@@SamHollandI am definitely looking forward to exploring more of your channel and I am sure I will love your newer content too 😅. You know, your videos are good but your replies are even better, I read many of your comments and they make me like you as a person, lol if that makes sense.
Hi. Thanks so much 🙏🏻 this was my first proper RUclips video so I hope it helped. I have lots of videos about softboxes so it might be worth checking those out too 🙏🏻 Thanks for watching 🎥
Hello from Kyiv Ukraine. I use Ambitful deep parabolic soft boxes. I have the 2 x 90cm and 2 x 120cm. They come with 2 diffusion panels and a grid is optional. They come fully assembled and use the quick set up and collapse mechanism the same as Apurture but they are a lot cheaper and the quality is exactly the same. The 120cm with grid and a bag cost £100. I have tried a few different brands but these seem to be the best and I have been using them for 1 year already.
awesome review! I've got the aputure mini 2 with it but also comes with a grid so lest see how soft light i get. Unfortunately don't have the room for a larger softbox. Question: can you control 2 separate lights with the one remote controller?
Thank you! I try to bring value to beginners and intermediate videographers and share what I learn as I go along. Thanks for watching and commenting 🤩🙏🏻🎥
Hi Sam, nice work. And yes, I use 3 of these in the studio from time to time, really bright, with the umbrella type diffusers, which are quicker and easier to set up. Also try the globe diffusers too. Regards Andy.
THREE!!?? HAHA Crikey! I'm surprised there's any room left in your RUclips studio these days with all that gear! :D Yeah the Godox is amazing for the price. Super impressed. Cheers
Thanks for sharing Sam, ordering mine now. I was using a diffuser in front of an 18" ring light and sometimes in front of an 8" panel so it's time to upgrade. You helped me make the final decision. Cheers!
Sam Holland you’re welcome. I’ll be sure to subscribe since you’re style of video is appealing and informative yet personable. Cheers to growing your channel and subs👍🏾

@@SamHolland I watched all 3 videos, but I couldn't find if on the SL60W changing the Kelvin on the remote, actually is doing something. On my SL60W I don't see any change. Thx
Great Video. Love you and the dog. It's quite enjoyable to watch you be normal and natural. I am going to buy this and the Laofas because of you. Thank you. Keep making these videos. :)
Sweet! Are you going for it then? Might be worth watching my 5 month later review also BUT basically in a nutshell I still love this light. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

Hey! 🤩 you’ll love the godox light! So good! Let me know what you think to it... I have another video about it on the way!! Thank you for your nice comment and thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Hi Paul! Thanks so much for tuning in and commenting 🙏🏻 it’s much appreciated. I’m pleased you found it helpful. The SL60w is an amazing light and I’m sure you’ll be well happy with it. See you soon! Stay safe 💪🏻🎥
I am actually looking for a softbox suitable for the Godox SL 60W. Will be grateful if you can recommend something in the average of 100 to 150 USD. Thank you
Hey man! Just bought mine and it’s incredible. Thanks for this video! I wanted to ask if your remote only work when you turn on the Godox from the rear button as well? Also, on mine it seems that the intensity from 10 to 100% doesn’t work at all when I push the buttons. Is it something that I’m missing? Maybe I don’t make something right. When controlling the light from behind the unit, everything works fine.
Hey man that’s awesome! Glad you liked it. Yeah you can set the kelvin to 5600 and then you can control the light from 10-100 on the remote. I hope that helps thanks for watching 🙏🏻
i ordered the 32" octagon soft box from newer and it comes with a grid, cant wait to see how big it is. great point about set up, gonna have to find a way to convince my mom to let me leave my set up in the living room.. probably not gonna happen lol. great video, sub'd!

