Deadnaut model 01 "Great Bear" -The Great Bear was the first successful Deadnaut model produced by the United Mann Co. Armourworks. The Great Bear, designed with Heavy in mind, remains the most durable Deadnaut model to date, with hundreds of reports of it coming out of some of the bloodiest battles in excellent working order. Normally equipped with a large stave as it's weapon, some newer Great Bears have been armed with a Hail-fire Rotary Cannon, an ultraheavy weapon designed specifically for use by Heavies that pilot the Great Bear. Deadnaut model 02 "Marksman" -The Marksman was designed shortly after the Great Bear, intended to provide Fire support to the frontline mech. The Marksman, piloted by Snipers, loses much of the Great Bear's durability in exchange for greater mobility. It's armament consists of four Deadshot hybrid rifles. These potent weapons function similarly to the Machina sniper rifle, however they can be fired without being focused, at the cost of accuracy at long ranges. Deadnaut model 03.1 "Legionnaire" -The Legionnaire, designed for use by Soldiers, was created as one of two Deadnauts designed to siege fortified bases. The Legionnaire is not as durable as the Great Bear, but it is slightly more mobile. The Legionnaire comes armed with two Whirlwind rocket launchers, each of which fires six rockets at once. The Legionnaire was also the test bed for the ABL system. The ABL system was designed to emulate a Soldier's rocket jump, allowing the Legionnaire to send itself careening through the air. This allows the Legionnaire to leap over walls when assaulting a base. Deadnaut model 3.2 "Highlander" -The Highlander is the sister design of the Legionnaire. Built for the Demoman, The Highlander is actually very similar to the Legionnaire, the only meaningful difference being the armament. The Highlander is armed with two Broadsword type 3 Variable arms launchers. The Broadswords have two settings, the first of which behaves like an oversized grenade launcher. The secondary mode is essentially a Sticky bomb launcher, allowing the Highlander to blanket large areas with stickies. The Highlander also makes use of an ABL system, granting it similar mobility to the Legionnaire. Deadnaut model 4 "Demon" -The Demon is a curious Deadnaut. Piloted by Pyro, the Demon is exclusively an anti-infantry Deadnaut. It has similar armour and mobility to the Legionnaire, but it lacks the ABL system. The Demon is armed with two Dragonfire flamethrowers. These weapons, while brutally effective against infantry, are next to useless against hard targets, such as Tanks and other Deadnauts. Deadnaut model 5 "Technician" -The Technician, created for use by Engineer, is a potent defensive Deadnaut. Armed with a Shockwave Carronade and an industrial vise, this machine's unique logistical circuits allow it to maintain up to five sentries at a time, along with a repair/rearm station. While it cannot set up teleporters, the other benefits this model provides make this an acceptable sacrifice. Deadnaut model 6 "Spectre" -The Spectre Deadnaut, much like the Spies that pilot them, is a thing of suspicion and rumor. The Spectre is very lightly armoured for a Deadnaut, but is one of the fastest and is the most technologically advanced. It is armed with a Revolver-fire micro rocket launcher and a Stiletto EMP lance. The Revolver-fire launcher, while lacking the sheer destructive power of the Legionnaire's Whirlwind launcher, is much more accurate at range and better manages ammo due to it firing rockets one at a time as opposed to all at once. The Stiletto EMP lance is an incredibly destructive weapon, able to completely ruin the circuitry of any machine it contacts. The Spectre is equipped with a Stalker cloaking system. This cloak behaves like a Cloak and Dagger, intended for short bursts of movement.
Deadnaut model 7 “Maniac -The newest model of the lot is equipped with 3 Combined Kritzkreigs , Mediguns Modified for fixing metal plates . Being a medium weight with light armour and being one of the most mobile bots it is nothing to be reckoned with. It’s inter-Changable Weapons allow it to be much more explosive resistant. Its main purpose of healing makes it almost useless in combat but to get away it’s equipped with Jump drives in the legs allowing it to drop kick or at least kick giving it some form of defence but being useless in ranged combat
Deadnaut model 8, "Hummingbird" -this ridiculously fast Deadnaut is capable of going up to speeds of 80 mph, it has very low armor and is quite frail, and can be destroyed by one Deadshot hybrid round, all though not to be ignored, it has a railgun which shoots 4 by 4 inch steel balls in a shotgun-like manor, making it a pretty deadly Deadnaut, which is meant for scouts who fair better with shotgun like guns. There are also jets at the bottom of the stabilizer pads which propel it as much as 175 meters in the air, which can be fired directionally, great for leaping into bases or escaping sticky situations. It also has a jet engine on the left "arm" of the Deadnaut, allowing the "Hummingbird" to fly an upwards of 160 mph. The "Humming bird" Deadnaut model is extremely mobile but also as easy to kill as a fly. The "Hummingbird model is about 2/3 the size of the other Deadnauts. Quote from United Mann co. Armorworks, "what of we made a really fast one?"
