I have the 15 pro max and in comparison I prefer the smaller pro phone over the Max version. I’ve got pretty big hands and the max phone annoys me sometimes.

He‘s a professional and every trained photographer can shoot good pictures with every gear. Besides that the quality of a real full frame camera will allways be better then any phone. No potrait will look better on a phone, a good landscape picture needs real tech, bokeh can’t be simulated with a phone and the files will never have the same possibilitys then the files from a real camera. If you want to shoot wildlife, a phone is completely useless
I have the impression that the sensor captures subjects faster, with the intelligence of the processor of the A 18 pro chip. because with my iPhone 14 Pro Max people when they walked, fast or bike pass in front of the sensor the blurred photo, and miss I have the impression that the chip reacts faster when we take photos with the iPhone 16 Pro.
Honestly just start with your phone, the way I learned to see more creatively is, when I’m in a location for examples a tourist spot. I look at the typical frame everyone gets then I just spend 5-10 minutes looking around through the screen of the camera / phone in different angles to see if any other compositions appear to me. Look for natural frame like shapes / or lines that lead to specific points in the frame and the try to frame your shots with a subject in that frame or on that line. I hope this helps 🙏
Very nice photo composition, but it would be nice if you took photos of him in panoramic and nature photo because you have in the way to shoot a good composition and that is important when you do computational photo with an iPhone.