Hey bro. Thanks for watching! Before you do, it might be worth checking out my 5 month later review as I discuss a few points that I would keep in mind. I love the light. Let me know what you end up doing. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻🤩
Thank you 🤩 I do love camera gear! What do you think to the Godox light? I have a 5 month later review if you haven’t seen it yet and I’m also just about to start filming some lighting tutorials with the Godox! 🙏🏻 Thanks for watching
Thank you 🙏🏻 I use a combination. I think at this time it would have been the aputure panel lights. Amorans or something and the andycine R1 led light. But my fav is the falconeyes F7 fold. Works with an app and great battery etc. I did a video on it on RUclips. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻🤩🎥
Hi Sam, subbed! I am planning to get this light, as well as a softbox, although I am planning on shooting outdoors as well on certain situations ( we are a 3 member band and started doing our own music videos), wondering if this light + a softbox you can recommend as well as any external power source to go along with it to make it portable? Thank you again for your content!
Hi. Thank you for watching and subbing. Much appreciated 🤩🙏🏻 Godox have a few battery powered light options available. But you’d need to go for something a little more powerful to make sure you get enough brightness when filming outside. Alternatively something like a generator would do for powering a light. Check out my video about filming outdoors. You could always use some flag panel reflectors to help instead of lights depending on what you’re after. Let me know if that video helps or if you have any other questions 🙏🏻
hey sam, you can buy diffusion paper and clip it to the barn doors on your aputure light from the beginning of the video. this will help save space and soften the light.
Tyler Thrower Hi Tyler. Thanks for the comment 🤩 yeah I do that sometimes but I wanted that extra bright but soft light source. Also... the Aputure light dome 2 comes with a honeycomb grid which gets rid of that spill into the background and sides (video to come very soon) :) thanks for watching!
Really good video! The lighting looks good, I'm still nervous cause you said there's fan noise. Even at 25% the fan is already on? It doesn't turn on at a certain power only? Re: your comment, you cant change the kelvin, it says in the product manual that you need to set it to whatever version you're using since they only made one remote for both.
That’s right. The fan is always on. I’ve since been using the SL150II and that has a silent fan mode which is incredible. Thanks for your comment 🙏🏻 and thanks for watching 🎥🎥
Hey! Check out my Godox 150ii vs 60w video and see what you think. Might be worth going for the 150 but it all depends how much light you need. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻🎥
I been watch lots of reviews on lights these days from some well knows peoples here on youtube, but watching this was amazing, You are showing the problems and explaining in detail so new peoples that actually don't know alot about light and soft boxes can follow what you are trying to say, But i really hated the video before 13 minuets, if you wanna show the hassle you can do that but 13 minuets is alot, I hit sub Cuz i believe you videos will get better in future, again Great Video
Hi. I’m pleased you found this video helpful. Thanks for the feedback. Yes this is an old video of mine, one of my first. Hopefully I have improved 😂 Thanks for watching 🙏🏻🎥🤩
This light ....what would you say its primary use would be in video shoots ?......To light maybe from small products to medium size products and half shots of people at the max ?? Cant be used to light spaces and brighten rooms up for a video shoot right ?
This light is very nice! I have the same light, so I use it a lot. The amount of light is also strong, so it is useful when shooting. The video was very interesting. I will come to play again. With love from Japan :)
I so much like your setup. Very simple.... I think I’ll replicate this 😉😉😉... and oh the temp values on the remote are for other godox SL products...cheers mate
Sam Holland I haven’t ordered yet. It’s out of stock in my country. Hopefully it restocks soon. Otherwise I’d have to find an alternative (buy online) Amazon shipping and tax is expensive
Sam Holland I just ordered on B&H photo together with the Samson G track Pro 🎙 . In place of the neewer softbox I got the Godox P90H. Hopefully I get it in 7 business days Max. (Soft box will take longer). I’ll review as well. Kindly subscribe to my channel for updates on both items and more
this arrived yesterday with a light dome mini. I'm impressed with it. its great, my only concern is the cable doesn't feel secure in the back of the light, kind of wobbles a lot. Do you get this problem also? Cheers ✌🏼
Hey! 🤩 Thats exciting!! I love the lightdome mini!! It’s so compact! Oh no that’s strange. There is a little bit of play in the cable but seems normal and secure. Mine is the C13 style UK cable. Maybe just keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn’t cut out if you move it. Or send it back for another one? Let me know what happens 🙏🏻
Can you give some examples of the Iso values with certain apertures and Shutterspeed like 1/50 or 1/100 at 100% intensity? Is it bright enough for low Iso?
Hi Nigel. Thanks for watching. I usually film on ISOs of between 100 and 400. Just switched to the Canon EOS R so will be filming between 200-400 depending on the lens. I always use the 180 rule for the shutter speed so if I'm filming at 24/25 frames I'll use 50 shutter speed. The light is usually between 75-100% and if quite close to me. I was also using the heavier diffusion and will be switching to the lighter stuff to have a bit more brightness. I hope this helps. :) What will be the main use for you?
@@SamHolland I make aquascaping videos (aquarium stuff). For that I already have light on top of the tank. I need a key light to light up my footage outside of the aquarium on a table. Mostly b roll stuff of products I use. I do have 2 cheap Chinese floodlights at home, but heard the CRI is not optimal for video work. What I hate is that I already have 2 godox pop up soft boxes which I use with my Speedlites on a bowens mount. Unfortunately this light doesn't fit in my current softboxes with bowens mount in the Speedlite bracket clamp. So I have to buy another softbox (I would love to use my pop up ones because it's much easier to store and use quickly when I need it) .. Maybe you know any strong useable lights that are tiny that they fit in a speedlite bracket? Otherwise maybe invest in a set of the godox sl60w. Just need to be sure that it is an improvement over my current 2x floodlights total 9000 lumens. I don't have softbox currently on my floodlights just some sheets (1 layer on top) to make it a little softer/diffused. Thanks in advance and nice video!
Just checked out your channel. Looks good to me. You're clearly into your production too. Honestly I haven't used many lights in the past without a Bowens mount. The only thing I can think of is if you use your lights and get one of these, amzn.to/319Y5Os and shine the light through the filter. That worked for me. You'd also need a stand to mount it on. Hope that gives you something to think about. :)