It's just that well made. Why would you be sad from that? I still get inspired from these designs even after the decade. That's just meaning of Michael's talent
It's so cool to see in the background all the evidence of how long this has been going on, with all the corpses and the robot remains. The set building is phenomenal, and it really makes you feel like it's been a long, hard campaign. That Mann Co is really up against the wall. The detail of them pulling a wounded back into the building, the dead bodies here and there, that burned out tank... It's all magnificent. It seems the respawn's still working, though if they're helping wounded maybe not as well as it should be; the RED soldier that gets blown up is seen exiting spawn a moment later!
If Mechs, alternative team color and even spider tank (?) will be the part of MvM update, it would be more tough and fun but I think it wouldn't happen
All G-Man sightings [wip] Help would be much appreciated 0:41 botton left corner, at the window, talking to a red engie. 0:47 right, above engie's clipboard
+The Highwayman Here is my only little "description" for the Scout :P Scout Exo-Suit Model "Wings" The Wings was the first successful Scout Exo-Suit model produced by the United Mann Co. Armourworks. Designed for flexibility and mobility, with very little armor to the stomach and upper leg. This model is designed for skyward hit-and-run tactics. The Scout who equips this type of model will be able to fly, and even hover in the sky for a long time until the Bonk! regeneration device goes into action, causing a cool down until the Scout can soar again. The Exo-Suit is fitted and powered with a Bonk!-styled system, with Engineer's wit and Scout's love for Bonk, the two were able to create this mobile weapon. The armor itself consists of a soft armor situated with metal plates, designed to have a cool black and red paint with a Bonk! symbol. The helmet themselves have a futuristic shielded mask on the front, this mask is generated by an electric outlet just around the front frame of the mask, where scouts face would be, with two shielded coats protecting Scout's face. One a darker, but more protective shield, and then a colorized shield to give the mask a more RED or BLU type of look, but still giving more protection to shrapnel, bullets, etc. There is two physics-gun like weapons on the back of the Scout's hand while wearing the suit. These act just like the Physic's Gun from Garry's Mod. Although there is two on each hand, the Scout can only use one at a time. He can use two, but this will burn out his Exo-Suit very fast due to power consumption. The two weapons were put on both hands not to be used at the same time, but just for flexibility at sticky situations. Both Exo-suit arms and legs give a mechanical advantage and disadvantage, while the Exo-suit can be frozen for a moments time, leaving the Scout very vulnerable, by a Spy's sapper, a Scout wearing this suit has 3x the power of a regular fist, therefore, its not a good idea to get close to this suit while in use if your an enemy. (COD: Advance Warfare reference :P - Plus it kinda makes sense) Unfortunately, until more testing and changes are done to the Exo-Suit, only Scouts can use them due to their slim fit and weight. The Bonk!-system can only thrust so much weight into the air, of course, with the mechanical exo-suit limbs helping with balance while soaring.
This is genuinely the best SFM I've seen. Good story, compact(short runtime, great for viewing during breaks or short periods of time), and amazing animations. Truly an amazing video.
1:16 my absolute favorite part because of just how awesome the look is. the robots are like "yeah we're cool" and the heavy mech is like "lol no" and then it cuts to a shit ton of dead robots just absolutely pouring into the pit
@@ntxoothoj2858 he's not referring to the fact it's shoot missiles,he is referring to the fact he's dragging the robot like you drag a lazy dog out the door
Valve, I DEMAND this guy gets a "late" Saxxy. He can't help the fact that his submissions didn't make the deadline. He put so much blood, sweat and tears into creating all these fantastic models and beautiful animation and he doesn't get diddly squat. For shame, Valve. For shaaaaame.
