    Excellent that. Dealt with the unexpected really well and covered the hood itself when installing the ducting to keep it tidy. Too many people end up dinking brand new stuff

    Video was very informative so thanks for that. Music however was very annoying to the point I was having to adjust the volume all the time. Sometimes silence between commentary is a better alternative.

    Can you hire that drill cutter bit? 150mm diameter cutter would be expensive to buy

    When you placed the second section of the pipe cover on. Was it a sliding fit from the hood ?

      Thanks for the comment. Yes it was a sliding fit. Good luck!

    Can i ask what the size of the ducting was? Also, how did you secure the duct to the cooker hood?

    • @renovateinnovate
      @renovateinnovate  Год назад +3

      Hi, we used 6inch ducting and it was secured with a large jubilee clip. Hope that helps 👍

      @@renovateinnovate appreciate the response. I'm seeing the 6inch ducting needs a 160mm diamond core drill bit. Is this what you used if i may ask please as i can only see 152mm diamond core bits on Screwfix? Thanks for your time

      @@karimabdullah2925 No problem! Yes we used a 152mm bit but there was enough give in the ducting to squeeze it through - hope that helps

    why did the cover have to go all the way to the ceiling if the first half covered the ducting already?

      That is just the best way of doing it, we believe.

    In order for it to work, you need to connect the power supply. Did you forget to include that step or did you do it off-camera?

    • @renovateinnovate
      @renovateinnovate  11 месяцев назад +3

      The electrician connected the power supply off camera

      The wiring was done by the electrician, as we are not certified
