Hi! I just wanted to thank you for this video. I watched it to prepare for my ICU interview and it helped me so much! It prepared me to think of my own scenarios and experiences. During the interview, they asked me similar questions and were very impressed with my answers! Three weeks later, I was offered an RN position in the surgical trauma Pediatric Intensive Care Unit as a new grad! Thank you so much for all your help! 😊
I enjoyed your emphasis on effective therapeutic communication and how to integrate this into the workplace. I think as nursing students we only think about utilizing these techniques with patients. However, they are also helpful when approaching conflict with other members in the patient-care team. Thank you!!

Great job teaching this subject! Hope you plan on sharing your talent through teaching. I have been a nurse and now am an School Nurse Teacher. You're teaching skills will be appreciated in your nursing career. As busy bedside nurses, we are not usually accustomed to sharing our knowledge publicly. That has been my biggest challenge in my current role. I am just starting to develop feeling comfortable with my public speaking.
Thanks for your video! My interview is coming up this week. Your answers allowed me to remember my own experiences! ( I felt like I had no patient experience but I actually do) So thank you for actually answering the nursing questions from your perspective 😊
Thanks, It was very helpful. I only worked at a nursing home for few years, but received the job offer at an internationally recognized hospital in NY as a t-cell / bone marrow transplant clinical nurse. The nurse manager did not even asked for 2nd interview. I couldn't believe it, it only took less than 15 mins for the virtual interview. ONlY 3 questions. And, this week they sent me the request for references, and I am looking for them right now. 1- What does your day look like at your current job 2- What do you do to relieve stress 3- Why you want to work at this hospital
