Oh, it's far more impressive than that. The sound effects are actually from the Futurama episode where the song originates. The animation has actually been adapted to accommodate them.
I think I just watched that video for the first time in like 7 years. And working in video production now I do have a better understanding of how good this actually is. What is also really impressive is the cinematography of it all. Especially how the camera moves, pans and stops perfectly synchronized to the song. Not only that, it also supports the song with it's movement (like in a good music video). It's a bit too much to describe right now but it basically uses cinematography and shot composition very well to visualize and support the song. People might think that's easy in animation but it is actually not. There are also creatively shot stylistic scenes like the bot getting roasted by pyro. Also sometimes the character animation is very fluid while othertimes it becomes super sloppy for comedic effect. Overall just a fantastic piece of animation.
to be fair, both the sentry and Leela are annoying so i guess this is fair "Come on fry, i am sure atleast one of us will be spared" also in the same episode she sells Fry's soul without his permission in the fiddling contest
After the 10th rewatch, I realized that Robot Hell is fighting the mercenaries in Mannworks. Red team loses in the end because Spy spent the entire match griefing one enemy.
No, the winglet is not better than this, with all due respect. Nothing compares to this, animation wise, the detail put into this is impeccable. Maybe to the untrained eye The Winglet maybe better than this, but definitely not animation-wise.
I know I've made a comment before, but gosh. I really do hope this person is doing well. It's been 10 years since this animation was made and I still can't get over how well it was made. Made 2 awesome SFM's and just poof. Wherever you are my guy, I hope you are doing well. I looked at his playlists which reassured me that he is probably still alive (big relief for me because I though he was dead). One of the playlist had a video from a year ago.
I think he's might be working in some animation studio. May be even in some big like Pixar. Just imagine how high his animation skills now if that was his quality level 10 years ago

He's simply gone now, which sucks because all of his videos are very high quality and showed promise for even greater things.

An awesome detail is that the tank had a personality of it's own. It didn't just drop the bomb, it *dunked* it. Plus, it visibly recoiled from the explosion. Details!

You know you're a good filmmaker when your adaptation is 100 times better than the source material. I've watched this like 20 times already and it's just addictive. Very nicely done! I have seen very, very few SFM videos with this level of liveliness and smooth animation.
A person oozes real talent and hard effort, earns 20,000 subscribers. A person screams at a jumpscare, gets 100,000 subscribers. A person plays a video and records themselves watching the video, gets 1,000,000 subscribers. We need to even the ranking system, because this guy needs more support. The numbers are there, and it is because of us, so let's give him what he deserves, and that is more subscribers. This talent needs to be shared.

Shadow Note name a let's player who only has a subscriber count of 100,000-199,999. it's impossible. every popular let's player has 1,000,000 subscribers or more. and the unpopular ones have 1-60,000. there's been no let's play channel with 100,000 subscribers is what i was going for.
This was one of the first SFM animations to come out that had amazing animation and quality production. This is such a masterpiece I always find myself returning to.
the way that bomb was dropped at the end in sync to the music was so perfect. And the idea that they lost the mission because they were singing instead of defending/stopping the tank. amazing.
Probably the heavy emphasis on the second syllable. The word is already like that, but when the Spy/Robo-Devil really nails the accent on it, it becomes more satisfying.

This was one of the first SFM animations to come out that had amazing animation and quality production. This is such a masterpiece I always find myself returning to.
the way that bomb was dropped at the end in sync to the music was so perfect. And the idea that they lost the mission because they were singing instead of defending/stopping the tank. amazing.
