- I've wanted to make a video for this song since source filmmaker first came out. Unfortunately I'm a huge procrastinator. I know this song has already been done in sfm but by the time I found out about it I was already half way done with my own. I tried not to let it influence my version though.

What do you mean source material? If you mean the OG Mulan film, then sure but I thought Disney’s plan was to try and be more faithful to the original Chinese legend that the film is based off of.

They failed at that as well since OG OG Mulan was similarly about retaining family honor and using your isn unique strengths(brain when you dont have brawn, lateral thinking, etc). The remake is bad fight choreography and fanservicy chi martial arts thrown in. Honestly it's more of an insult to China since even if they have the random chi stuff, the choreography always took center stage in response to justify it through Rule of Cool.

I've waited 10 years for someone to actually make a scene where Heavy can't lift his own Minigun because it's literally over 350 Pounds.

It's over 150 Kilograms which is a pretty expectable weight for a rotatory cannon like the Heavy is wielding, feeding system included. The most common gatling gun around the time of TF2 (late 60s to early 70s) was the M61 Vulcan which weights 112 Kilograms (202 Pounds) with feeding system, the other 40+ Kilos probobaly come from all the ammo he is carrying around in the white part of Sasha (which is the ammo barrel) which should weight way more than that.

The animation, the editing, and the perfect translation of the TF2 scenario to Mulan is just perfect.
Spy`s scene in the "mysterious as the darkside of the moon" part is the most badass looking yet funny scene^^

i love how it changes from silly and quite "basic" sfm looking but when it comes to the battle wow that was amazing looking and just such a mood change love it
One thing tf2 has over overwatch. Source filmmaker and those animations can actually make you feel something instead of 2 girls in skintight clothes trying to fight each other .

You know, the song I'll make a man out of you from Mulan fits this quite good, i just love the reference that they made when engie wanted to prove that he is a man, he climbed the rocket and made it launch, just like Mulan climbed the pole to get the arrow, really nice touch.

when this happens, i will cry for weeks upon weeks.
The player base is still growing, and they make a lot of money from it. The cartoon style of the game also ensures it doesn't need to try to keep up with improving graphic technology, so the game doesn't ever look dated.

The battle scene is amazing. There is so much attention to detail and the camera movement makes everything noticable.
