But you made it shorter in the back than in the front by doing the diagonal cut. It’s great if that’s what you or a client wanted. Cutting with the thinning sheers straight across will not shorten the wig but will still thin the wig
Wow! Love that trick! I appreciate your instruction on thinning a straight-hair wig. I have a straight-hair wig that needs thinning at the top. I shall do your trick. I'm currently waiting for an instructional video to appear on RUclips about removing excessive volume on a synthetic curly bob wig. The wig that I recently received from Amazon is a Vivica A Fox, Oprah-5. Even though it's a high-density wig, it looks great on top but heavy on the sides. It makes me look like a Muppet character. 😄 My fine naturally curly hair used to have volume. Ever since I turned 60, my hair has become thin and no longer grows back fast enough. 🫤
Does this work for Human Hair water wave as well. I have an expensive water wave that is way to thick for me and Im trying to find a method that will work without me ruining the wig. This looks really easy but I just wanted to make sure 1st.
This 5-minute video could have easily been 2 minutes, too much explaining about how the scissors are amazing and it help you and all that extra stuff about the scissors ,we get it, there thinning scissors

I got mine for $1 at Dollar Tree in the dog section. They work perfectly & saved me some money
Thank you! Great and helpful tips!
I love the color on that wig. I’m not sure if that’s an ombre or baliage, but could you let me know where I can get it? Thanks! 😊
I love it thank you so much for sharing.

Any videos on point cutting?
Do you have other cutting tips? What if you want a wig shorter not thinner?
ooooh I like you, thank you
Easiest sub and thumbs up I have ever done
There are more ways than one to get a job done! I don’t think this is an incorrect way…. It’s just another way to do it! ❤😊
perfect
Is this technique good for synthetic wigs? And human hair?
It will work in the same way for all hair, even your bio hair if it's too thick
Which wig is this please ?
Is the a synthetic one?
so instead of thinning out the wig you've just created a thousand tiny little layers. this is not the correct way to thin a wig.
