I have a granite voltage 2wd that's now 3s and has all the integy aluminum available for it and all there steel gears witch I got all in a bundle deal on ebay for really cheap or I'd never spend $300+ the aluminum parts a gears coast new. But the added weight makes the truck more controlled with 3s. And haven't had any problems. Woth the pro-line hard basher body I had got for another project years ago an was to small for, it's a beast.love over powered 2wd bashers.
Wow the air control is really good with those tires! Wish they make the gorgon in 1/8th or 1/5th scale…. Like copy and paste the exact design but increase the size across the board

@@Trezork does it backflip easy? From what exocaged used i guess it might be a bit harder for you? Do you think 4000 or 4200 Kv would make it too hard to drive and to hot?
@@t3floz yeah, it doesn’t really have the torque to backflip easy, but it will wheelie all day long. Different gearing or a larger motor would definitely help. Just make sure to get a fan for over the motor, there’s not enough room for a heat sync

Its lighter then most 1/10 scale monster trucks. Thats exactly why it can take more hits.. i have yet to break mine.. besides the stock servo is awful and went out after 5 runs.
Huh… stock servo has been doin great for me, maybe your steering rate was too high? Servo was constantly fighting to push further than it’s able to? 🤷🏽♂️ just spitballin, could’ve just been a dud
@@V8chump could be . Yet the stock servos are still a weak point. Imo
It's the high cg design that makes it so easy to backflip and hard to keep the nose down. Not so good when you want to race and it limits how much power you can control.
