Ah yes. I love the sound of every jaundra of performance motorcycle. The Triumph triples sound fast even when going slow. This is a review I have been waiting for. Thank-you so much. 😁🫡 This is one video I will watch twice!
I owned a 2014 675 Street Triple and it was loads of fun to ride. Now I have a GSXR750 and it is just as fun and maybe a bit more since I do enjoy the full fairing look on a bike.
I have the RS model and highly suggest the RS. The $3k difference to me is definitely worth it with the better suspension (fully adjustable), Brembo Stylema calipers up front, the little bit extra power and track mode. It is super fun on track and loves to lean on corners. The Brembos provide incredible stopping power for such a light bike.
I’m so glad you loved the bike. There is nothing like it. The nimbleness and sound from the bike is awesome. I currently own a 2022 model. The bike always brings a smile to my face. Very underrated. Pulls like nothing.
Triumph rider here, nothing like the sound and power delivery of the triple engine. Been watching all these test rides and following your content for a while, seems like you've had a few bikes like some of the last few tested, if you really want to get something different and can make lots of new content the GS1300 would be a great choice. It's like a Swiss army knife and has all the bells and whistles you seem to be wanting as well.
John, you would need 3 of these bikes to fit inside of 1 Triumph Rocket 3R...lol....I believe someone uttered that Triumph made the Rocket 3R to imitate the agility of the Street Triple; thus making the Rocket 3R the worlds best handling power cruiser !!
I have a 24 rs. There are quite a few differences between the r and rs. Brakes, suspension, dash, lower cowl, mirrors and a power increase up top. Better bang for the buck.
There is a proper Daytona 765, but they're hard to find and not cheap. I think they only made it for 2020, carbon fiber fairings, looks beautiful. But I've seen only 2 or 3 being sold in the past few years and for no less than $14k.
Actually the FTR 1200 is not in the same league as the Street Triple, I had a 765 RS 2018 model and it was a beast.. at 6’3” it felt a little small, but I think the Speed Triple is bigger and badder.
I feel sorry for the Poor Guy who is going to buy that bike not knowing someone absolutely abused the shit out of it! Dealers will soon Ban you from test riding once this behaviour becomes regular in your channel.
I would not be afraid to buy that bike at all. Race bike engines are broke in exactly the same way. Revs are never static, increased and decreased throughout the whole ride. Not once did he lug the engine, which is the worst thing you could do for it. Not once was the Rev limiter activated. And triples actually sound like they are screaming even when not revving that fast. The best thing for that particular bike would be change the oil and oil filter directly after that ride. After that that engine will last forever.
@@7ate7 You don't treat a brand new bike like that, especially when it is not yours! Besides, he does not obey any traffic rules at all. He will definatly hurt himself someday.
Triumph Triples are awesome. I have an 07 1050 Speed Triple and it does put a smile on my face. 👍👍👍

Couldn't agree more!

Yup, we can hear the induction noise! One of my favorite things about my street triple!
Awesome 😊

I just bought 765 RS this year, have done several track days already. This bike is amazing but I still wish for a proper Daytona 765 RS.

@ I know it’s limited edition. Another way is to mod the street triple with clip on and maybe change the front suspension.
I trade my 2020 speed triple rs 1050 for the 24 S1k. That 3 cylinder and those shorter gears she pulled like a monster. But god the wind was so bad 🤣
Is there any chance of you testing an Indian FTR 1200?

Where was the abuse? I think we saw different videos. lol
