Hi there! My name is Maneetpaul Singh, but my friends call me Maneet (pronounced muh-neet).
I'm based out of NYC and make RUclips videos about Book Tech and digital reading.
Think of me like the MKBHD of books 😅
I'm also a Sikh with a love for blue turbans. If you want to learn more about Sikhi and why I look the way I do, check out this short documentary I made: • THEY CALLED ME OSAMA (...
Whenever you’re ready, here are a few other ways I can help you:
1. Read a new book with me every month
At the start of every month, I’ll announce a new nonfiction book I’m going to read. Every week after that, I’ll email you one lesson I’ve learned from the book and a discussion question to help us reflect on it. Join me and 1,000+ other bookworms in the Presently Reading community: go.maneetpaul.com/presently-r...
2. Check out the books I’ve written
Outside of RUclips, I’m also an author. I write short books on topics that relate to digital reading, but also self development. You can find my books here: go.maneetpaul.com/books
If you want to get in touch, you can also email me hello@maneetpaul.com

The stand and turner isn’t just for lazy or cozy days. It’s also a really helpful setup for those with limited hand mobility. Amazon should absolutely have Bluetooth compatibility, as it can make their already excellent products better for a larger market.
Oh yes. Totally agree! I havee a remote cotroller for my 10 inches ONYX. But it will be great to use it with Kindle as well
So true! Thanks for calling this out!
I got the bedside stand and the remote because in the winter because my hands are freezing. 😢so cold
The stand and turner seem like such a quality of life improvement. I wish I had gotten this for my grandma, she loved reading but couldn't hold up the kindle for longer periods. ❤
Your wife seems like a sensible woman if she told you to hide the kindle stand when hosting guests. 😂❤ I would do that as well.
Remote page turn: I like to read outside under a sheltered porch in BC in the winters when temps are just above zero. I have a warm hoodie and fleece pants, and a big fluffy blanket. Only issue is that my fingers start to get cold holding the eReader, and I have to get the blanket wrapped just right so i can get my fingers out to turn the page without releasing all the warm air under the blanket.
With the remote I could keep my hands under the blanket, the blanket wrapped around me up to my chin, and stay warm.
Had to laugh about your wife letting you know the stand wasn't staying out when company was coming. :)
That sounds like such a cozy vibe! Thanks for sharing, and I hope the remote helps with keeping your hands warm :)
Oh hey, I know a Kindle user that I need to buy presents for - me!
I have author signatures on the back of my Oasis.
Ohhh, I love this!
Love this idea
@@Nikkilodean19 Thanks!
I think you should have bought a clear case if you liked the stickers as they fade over time. One on my fav stickers is fading because i placed it on my nook tablet cover. Its 10 yrs old but it still looks good
Ah, this is a great tip. I'll do that! Thank so much!
I bought the stand and page turner and its life changing. I have hand arthritis and this is so helpful. I love your channel. Thanks for the recommendation.
Thanks for sharing these. I was about to go on accessories hunt myself and this just dropped on my feed at right time. Super useful ones, really like the magic clip and strapsicle. Keep up the good work mate ✌🏼
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching 😃
Very helpful! I had not seen some of these accessories.
The page turner has a version that comes with two clips, so that you can go back as well. I plan to get that, plus the lazy stand. 😂 Because I’m literally lazy.
You should try out magnetic charge cables. It make charging a kindle and all your devices a breeze. Also, it eliminates the problem of needing different cables for different devices. With a magnetic cable you use one cable. I would avoid the ones with a swivel head because they seem to wear out over time and not allow electricity to flow through.
This sounds fascinating, haven’t heard of these before. I’ll look into it, thanks so much!
My first accessory is a pop socket.
Man, I’ve was into the market for a kindle, bought a kindle basic 2022, returned it coz I found it too small, now I bought the paperwhite. I just find your videos really good, and love from India
Thanks a lot. I truly find it annoying that there is no BT solution for page turning. I tried this clip but found it disturbing as hell. A simple tablet page turner would do. Here is some Homework for amazon kindle.
Hey i want to let you know you can turne both sides you just need to place it right in the spot. For the 2 dots on the page turner if you go forward and backwards. I put it in the right. It works.
The stand and the clip keep showing up on all of my socials. I think it’s a sign 😂
Haha, do it!
Beautiful name bro
There is a finger that can be used to press a switch in smart homes if there is no other way to automate that switch. . The first thing that I thought was, "That's really creepy ." The second thing was "How can I use that to turn pages on an eReader?" Sometimes I'm using a book or a pdf manual on a tablet ereader app to fix something. I have actually used my nose to change a page. Now I don't have to!
How would the pop socket or strapsicle work on a case with a flap like the Amazon cases?
Accessories like that would have a harder time working on a case. The Amazon ones with the flap, especially, can get tricky. You'd probably have better luck with a thinner case without the flap.
@@Maneetpaul thank you! I’m just so ocd about the screen getting scratches on it so always opt for a flap case 😭
I wish there was a way to set timed page turns on kindle 30 seconds up to 5 minutes. And all kindled should have buttons.
That would be a really cool feature! Maybe some day they'll add that.
Heeeeey, you feel like a bro from the part time RUclipsr academy ;)
Cohort 1! 😎
Ugh just ordered the magic clip but had no idea you can’t go backwards. I wouldn’t have ordered it then :(
Reading other comments though, I have to comment that not everyone has a kindle. The good thing about that product is that it works for different ereaders (like Kobo, for example).
Yeah, that's a big plus for this accessory, it's not Kindle-specific! Thanks for mentioning that. And yes, the lack of backwards control is frustrating. For me, it hasn't been the biggest deal, but I'm sure it could be annoying for a lot of people.
Buy another and put it on the other side to flip back??