I like how most of the videos ablut MVM shows the red and blu team working together. I think it's cool how they come together to beat the robots. Shows that even enemies can work together when there's a bigger threat.
Adonis Morris it's just that TF2 devs are lazy and didn't want to create a whole new team for robots. I know a server plugin that allows becoming blue-colored, along with your weapons, even though you are in red.
Not necessarily. I mean, in the actual game of course, but in SFM's, game logic is replaced by real logic, and in real logic, Spy would look like an Engineer to both teams Engineers. Because his disguises would show up the same to both teams. You really can not trust a Spy, whether he's yours or not, because in real life, he'd be able to confuse anyone.
I actually want details of how a spy mech works, how does he “backstab” other mechs or tanks? Can the mech equip its own version of a dead ringer? Can it disguise? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!
I wanna see an explanation on the all the robots in this and maybe ones that weren’t even shown (engineer medic demo man) heck a demoknight mech would be great
@@arccostello8569 Engy would probably have a shotgun and the ability to deploy stun drones, medic could just repair other mechs with a magnet, and demoman could either charge or lob grenades.
I demand a tf2 Mecha-class: Heavy: Big, full of health and capable of doing ridiculous damage, however is slow and restricted to melee. Spy: Stealthy as ever, and weapon has consistent crits, however is restricted to melee and can't disguise. Sniper: Exceptional power at long range, but at has no melee and short range shooting is as powerful as a spy butterknifing. Medic: Capable of repairing, repairing is more powerful the closer you are, however has no offensive, second highest health behind heavy to compensate. Scout: Small, nimble, capable of short flights, lowest health but has melee and short range offensives. Pyro: Dual flamethrowers is capable of burning other mechas, however has a short range. Resistant to fire as usual. Demoman: Twice the pill bombs. Both Soldier and Demoman are highly resistant to explosives. Soldier: Rocket spam, however the more rockets are fired at once, the more likely the weapons are damaged and need repairing from Medic Mecha. Anyone else wanna add to it?
ItsDaKoolaidDude Maybe a Engineer mecha to revive dead mechas when it is close enough, and has a low damage weapon that deals light damage, however, he has less health, above the scout but no other mecha. And to add on the Spy mecha has a longer cloak time then a normal spy, but is slightly more visible, cause a cloak field can only cover something to a certain extant. Also, Demoman can only have a few pills out in battle, meaning he can't spam them, and the pills do not bounce and roll as good as normal demoman pills Soldier should be able to hold a rocket to super charge it, however, the longer he holds it, the bigger chance to break his weapons once he fires it. Those are some of the things that came to my mind, let me know what you think, and please be nice with it.
Daniel Duenas Well, in the most limited sense, yea you could equip different things, but have at least some limit on how many times or how fast you re-equip stuff. Remember, these things are *BIG*, they likely shouldn't be re-equipped in an instant like usual.
Scout should be like that but its restricted to 1 weapon only like only a machinegun and a pole melee wep Spy capable of making short emp waves across the entire map, radiation gun causes enemies to go down quickly with the help of the emp wave Engineer capable of launching mini flying machinegun drones (like the one in bioshock) while using dead team mechs to scrap or metal for him to build more Medic restricts him to only heal teammates and not damage nor melee capable of healing 2 teammates at once
Extra on spy has a cloak field capable of not only cloaking himself but cloaking other teammates only for a short range or if they are close enough to the spy limited to 3 teammates only
I checked out your artwork for these, and they are awesome. I noticed that you refer to them as "Deadnauts". This is a good name for the type of mech, but I think some individual designations and writeups are in order. These were thought up on a whim, so there is that. Without further ado, lets begin. Now, I'm pausing here because the next two models don't technically exist, but not at least creating the writeups for them leaves me with an itch I can't scratch. Deadnaut model 7 "Surgeon" -The Surgeon, a prototype Deadnaut designed for the Medic, is currently in the testing phases before primary production begins. Equipped with a Halcyon nanite beam and a Hurricane Rapid-fire spear launcher, this model's early tests have proven promising. Deadnaut model 8 "Runner" -The Runner, much like the Surgeon, is still in the prototype stages. Armed with two of the same Shockwave Carronades carried by the Technician, this model forgoes everything in favour of sheer speed. It's the fastest model to date, and it comes equipped with a downsized ABL system. While not as powerful as the versions mounted on the Legionnaire or the Highlander, it still improves the Runner's mobility considerably.
