I totally agree on the focal length „issue“! I used to love the 2x telephoto lens on my 12 Pro and would replace the 5x on the 16 Pro immediately for it
I've used the iPhone 15 Pro to take simpleminded 3-minute clips of music performances by small ensembles and choirs. I really love the ProRes LOG workflow. I simply ignore that the files are genormous at 4K/60. Just shoot with a cheap rig, old SanDisk 1TB SSD and Shure MV88+ mic, open in Premiere, apply the ColourLab FreeLab LUT, tweak colors a bit, export, and delete the yo-mamma-so-fat LOG files. Very smooth workflow and the results always make me smile. I'm all-in with the 15 Pro for video, not sure I can live without a good 70mm equiv lens. For tele I just go with my regular camera (R6 & EF 70-200/2.8 II). But the 16 Pro audio sounds great with the new mics and option to change the audio angle afterward.
Thank you for the video! I’m a beginner to photography it’s been catching my attention lately. With that being said I’m no expert at ALL . But I’m about to get my first ever iPhone pro max and I’m so excited! Your review helped alot
it hasnt replaced my a7riii but i definitely dont feel "ashamed" of taking pictures or video on my 13pm anymore, waited til now for the ultra wide 48mp sensor, cant believe it will probably be another 2 or 3 years until 48 on telephoto
It might be a while until I can release a new pack unfortunately. I've been working on some stuff but I have some other projects that are a priority right now :)
It's by a company called Torras, this is not sponsored or anything, I just tried a couple different brands that I didn't like until I found their cases, they are a bit more expensive but pretty solid.
If you shoot ProRaw, or shoot Halide App’s new Process Zero, it absolutely does not. The images look fantastic now. I used to agree with you, but with someone who recently upgraded from a 13 Pro… it’s sort of night and day.
the images you got are fantastic, which kinda surprises me because all i've seen so far are the "standard iphone photos" i see on my feed and most of them look like overprocessed ass

As always, an absolute joy to watch your content!
I appreciate that! Thanks for watching! 😊
Great review. Finally real people reviewing the advances and quality instead of just specs.
I appreciate that! Thanks for watching!

Would love a tutorial how you achieved the photo and video images here :)

Love your energy 🎉❤
I appreciate that!
Does this ring true for the 15 pro max 😅
Yo, so cathartic to see you comment on the included 24, 120 focal length weirdness!
Damn! Speed is really speedy.
mr futc just wondering if youre still cooking lightroom presets, i really love the ones you made i bought it twice

I would love to learn about the setup you use for your studio. Super crisp and great quallity - audio and video...Thanks!
What iPhone clear case do you use in the video?
It's by a company called Torras, this is not sponsored or anything, I just tried a couple different brands that I didn't like until I found their cases, they are a bit more expensive but pretty solid.
Which LUT did you use for color grading log videos?
Used a color space transform to go from Apple Log to Rec 709. Then used an adjusted m31 rec709 LUT
I like it a lot 😮💨🤳📱📸
I prefer using a dedicated camera because of how natural the photos appear. I don't like how smart phones over sharpen images

I agree, night and day difference!
I still like my D5300 for proper shooting 😅
I really want to purchase a Z6iii but it’s so much dang money!
As a working photographer I would say your pre set colours are a little too warm. Maybe tone them down a bit.
does the phone heat up while using camera?
yes!
the images you got are fantastic, which kinda surprises me because all i've seen so far are the "standard iphone photos" i see on my feed and most of them look like overprocessed ass
Thank you! Yeah most people just review the images straight out of the phone, but I couldn't care less about those overprocessed images haha 😄
The microphones really sound bad. I hope apple can fix this with an update. Until then i stick with my 12 pro max. 😅
"But like, in a fun way." You always make me laugh. I love your sense of humor. Also, I'll stick with my 13. :)
Thanks for watching Chris!! 😊
I thought the third camera was a zoom?
It can't. I use 645 and 6x6 analog medium format cameras. 😅
um no it cannot lets not push this idea, a proper dedicated camera with 15/16 megapixels is still better.
It can and it has already replaced :)
@@tejaskanda06 yeah if your brainless
For most people, an iPhone will be good enough to record videos
It stacks up well against other smartphones. It’s not on same level as real cameras JMO
Bro those presets are way too warm
It’s raw, so you can change the white balance to be less warm :)
i am speed !!!! ahahahahahaha
Would be cool if you filmed your talking head and b-roll with it. Unless you did.
Not a chance man. I have an iPhone 16 pro max and it’s not even close to my A7S3, R5 and R6 mark 2
first
no it can't
It's replacing cameras in a Hollywood movie right now. So you're wrong 😁
Cry about it iPhone is used everywhere now even in Hollywood
Yes it can. Stop crying
@@tejaskanda06it won’t replace proper cameras.
Yes it can..
Cry about it
Aaaaaaaaaah
You German?
The video quality is bad.
😂 someone was listening to
pick 4K instead 360p
Τhen just do it!
