I have spent a lot of money and tried so many medications, endless medical treatments, supplements, exercises, shoes. Some things work sometimes and don’t other times. or don’t work at all. I find for me it depends on the days, the weather, the food I eat, and the stress and how relaxed my body and mind are.
It’s very relative. What is a constant factor is my chronic pain. That I can can count on! 😔
Stretches and yoga poses are beneficial to me. Stationary bike and the elliptical machine help me with my severe osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia diagnosis. The list can go on, but why bother. lol 🤷‍♀️
I also depend on a cane for support and to walk.
    My balance is quite unstable.
    But I’m not giving up!
As I am writing to you now, I have an electric heat massager working on my lower back. I will soon put the massager on my shoulders.and neck.
Dizziness also affects me. I tell you it just keeps on giving. 😆
From the tip of my toes to my hairline and everywhere in between, pain is evident and severely felt.
I will not give in! Even though, I “hurt too bad to get better”, many , many, many days, I will not give in!
    Let’s hang in there!
I’m hoping that together we can be stronger to fight our pain and to hopefully find a certain amount of comfort and some healing!
Thanks Bonita for sharing and talking about this subject of pain.
I’ll look into that mat and pillow.
    🌷Sam

I hope you have a good day, Sam. As always, I appreciate you sharing your experiences with all of us. I feel I spent a lot of vitamins in the past and just take these now.

      @@bonitabradley8213 thanks Bonita.
It’s great that you’re getting results from the vitamins.
How are you feeling today? Has the humidity level been affecting your pain?

    • @bonitabradley8213
      @bonitabradley8213  5 месяцев назад +1

Humidity is yucky but I have only found extreme cold affects my muscle spasms. I am feeling much better today. Usually, if I do something that makes me hurt (without knowing it), 2 or 3 days is the recovery time.

I noticed that when I don’t take omega 3. I hurt. I also take collagen powder daily and use bone broth as well. I’ve heard great things about serrapeptase. Also listening to videos from dr Mandel the motivationaldoc and Dr. Berg has been helpful. Oh yes and I’ve heard fasting works really great as well

    • @bonitabradley8213

I have not collagen but heard of it helping. I am not familiar with the serrapaptase and we only make bone broth at home for all dishes. I have tried fasting and didn't notice a change.

For sure bedtime is my hardest time. All through the night I'm turning from side to side as the pain in my shoulders and in my hips gets to painful and then I need to flip to the other side also a lot of pain in my knees when I sleep as well and even down both my legs.

I have one shoulder, my favorite, that I can't lay on anymore. It makes it hard when I have slept like that my whole life. Laying on my back hurts, too. And then on the other side, my hip hurts. I totally get what you are describing!

Have you ever considered filing for social security disability? All the many years you worked when you were able to, it seems you would qualify.

Chewy is Great! I also will use my Sam's plus membership to get things shipped free. I don't really do delivery mainly because I have an arthritic old dog who acts like a fool. I do get pick up from grocery stores. All saves on my back.

I also have to be careful lifting and pushing and pulling and that type of thing as well. I did a bunch of housework today more than I normally do and I can tell by tonight into tomorrow morning I will be stiff and it will be rough. I have already started with pain in my shoulder down my arm and into my side. I'm trying to learn to Pace myself and just working a room a day as I can plus because we have a dog we need to keep our house vacuumed also because my husband has asthma so we need to keep the dust and dander down so that's something else that I need to do daily. But I have to take a lot of breaks as I know you do as well.