Adam Bond Thanks for watching and commenting bro! I’m pleased you enjoyed the video. Let me know if there’s anything Else you’d want to know about :) got some more videos coming soon! Stay tuned
Sam Holland Hi Sam! I’d love to know more about how to progress from all the settings on a camera being in auto mode, to using manual settings like shutter speed, iso, focus. and audio gain. I’m so reliant on the auto features of my camera.
@@adambond8540 Hi Adam. Thanks for the comment. Sam Holland looking at picking one up. Thinking about getting my RUclips channel back up. From what I see, the SL60W looks like a solid alternative to the 120d and I might get it. Hopefully you’re staying safe too 😊
That’s great! 🤩 I’ll check out your channel. 📺 The only thing I mention in that other video that is a slight downfall (in my opinion) is that it’s not bright enough for when shooting at higher shutter speeds or slow motion when you need the extra light. Other than that, I love it!! Still perfectly fine and that’s just me being picky. For the price it is incredible. Thanks bro 🙏🏻
Sam Holland mmmm yeah just finished watching that video.. some great points. I’ll have a bit more thinking before getting it. Haha the channel was really bad back then. Have a few ideas 💡 for the upcoming future. Maybe it’ll be worth checking out then 😅
@@SamHolland Naa, I don't have it but a friend has. With your review, everything is same except that it has battery attached which the B in SLB 60W stands for ...
@@X1014real AHHH yeah that is very handy! I'm doing an outdoor shoot tonight and it would have been handy rather than taking an extension with us. :) Have a great day!!
Thanks that's so useful. I also wonder about other soft boxes that are more affordable, retractable and easy to store that can work with these light... I don't have a lot of space! thanks
Hi thanks so much for watching and commenting. I have some videos about softboxes here... ruclips.net/video/GWjf7Xh3_yA/видео.html And here ruclips.net/video/uAEx3lPhMPo/видео.html I recommend the laofas for the price because they’re amazing. Hi 🤩 Thank you. I’m pleased you enjoyed the video. Yeh the battery version would be handy when you’re filming on location and don’t have power. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻 stay safe
Bro! Thank you for this video - just purchased the SL60W myself and waiting for the softbox to come in. Wanting to see what I can do with this, along with my two panel lights. Some hilarious moments in this video as well. 😂
@@SamHolland For sure! I ended up going with the same softbox to be cost efficient. Not looking forward to assembling it but it's going to be stationary in my office. 👍
Hey man! Brilliant review. I had my eyes on this light and this review just convinced me to make the purchase. Also you’re very funny which was entertaining to watch. So bonus points for that, haha! Two questions: 1) Would you choose some cheap 2 kit light with softboxes like Hakutatz over this Godox? and 2) Could I get around with an umbrella when using this Godox light?
Hey man! Thank you 🤩🙏🏻 I’m pleased you enjoyed the video. Personally I would choose having good 1 light and a decent softbox over two cheaper options. I’ve had some of those cheaper options before and although they were great to get started, I found a better quality light and softbox more versatile. Having said that, it also depends on what you can afford and id never be a snob or turn my nose up and anything. I think you could use an umbrella if you have the space in front of the light. I hope this helps 🙏🏻 thanks again for watching
cool Video Sam. I have a similar softbox and you can un-flap the back of it to reach your hand inside, making it much easier to attach the softbox to the light. Great video. The fan noise doesn't bother me at all either.
Awthentik Ah which one have you got? I’ve got the aputure light dome 2 now with the flaps and it’s so much easier than what I was trying before in this video 😂 yeh I barely notice the fan. It’s a great light isn’t it. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻🎥
@@SamHolland love the light! I'm an audio engineer by day, and the fan isn't a problem at all. I got the 38" Glow EZ Lock Deep Parabolic Quick Softbox. Thing is huge and the one downfall on the light is the latch to lock it in position. If you have a heavy softbox, it will definitely loosen and till down. I'm looking to find somethings at home depot, maybe some extra washers or something to keep it nice and snuggy tight.
@@Awthentik That will definitely work. I used to put washers in mic stands that weren't as tight anymore and it works a treat. Good idea for the light too.
Hey. I think it’s great for that sort of thing but if you want the option of a little extra brightness and you have it in your budget to spend a little more, I’m reviewing the new Godox SL150ii next week. Might be interesting to see what that’s like. Having said that, the SL60w has always been perfect so far. Just a little on the dark side when using higher frame rates
@@SamHolland thanks Sam. I usually use Aputure 300d which give me the ability to set the light back a bit with a softbox because of its output. If this 150 is decent maybe I'll look at that.
bauljgd Hey. Thanks for watching and the comment. I have used slow mo lots and it’s been fine but I’ll test other settings today for you and let you know. What frame rate are you using?? 🙏🏻🎥
Yeah it’s a great light! I love it. Well I was using the Sony A7iii here and the focus was all over the place. I now use the Canon eos R and am so glad I switched 😂 Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻
Did you also het the light standard with the godox or do i need to buy it seperately? And how is the noise of the fan, is it really annoying or can you deal with it?
Hey bro. I had to purchase the stand separately. I’ve left a few options in the description below for you to check out. Personally I think the fan noise isn’t too bad as I have a shotgun mic close to where I speak so it doesn’t pick up any of the fan noise. But it all depends on your set up really. My ninja v monitor fan is probably louder to be honest. Hope this video helps. Sorry I can’t be more specific with the fan noise. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
@@SamHolland thanks for the quick respond! really am looking for a good set of gear to start my own video company, and I want to start out with 1 key light being an alternative to the aputure 120D, and a second (back) light which will be a small pocket aputure led panel. Loved the video btw!
You’re welcome. 🤩 I try to reply when I can. Did you see my 5 months later video about the Godox? That might be worth watching. I think the sl60w is an amazing light for the price but when doing slow motion, I would like a little extra power so maybe one of the other higher output Godox lights is worth looking at. That way it may be more versatile for your productions. It all depends what you’re doing more of. Thanks again for watching. Let me know if you have any other questions 🙏🏻🎥💪🏻

