconds and I couldn’t move it back up and that is how I got neck pain.
Should have the wild mouse on just for nostalgia as it was the best "oh lets go on this little one" to sneak a non ride person on to a near death experience ever.
100% accurate description 🤣
It was for operational rides only
Awesome place...always the finaly to our Blackpool holidays!
The best in Britain for sure :)
I love how the mechanism that launches the Revolution is a little box that shoves you over the hill!
Turbo tea trolley
I don’t know why I watch these videos
I’m terrified of rollercoasters
But once I watch one, it’s all I watch all day 😂
Thank you for watching 😀
I went on Icon today for the first time, easily the best coaster I have ever rode.
Glad you enjoyed it
same bruh its so smooth
Can we all just agree
Icon is the best >:3
Crystal Flake yasss! 🥰🥰
Hmmm
I'm about to ride this tommorow!! The big one! I'm at Blackpool now in a hotel, so EXITED
Have a great time
@@yourexperienceguide I did and now I'm home, thanks
the launch on revolution never looks that fast until you ride it and its fast as hell XD
Underrated ride for sure
I'm going to black pool next week as a school trip. Can't wait these rides loook fun!
Thank you for watching and commenting 😀
@@yourexperienceguide absolutely amazing!! Me and my family is going again on the 24th!!hopefully I'll be able to ride all of them this time!!