I personally see those as their own thing. More of a rapid-response, shock trooper -type equipment loadout for the Scout, different from the Deadnaughts, hence why I came up with the Runner.
Liam Jordan I'ma add and change some of the Runner bio for funzy: Deadnaut model 8 "Runner' -Much like Surgeon, is still in prototype stage. Armed with the newly made Scattercannon, capable of shooting from 16 to 60 pellet which can wipe out an entire unit if used correctly. This Deadnaut builded with Scout in mind, is the fastest yet weakest Deadnaut to date. Originally the design would be overhaul but it was too costly and complex to create a exo for Scout to wear it and attach a bit of armor on it. So they stripped enough armor to be tough enough to windstand infantry rocket and grenade while designing an lighter head to retain it sheer speed. This does allow for more flexible control and features to be added without much weight with motion-based control as it main feature and the new concussions blast system to simulate double jump'ing, and also come equipped with the backup Peppergun named 4Shotty, if the Scattercannon was to ever run out. The Runner is considered more complex when it come to control and advanced weapon than other only behind Spectre.
Now that I think about it, it does make sense for Scout to use a non-huge robot weapon. Those things are slow and easy to hit, something that conflicts greatly with how Scout usually fights.
Models alone are super epic, but just imagine a last stage; once you complete all Tour of Duty missions, to find a mech orientated finale like this. You feelin' it? I'm feeling it.
you are begining a work that is gonna be famous over all of the world! just continue the awsome work, its the best animation from tf2 i have ever seen! you cant fail on this, you cant give up, you cant loose anything. you are gonna be on the top of the list over all tf2 animators! forever! its so awsome made that its no word to describe it!
I remember referring to the final tanks in MVM matches (the kind that have black and white stripes on the front) as "übertanks" for a long time, but after seeing the giant monstrosity that was taken out in the video, I think that was far more deserving of a title like "übertank"
I'm surprised. You turned what could have been just another SFM into something really amazing that I will definitely watch again. Plus the custom models were amazing.
it's funny how we never see Pyro inside his mech suit, similar to how we never see what Pyro looks like outside of his fire retardant suit. also, if you're wondering how I know Pyro got a suit, you can tell by the fact that all of them have their class symbol on the side of their mech suits, and Pyro's class symbol can be seen on the side of a mech suit here 1:46 edit: ok so apparently it also has his face on the back but whatever
does anyone understand how amazing this is?, the musical timing? the sound effect timing? the lighting? the model making? the actual custom item creating? its just awesomely mindblowing.
THIS IS AMAZING, why couldnt this be man vs machine: every 15 minutes a giant robot on our side will come help but BOI THIS IS JUST ONE OF THE BEST SFM MOVIES I HAVE EVER SEEN
Louie Macorncan What they should do is listen to their fan base. There was this one guy who came up with an awesome reason why blu team wasn't with the red defending. It's because Blu was attacking the big robot tank! And red robots were defending! I mean come on that's just pure gold there! They could be making tons of money of that shit! They could add a whole new ticket for people to buy and people would buy it! D:

+The Highwayman Here is my only little "description" for the Scout :P
Scout Exo-Suit Model "Wings"
The Wings was the first successful Scout Exo-Suit model produced by the United Mann Co.
(COD: Advance Warfare reference :P - Plus it kinda makes sense)
Unfortunately, until more testing and changes are done to the Exo-Suit, only Scouts can use them due to their slim fit and weight. The Bonk!-system can only thrust so much weight into the air, of course, with the mechanical exo-suit limbs helping with balance while soaring.
Sure its little description

I like how most of the videos ablut MVM shows the red and blu team working together. I think it's cool how they come together to beat the robots. Shows that even enemies can work together when there's a bigger threat.
_The_ Enclave_ I mean that's what the MVM trailer was originally about but we ended up just being red in MVM :/
it worked in real life also,in ww1 a truce formed in the western front
Adonis Morris it's just that TF2 devs are lazy and didn't want to create a whole new team for robots. I know a server plugin that allows becoming blue-colored, along with your weapons, even though you are in red.
