bro, this video is golden, ill show it to all my friend ahha, you deserve so much more, thanks tho, i took my first photo on my 16 pro and it looks good.
Nice quick informative video, I can tell you know how to take good pictures. You should have probably included in the camera settings to choose ProRAW MAX > JPEG-XL Lossy.
@@saulbosscr based on the outlines it creates when you hold down "Alt" ("Option" on Mac) on your keyboard while adjusting the mask of the sharpness. If you're using Lightroom Mobile you can press and hold on your photo while adjusting the mask slider.
Thanks for posting! I had my iphone 16 Pro Max delivered today... can't wait to get out shooting with it! I have a degree in photography.. graduated in 2020, but I haven't done much photography since graduating. Hoping to get back out there and start shooting again on a regular basis. Thanks again! :)
I was so surprised when you talking about hitting 100 subscribers, with the quality and effort put into this I would have thought you had at least 100k or a million subscribers. Keep up the amazing work you're going to do great things
I got the 16 pro in natural titanium 1tb. I filmed an unboxing and first impressions on my channel. So far this phone has been comfortable in my hands and the camera quality is perfection, lol.
Yes Sir! ProRAW will allow you to edit much better and get a more professional look (make sure to use Lightroom, it transforms the image way different and better than apples photos app)
I’d recommend standard mode 90% of the time… I use Telephoto for portraits because it makes the model and the background look better. For low light or if you want/need 48 megapixel use the standard lens. Good luck shooting sir
I have a question for you please . So let’s say you have a 13 pro and then get 16 pro would that mean the pictures on instagram come out better with the 16 pro? Or would the differences be negligible?( I don’t use zoom )
Hey great question! The iPhone 13 Pro and 16 Pro both support RAW, but the 16 Pro has better low-light performance and image processing, which means your photos can look a sharper and more detailed. On Instagram, though, the compression makes the difference less noticeable. But if you want the absolute best shots, the 16 Pro is still an upgrade. Thanks for watching and taking interest
If your are planing on transferring the photos to other devices use most compatible otherwise high efficiency is fine too. (HEIF is apples codec and jpg you already probably now is just the most used photo codec)
3:53 honestly I like the original photo here because the edited one is a bit too contrasty and over exposed. The original one looks natural and pleasing. No offense

Not all devices, software, or websites support HEIF/HEVC. You might run into problems when transferring files to older devices or non-Apple systems. But you are right for most people it probably won’t matter…
Absolutely wrong. As a photographer of 20 years I can confidently tell you, you have no idea what you’re talking about. Yes a DSLR/mirrorless camera has a bigger and better sensor but I’ve sold hundreds of images shot on an iPhone. The guy in the video shows you the difference between knowing what you are doing and not. I bet I could take a better photo with my 16 pro max than you could on a several thousand pound camera. I don’t want that to sound big headed but it’s true. It’s the skill and knowledge built up over decades and not just about the glass you use.
@@naturalmosaic Yes, it's the skill and knowledge that is the most important, which makes the difference. Still, the DSLR wins, personal experience and my opinion. Your opinion might defer and I respect that. The iPhone takes good photos, can't deny, but shots on a professional camera, even though it might cost less than a smartphone (several pounds) is far way better. The things shown in the video are just basic things. I shoot with professional gear in manual mode...

Woww❤ great video man😅
Thank you sir😁💪🏼
Nice 👌🏽 work
This video is amazing, im just getting into editing photos. But i found that Lightroom doesn’t allow me to edit raw videos… how can I get around this
Raw videos? Lightroom is mainly a Photo editing app.
Ever considered editing on a Pc? (if so I’d recommend davinci resolve for video) good luck
Love from india ❤️
Nice ❤❤❤❤
Bro try to make a Lightroom colour coding video please.
I saved this video for later
remember me when you get famous
🤝
What is the difference between editing in LR or directly in the photos app? You showed the same adjustments you get in the photos app
if you shoot ProRAW the image will turn out completely different because photos app just ignores the data while Lightroom processes it nicely
@@lennymarti thanks!

@lennymarti thank you what format size do you recommend using for photos when it's proraw?
@jarradharding778 Vertical : 3:4 / or were you asking for something else?
@@lennymartii mesn the high efficiency or most compatible option. What's the best one to have turned on for photos?
@jarradharding778 oh my mistake, most compatible. I mention that in the video under Settings, feel free to watch that segment again:)
should I use portrait mode or just the standard mode, and which camera is the best, the normal or telephoto?
I’d recommend standard mode 90% of the time…
I use Telephoto for portraits because it makes the model and the background look better. For low light or if you want/need 48 megapixel use the standard lens. Good luck shooting sir

Any free app to edit photos?
Lightroom is free just gotta click the x in the top right corner in the beginning:)
Only downside with PRORAW is the file size… it’s massive.