Hey Sam, great review. Watched the whole video. I'm a beginner doing product photography & video commercials. I used to use really fiddly cheap lights $30 bucks from China, but the tripod stand didn't held onto the lights/softbox really well and broke. I'm looking to buy a new better setup. The Godox SL60W seemed to fit my budget, the neewer soft box seemed too fiddly to install, and I can't leave it on, as I have a very tiny packed apartment/room. So I need more portability. Can you recommend me some good quality lighting setup? Thanks!
Hey. Thanks for watching and well done for sticking through the whole video 😂 that’s amazing. Yes I can recommend some options. Check out my video on the softbox comparison. I compare the aputure lightdome 2, the mini and a more affordable (collapsable) Neewer option. That’s worth a watch. And I also have some stands links in my descriptions. Hope that helps. Let me know 🙏🏻🎥
Do use the reflector when you put the Softbox ? Do I need to buy the light with reflector or without it ? Because I found some seller have the light without the reflector for only $90 Thank you
RakanDop Hi. Thanks for watching and commenting... I don’t use the reflector when using the soft box as it used the Bowen’s mount and can’t fit both on at the same time. Let me know how you get on. Links are below so you can see which ones I got. 🙏🏻🎥🤩
Sam Holland Thank you for replying , have you used only reflector in some situation? because i'm wondering if I will buy the light with reflector or without it
RakanDop Yeah. I use it sometimes in the frame for certain shots! It looks cool. Plus it works well if you want to illuminate a large area! But it’s personal taste. If you think you’ll need it one day (and you have the money) go for it :)
Hey! That’s great! 🤩🎥 So pleased you like it too... did you also get a sausage dog? 😂 Thanks for the update and happy filming! Stay tuned for some tutorials on lighting next week 🙏🏻🎬
I literally LOL when you go to RUclips for instructions on the soft box. Good Video. Except for my Siri going off lol. You got a sub from me bro. Keep em coming.
Garrett Davis 😃 What would be the main use for it? If it’s just a size thing, the aputure light dome mini 2 is a great option. You don’t get as soft shadows as the larger ones but it just depends on space. I did a video also about the light dome 2. I haven’t tried any alternative brands though unfortunately
Raj Kumar Hey. Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻 I was at around 25% there and the ISO was around 100-200. I was at f/1.8 on the camera. Are you going to get one??
You may have figured this out already, but if you open the velcro slot in the side and grab the male bowens mount bit through there while installing modifiers on your light, you'll have a much better time than reaching through the front or phoning a friend.
Do you know if there is a significant difference from this to the NEEWER SL60w? the Name and look is identical and they go for roughly the same price on amazon. Seems to me like the same product with a different brand sticker on it. Anyone know the difference?
Hi. Yeah from what I’ve heard it’s the exact same product. I think different ones are available in different countries. Other than that, they’re the same. Hope that helps. Are ya gonna try one? Thanks for watching 🤩
Hey! 🤩 Thanks for watching the video and for the sub etc! It’s much appreciated 🙏🏻 the Neewer softbox was the 36” / 90cm version. I now use the Aputure lightdome 2 but am testing out a smaller Neewer this weekend and the lightdome mini 2 also 🤩 Stay tuned for the comparisons. Happy filming 🎥
@@SamHolland Awesome! I'm looking forward to those comparisons. Yesterday I ordered a Godox SL-60W with a 42" Neewer light box. Now, after watching your video, I'm thinking that I overdid with the size of the lightbox 🤔

