i actually have the vm22 on my tao tao 125cc dirtbike works great about a month in and it still works i recommend getting it if you want a little more power and not the knock off one
So, having the same issues with mine currently! Got the idle screw set and taped up, but you said the slide of the carb was the other issue. What did you do for that?

air leak or you just need to tune it, also check if the needle is all the way in
a lot of the times they aren't pushed all the way down.
I have a question on how do you tune the carb because I have the same problem and I just can’t figure it out?

Adjust it also make sure u use the bigger intake that comes with if urs is the smaller one stock
You should tune the carb for that particular engine before you complain that it's not right. The v22 carb is ubiquitous and used for many engines.

My new carb wouldn't idle right out of the box either had to adjust it several times.
