- In this interview, Ken Rowe stops by to talk about the just-announced Canon Compact Servo 18-80mm T4.4 lens, and the ME-200S-SH camera. The first in a brand new line, the 18-80mm combines the best elements of both the still image L lineup, and the EF cinema primes, with auto focusing, selectable manual aperture, image stabilization, cinema coatings, all in a parfocal lens.
The ME-200S-SH also combines the production flexibility of the ME-20 with the Super35 sensor of the C100 Mark II, to provide a cinema-ready camera that be placed into a wide range of productions, thanks to its multiple SDI connections, power options, and remote control functions.

Beautiful
4K?
No 4K for just HD thanks Canon🙃🙃
That dream APS-C lens costs $5225 !!!
omg I'm crynig :''(
+Narek Avetisyan Thank you for pointing that out. Guess I wont be getting it for an EOS M. ;-)
+Ballenxj - That's a fact.
That price would be without the optional Servo. It is a *_low_* price for a Cine-Servo, but check out what Fujinon is coming out with (better, and far more expensive). See my Lens Playlist.
EF?
+Wasim Pervez The Canon lens mount
stupidfresh305 I'm not sure what your asking but the canon EF mount is what most of Canon's cameras use, in the video he was talking about "powered EF mount" judging by this it would work on a 70D but the servo part of the lens would not work because the camera isn't set up to control lens servos like that.
+Wasim Pervez This camera features a Canon Cinema Lock EF Lens Mount. The locking cinema EF mount is compatible with EF mount lenses and provides a stronger attachment to the camera than a standard EF mount. The front of the camera features a 12-pin lens terminal enabling lens connectivity with EF mount CINE-SERVO lenses or 2/3" broadcast lenses with an optional third party adapter.
canon gear 2016...still overpriced and not up to date....
Canon could have done so much with this camera, but once again, Canon disappointed big time.