Cheers!

Hi Sam, thanks for sharing. Did you find out if you can change the Kelvin? Thanks.
Hi. Yeah it’s just a set temperature. I’ve done a few more reviews on this since and some comparisons to the sl150ii if that helps. Thanks for watching 🤩🙏🏻👌🏻
Thank you 🙏🏻🤩 I hope you enjoy the new gear! Thanks for watching 🎥
Thanks to you i bought it!!

daan de koning Hey. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻 Let me know how you get on with the light! Thank you. Next video will be out very soon! 🤩🎥📺
Cheers for the advice, been looking at the light but didn't think to pair with the Aputure light dome. 👍
Sweet! Are you going for it then? Might be worth watching my 5 month later review also BUT basically in a nutshell I still love this light. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
@@SamHolland yes probably. first light and only started looking at it as I have a gym promo to do. can't afford the Aputure 120 and stumbled on your vid. good stuff 👍

Haha thank you 🤩😂 I’m pleased you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching. Hope it helped. I have another Godox video coming soon 🎥🙏🏻🤩 have a great day
@@SamHolland very happy to hear! Comes right in time too... I'm due a new light, and might I say the Godox is deffo top of my list (may or may not be because of all your dope and thorough reviews 😅💸)
😂 well my channel is pretty much built on Godox videos 😂 you can’t go wrong to be fair. Only a few things to consider: cost, size, or brightness. There’s one for all 🤩🎥😂🙏🏻
real professional video, helped i got one for myself and by the way you deserve a lot more subs
Hi Priyanka 🤩 So pleased this video helped. Have you tried your light yet, or just ordered it? Thank you 🙏🏻 and thanks for watching. Stay safe 🎥
@@SamHolland hi i have just ordered it, havent got the delivery yet. i have a question for you did you try the lamp cover as spotlight i make. music videos so it would be very useful if it can be used like that
Hey. You must be excited to receive the light 🤩 yeah I love that about it. It looks so good. I want to get another so I can use one with a softbox and one with the lamp cover 😂
@@SamHolland yep very excited 😃 i did not buy any softbox and aperture is very expensive... Will buy something cheaper and of course easy to assemble.

