I grew up with John and I can tell you his whole family is cut from the same tree-they are all decent, God-fearing folks.

Yes you are so right on that, in my opinion country music went in the shutter in 1981, there's just a few exceptions, like,Dwight, Sawyer brown , maybe a couple others, today's country has no creativity of any kind, lyrically, vocally and musically

John is so unique. He invented the word 'swangin' ...right on the front porch. Love his music.
That’s one of those songs that you just love the first time you hear it, and let’s face it, John has the perfect voice to pull it off and make it a classic because nobody sounds like this guy. You may not know the song but you damn sure know who’s singing it. I love to listen to this guy and own lots of his music including his last album released which is very good!
He actually help build the newer grand ole Oprery in Nashville now he had probably had did already have songs written and did some recording what about all the let's say average really good songs he recorded like chicken truck and um 1959 get somebody else to drive u could on and on

I saw him at the clay co. fair, sittin on the front row, he is a wonderful singer...and a nice man...I was running late, and walking in it felt like everybody was watching me ..he noticed that and looked down at me and smiled and said 'Well we can get started now, everybody here". He turn an embarrassing moment into a great memory. Thank you.

Ole florida country boy is the truth. I'm so proud of my heritage as a north florida southern man. My roots is a couple hundred years old in fl and it kills me to see all the folks moving on on fl and on old country music.
Wow, What an awesome amazing singer. I would love to see John Anderson make a comeback with a number one CD of all time. He deserves it more then anyone I know. I had the pleasure of seeing him perform before he hit the charts, At a nightclub in Florida. I knew he would someday make it. A few months later I walking though a Sears store in Volusia county Florida. There was wall full of Tv's playing..John Anderson was on every tv. Singing An Old Junk Of Cole. Wow, I was right I thought. He made it. God Bless You My Friend. The rest is history. God Bless John Anderson.

My favorite John Anderson tune! I saw him perform twice. The second time, about 26 years ago, I was able to meet John & speak to him! He was very nice & easy to talk to! Just a regular guy! Miranda James opened for him. She was a sweetheart, & was nice enough to pose with my cousin for a photo! If I recall, I think she gave him a kiss on the cheek! I had a great time that night!
