Thanks a lot for sharing this video! Made heaps of difference to what I can see as possible and impossible! I am going over the idea of getting an extractor fan and hood, and you have explained everything I need to know! Thank you very very much for this you made a big difference to me And the job at hand! Thanks a lot cheers
Seems odd they haven’t left a kink in the sides of the chimney for those that don’t have a wall outlet in the perfect location and instead need to run it discreetly as possible to above the cupboards with an extension lead.
If using a recirculation extractor, you are required to have a carbon filter as it will remove contaminates, but you also need a separate room extractor
Love the scouse accent. Best people in England 🩷
Thank you. With both the manual and your help, I installed this yesterday.
Glad it helped

I really enjoy your videos, no nonsense
I'm a no nonsense kind of person so my videos are the same.
Very helpful indeed. Thanks.
really nice video🙂 i need this
thanks, very useful .
Where we the heat coming out from the cooker goes
that's also my question since day 1
Is it okay to cover the socket, like you did? I'm scared that steam will build up in the socket and possible become an issue
It's fine to do 👍🏼
I put the cable offset with an isolator switch not under the chimney where moisture in that cavity could cause issues to safety from water build up.
Cheers mate
👍🏽
Very informative
Does every extractor install same way including the ones with sensor

Nice job mate
How would you install this as a extractor not a recirculating hood?
So where will the heat pass through? Outside or inside the ceiling?
@chrisandtendai2 steam
That’s exactly my question, was wondering why no one pop this question 🤷🏼♂️
How will the heat go out???? Pls
it goes within the room, the carbon filter removes contaminates and then it blows it out the top of the extractor fan into the decorative chimney void
Inside the room
Is it a must we use charcoal filter?

Good video, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Mine stopped workin. How do i sort this?
RTFM love it lol
It is a good saying 😂
Don't you have to put ducting into that chimney - especially if you're recirculating?
@BarmyTwubble good luck cleaning that shit then
brilliant
Nice that, shame it's just too short! Would drive me crazy
It's not driving me crazy like I thought it would. I don't even notice it now.
NOOICE!!!

@@spendtimesavemoneydiy The smell will be left in the room.
@dealleduman8378that's what the charcoal filters for
Extraction outlet is the only way to go not a bit charcoal foam your just wasting your time do it properly. 😮
If it was possible, yes - but for many that is not the case hence people fit recirculating set-ups.