Hi, amazing review! Would you please place the link of the softbox? Thank you 😊
Hi. Thanks for watching. Here’s the link for the softbox ... geni.us/A2NT
Appreciate the quick reply. However that softbox is LIGHTDOMEII not Neewer in the video.
I am actually looking for a softbox suitable for the Godox SL 60W. Will be grateful if you can recommend something in the average of 100 to 150 USD.
Thank you
Sorry about that. Here you go - geni.us/MAFM6
Hi. There’s also this... ruclips.net/video/uAEx3lPhMPo/видео.html

Well that's it... You sold me on this light! Thanks for the great video.
Hey bro. Thanks for watching! Before you do, it might be worth checking out my 5 month later review as I discuss a few points that I would keep in mind. I love the light. Let me know what you end up doing. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻🤩

Sam Holland I just ordered the light! Can't wait for more videos!
Awesome! 🤩 that’s exciting! Let me know what you think to it when it arrives! Happy filming 🎥🙏🏻
nice video lad! what lights are you using to light up your background in color? :) greetings
1:51 - Lol, that's exactly my setup. 77D with the 24mm pancake and the Rode Video Micro
Dani Ifrim Awesome setup. Filmed so many cool things with that camera before the EOS R. Do you love it? 🎥 Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻
Also... the Aputure light dome 2 comes with a honeycomb grid which gets rid of that spill into the background and sides (video to come very soon) :) thanks for watching!
thanks mate ; what size is too big ? what size is the modifier in this clip ?
Really good video! The lighting looks good, I'm still nervous cause you said there's fan noise. Even at 25% the fan is already on? It doesn't turn on at a certain power only?
Re: your comment, you cant change the kelvin, it says in the product manual that you need to set it to whatever version you're using since they only made one remote for both.
That’s right. The fan is always on. I’ve since been using the SL150II and that has a silent fan mode which is incredible. Thanks for your comment 🙏🏻 and thanks for watching 🎥🎥
How is the output and quality? Is this good enough for bouncing light without having it a foot away from your talent?
You’re right. I compare it to the sl150ii in another video. It’s an amazing light for bedroom use and small products but not great for slow motion etc
@@SamHolland > Thanks mate. What would you suggest to brighten up a 200 sqft room ? I can fire bare to the ceiling to get diffusion.
This light is very nice!
I have the same light, so I use it a lot.
The amount of light is also strong, so it is useful when shooting.
The video was very interesting. I will come to play again.
With love from Japan :)

KodjoEdem Hey. Thank you! Pleased you like the setup. Thanks for watching bro! Have you got the godox?
Sam Holland I haven’t ordered yet. It’s out of stock in my country. Hopefully it restocks soon. Otherwise I’d have to find an alternative (buy online) Amazon shipping and tax is expensive
KodjoEdem oh no. Let me know if you finally get one :) hopefully you don’t have to wait too long!

Sam Holland thanks man. I’m using it later for a film test so will let you know ✌️

Very entertaining video man! Enjoyed it haha 🙏🏼

Bro! Thank you for this video - just purchased the SL60W myself and waiting for the softbox to come in. Wanting to see what I can do with this, along with my two panel lights. Some hilarious moments in this video as well. 😂
Hey! That’s awesome!! 🤩 let me know what you think to it when you give it a try. Which softbox did you go for? Thank you watching! 🙏🏻
@@SamHolland For sure! I ended up going with the same softbox to be cost efficient. Not looking forward to assembling it but it's going to be stationary in my office. 👍
Ah that’s awesome! Still a great softbox! You’ll be pleased with it for the price I have no doubt! Enjoy it my friend 🤩🙏🏻🎥
Great video friend! Thanks for this review. I’ll be sure to use your links if I buy it
Dillon Johnson Hey Dillon! Great 🤩 Thank you bro and thanks for watching. Let me know how you get on with it if you do buy it 🙏🏻🎥
Omg your dog!!!!!!!!! Subscribed!!!
Haha thank you! 🤩🙏🏻🎥
cool Video Sam.
Sam Holland I’ll let you know how it goes.
@@AwthentikandTheBeard YES Please do!
thanks for the review, I really appreciate your efforts to set it all
You’re very welcome! Thank you for watching 🙏🏻 Stay safe
Do you reckon this would be enough power for corporate interviews ?
Let me know what happens 🤩🎥
Thanks for the upload. Can you tell me if you see any flickering in the video if shooting fast shutter slow mo videos?
bauljgd Hey. Thanks for watching and the comment. I have used slow mo lots and it’s been fine but I’ll test other settings today for you and let you know. What frame rate are you using?? 🙏🏻🎥

