I've owned two of these FoxBody T-Birds - a 1980 Thunderbird Town Landau which was loaded to the hilt with digital instrumentation, power seats, etc. I also had a 1980 Thunderbird base that was an odd clucker with vinyl seats, power windows, and digital instrumentation. I now own a 1981 Mercury Cougar XR7 with original 34K on it and looks and drives like it came off the showroom floor.
From 1980 to 82 the Thunderbird was dressed up from a Ford Fairmont. In 1983 the new Ford Thunderbird and Mercury Cougar was introduced and became a great seller. Ford Motor company 1975- 2005 , Sharonville Ohio plant.

Always like hearing from someone who built cars, thanks
That was basically my high school car in the 90s. It had the 5.0 and cost me $200 at a local car auction. Like a mini limousine. 😮
I'd get that thing and put a 351 in it. Be a great sleeper.
100%% approve of your chubby on this one
The small Ford V8 of that year I think was 255 cubic inches. As I recall that was a gas crunch era.
It's a 255.