This happens all the time in real life. If say, an alien threat descended upon the Earth, everyone would fight a common enemy, I can guarantee you.
AND THEN they back stab each other.

Ikr?
There was a BLU engie near the spy, shouldn't he be able to see through the disguise?
Not necessarily. I mean, in the actual game of course, but in SFM's, game logic is replaced by real logic, and in real logic, Spy would look like an Engineer to both teams Engineers. Because his disguises would show up the same to both teams. You really can not trust a Spy, whether he's yours or not, because in real life, he'd be able to confuse anyone.

New mode: "Mech vs Machine"
Makes a lot sense
2:02 top 10 anime robot creatures
I demand a tf2 Mecha-class:
Heavy: Big, full of health and capable of doing ridiculous damage, however is slow and restricted to melee.
Also, Demoman can only have a few pills out in battle, meaning he can't spam them, and the pills do not bounce and roll as good as normal demoman pills
Soldier should be able to hold a rocket to super charge it, however, the longer he holds it, the bigger chance to break his weapons once he fires it.
Those are some of the things that came to my mind, let me know what you think, and please be nice with it.
ItsDaKoolaidDude if you can have diffrent weapons you can add to your mech then im in and also least medic do at least have some fun
Daniel Duenas Well, in the most limited sense, yea you could equip different things, but have at least some limit on how many times or how fast you re-equip stuff. Remember, these things are *BIG*, they likely shouldn't be re-equipped in an instant like usual.
Scout should be like that but its restricted to 1 weapon only like only a machinegun and a pole melee wep
Spy capable of making short emp waves across the entire map, radiation gun causes enemies to go down quickly with the help of the emp wave
Engineer capable of launching mini flying machinegun drones (like the one in bioshock) while using dead team mechs to scrap or metal for him to build more
Medic restricts him to only heal teammates and not damage nor melee capable of healing 2 teammates at once
Deadnaut model 01 "Great Bear"
-The Great Bear was the first successful Deadnaut model produced by the United Mann Co.
Deadnaut model 02 "Marksman"
-The Marksman was designed shortly after the Great Bear, intended to provide Fire support to the frontline mech.
Deadnaut model 03.1 "Legionnaire"
-The Legionnaire, designed for use by Soldiers, was created as one of two Deadnauts designed to siege fortified bases.
Deadnaut model 3.2 "Highlander"
-The Highlander is the sister design of the Legionnaire.
Deadnaut model 4 "Demon"
-The Demon is a curious Deadnaut.
Deadnaut model 5 "Technician"
-The Technician, created for use by Engineer, is a potent defensive Deadnaut. Armed with a Shockwave Carronade and an industrial vise, this machine's unique logistical circuits allow it to maintain up to five sentries at a time, along with a repair/rearm station. While it cannot set up teleporters, the other benefits this model provides make this an acceptable sacrifice.
Deadnaut model 6 "Spectre"
-The Spectre Deadnaut, much like the Spies that pilot them, is a thing of suspicion and rumor.
Now, I'm pausing here because the next two models don't technically exist, but not at least creating the writeups for them leaves me with an itch I can't scratch.
Deadnaut model 7 "Surgeon"
-The Surgeon, a prototype Deadnaut designed for the Medic, is currently in the testing phases before primary production begins. Equipped with a Halcyon nanite beam and a Hurricane Rapid-fire spear launcher, this model's early tests have proven promising.
Deadnaut model 8 "Runner"
-The Runner, much like the Surgeon, is still in the prototype stages. Armed with two of the same Shockwave Carronades carried by the Technician, this model forgoes everything in favour of sheer speed. It's the fastest model to date, and it comes equipped with a downsized ABL system. While not as powerful as the versions mounted on the Legionnaire or the Highlander, it still improves the Runner's mobility considerably.
but what about those suits the scouts had
I personally see those as their own thing. More of a rapid-response, shock trooper -type equipment loadout for the Scout, different from the Deadnaughts, hence why I came up with the Runner.
Liam Jordan oh thanks
Liam Jordan but I saw one of those things ubered before the spiderthingy blew it up.
Liam Jordan
I'ma add and change some of the Runner bio for funzy:
Deadnaut model 8 "Runner'
-Much like Surgeon, is still in prototype stage.
They should put this in the game!!