Do you have any recommendation for a carrying case or any kind of bag for this light?
Great light. Thanks for the video man. Just curious. What aperture do you use? I think your nose is blurry.
Yeah it’s a great light! I love it. Well I was using the Sony A7iii here and the focus was all over the place. I now use the Canon eos R and am so glad I switched 😂 Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻
I don't think the SL60 is bi-temperature, so it doesn't change the kelvin.
Let me know if you have any other questions 🙏🏻🎥💪🏻
pull the slots at the back and u can hold it then mount it while the light is on the stand

Sam Holland you're completely right , Have a good day.
RakanDop Cheers bro! Have a good day! Let me know how you get on with the light. Stay tuned brotha
Is it pure white or slightly off in your opinion?
I came here for the review, stayed for the dog
Everyone loves Wilbur 😂 I also did a 5 month later review if that helps 🙏🏻 Thanks for watching 🎥
@@SamHolland OK now I'm scared cause I bought the light after watching this vid lol. I'll check the other one
Don’t be scared! 😂 It’s an amazing light. You won’t regret it. Let me know what you think to it when it arrives 🙏🏻 Happy filming 🎥
@@SamHolland the light arrived today and I liked it. Thanks for the review
Garrett Davis 😂 Haha yeh I’ve gotten in trouble with loads of people for setting the Siri off. Sorry! Haha. Thanks for watching and subscribing!!
@@SamHolland thank you for making the videos. I am looking for a smaller soft box for the godox. Any suggestions?
Garrett Davis 😃 What would be the main use for it? If it’s just a size thing, the aputure light dome mini 2 is a great option. You don’t get as soft shadows as the larger ones but it just depends on space. I did a video also about the light dome 2. I haven’t tried any alternative brands though unfortunately
How and where are you suppose to attach an umbrella to this thing?
Could you please share your iso and godox % level around the 11:25 min mark? Ty! Nice review.
Raj Kumar Hey. Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻 I was at around 25% there and the ISO was around 100-200. I was at f/1.8 on the camera. Are you going to get one??
Sam Holland yes I will! Ty again. 🤙
@@RajKumar-gg2ig You're welcome. Let me know how you get on.
Hey Sam. What size Neewer softbox is that?
Great video man! just got mine! Going to set it up today.. Question for you.. did you shoot in 24fps or 60fps?
Hey. Thanks for watching. Let me know how you get on with the light and what you think. I shot in 24 for the talking and 60 for the B roll.
4:46 minutes into it - and I have already decided to purchase this.
🥳 woo! I hope you enjoy using it 🤩🙏🏻🎥
loved it want to buy too man
It’s awesome. Have you seen my comparison between this and the SL150ii? Thanks for watching 🎥🙏🏻
@@SamHolland sure will watch :)
Let me know what you think between the two
"For God sake stupid out of focus Sony" LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!! That was golden! I subbed right there!
😂😂 Thanks bro! Let’s hope the new Sony is better. Thanks for watching and subbing 🙏🏻
You may have figured this out already, but if you open the velcro slot in the side and grab the male bowens mount bit through there while installing modifiers on your light, you'll have a much better time than reaching through the front or phoning a friend.
😂 where were you when I filmed this video?! Haha thanks for watching bro 🙏🏻
Great video. I watched it through the end. You got my like and Sub! What size was that lightbox, btw?
Woah that is a biggie! BUT it will get super soft shadows which will be nice 👌🏻 if you’ve got the space, why not! Looking forward to watching your videos properly. They look super! 🤩🎥
@@SamHolland Thanks Sam! As long as it fits, I should be able to manage it. Looking forward to filming with some good light!
Let me know what you think to it when it arrives! 🤩
Deserves a comment, just to say I loved the video, really helped me, that SOFTBOX IS HUGE, I dont have that kind of space ha ha
What a legend!! 🤩 Thank you 🙏🏻 check out my video on the softbox comparison video. That might have some options for you 🎥👌🏻
is that the 90cm or 120cm soft box?
It’s the 120cm 🎥
What stand do you purchase to hold that light?
Hi Mindy
I use either this one geni.us/SF2J6JP which is a heavy duty one. Or this one which is a little more affordable if you don’t need a boom -
geni.us/fmvU4N
Hope this helps. Thanks for watching 🤩🙏🏻🎥
