It’s so refreshing to see a review of someone who doesn’t necessarily “love” the camera control but is at least open to using it . I’m tired of all this RUclipsrs having a literal meltdown because they have to learn how to use something new.
This was so informative and very clear in the presentation. I appreciate the insight. I just got the iPhone 16 pro and hope to take advantage of your information.
The New Camera Button: I often travel (for fun) by auto with my phone on a mount giving the camera a view out the windshield for those situations where there's no convenient way (or place) to stop. Often times getting the camera opened in time was a real challenge (Siri refuses to open the camera while on CarPlay) so I'd miss shots. The new camera button solves that problem completely, so in that sense huge I'm a fan of it. 😊
I have a question for you please . So let’s say you have a 13 pro and then get 16 pro would that mean the pictures on instagram come out better with the 16 pro? Or would the differences be negligible?( I don’t use zoom & don’t mind post processing in lightroom) I’ve checked the iPhone 15 pro vs 13 pro and theirs no noticeable difference in the main sensor ; although 15 pro is 48 megapixel the 13 pro has f1.5 apeture which is better than 15 pro’s f1.8 . I only use the main sensor so pls share your thoughts I don’t want to waste money
I have the 13 pro, my wife upgraded her 11 to the 15 pro. Tested the cameras compared to mine, and honestly I don’t see the point in upgrading. I use Lightroom to shoot raw and for both models it’s capped at 12mp for all the cameras. If you pixel peep you’ll notice that the dng files on the 15 pro are over sharpened by default compared to the 13 pro. I preferred the images coming out of the 13 pro with the main 1x lens. 3x were more or less the same, and 0.5x had ever so slightly better noise in lowlight, but otherwise the same… Apple raw to take advantage of 48mp is not worth the upgrade in my opinion.
@sq9779 I went from a 13 Pro to a 15 Pro and yeah, they are more detailed. Idk about the other guy but the 15 Pro is definitely a lot better than the 13 Pro. The HDR is far more consistent and also better, it crushes shadows less, you get less blown out skies, and the night mode is definitely more detailed and less mushy. The ultrawide is also far better, it has a much larger sensor as well so it's a given, and definitely gets better dynamic range and detail. The 15 Pro also shoots 48mp RAW on the main, and it's files are most definitely much better as well at just about every metric, while also looking less processed and sharpened. The 3x on the 15 Pro is also definitely improved over the 13 Pro, though the 3x does sharpen a little more in my experience, but produces better results anyway. Also note that if you're shooting RAWs via lightroom you're just circumventing any software processing anyway, so you wouldnt see the software improvements either, so yeah, the 3x would come out looking the same since it's the same lens. The main will still give you more and better depth of field with better dynamic range and the UW will mostly just be less noisy with small improvements in dynamic range. I think this is a somewhat silly metric to measure the phone camera by when ppl are buying it for the camera app it comes with, and not how it performs in lightroom...
Hey Emmett, my name is Johnny and I'm a freelance logo designer, would you love to have a new logo, custom membership badges, wallpaper and app icons packs and any kind of artworks to help scale up your branding and business opportunities? @@antoine.dutilh so are the apple raw in 15 pro pics not better and more detailed than 13 pro?

DRINK THAT COFFEE
please
The camera button is wrongly positioned. I use a cover with my phone. With the cutout it’s simple useless
Your cam looks kinda distorted. For a second I thought I was high or something.
The iPhone footage right ?
The camera switching back and forth when you're talking in your studio, it's a bit distracting.
какой смысл от мыльницы еще за 1к+ долларов😂
