Used to run 12th scale nascar indoors about 30 years ago!! Back then,the best cars were made by bolink and hyper.oh the days of tekin esc,analog servos, and nicad batteries! Man the sport has come a very long way!

Loving the mini nascars! We tun mini rcs indoors in the winter on polished concrete snd the tires from these things might be game changers for us! Aldo you could pribably wrap that inner pipe in pool noodles to epotect rhe cars !

Other than the optional adjustable arms and a sway bar I’m excited about to keep my electronics stock thanks for doing this testing it’s confirmed for me and that keeping it stock will be best for my application

Very few people need a $700 radio. I am sure it has a lot of sparkly things and fancy touch screen. However, a fancy radio does not make the driver. Bad driver is still bad. I have won a local 1/8 buggy race with an RTR radio after my daily driver radio decided to lose throttle input. I have finished LAST with my mid-range radio ($250).
Wicked little car i'm not sure if i'll be getting one of these Losi Nascars but do for a fact want that Spektrum radio to replace my RC8X.

I know radio is important but holy cow 700$!?!? Going from Dumbo rc crap to radiolink 8 channel was definitely noticeable, but is there really all that much difference between the rc8x, or that new mt10 unit I've seen that would run on my current receivers.
Definitely get out there with your mower and drag a tire around behind it. I bet it would make all the difference on smooth concrete
they don't allow gyro in circle track do they? thats probably why the car is pushing
I drug an old car tire drug behind a lawn tractor around our parking lot track to lay some rubber down. It's sticky now
If u have a stock car track flat go to the pits where drivers r them & ask for why .

Caster has nothing to do with tire wear. That would be camber.
Softer RF tire will fix that
Did you adjust your dual rate at all to dumb down the steering?
I didn’t mess with that. I just adjusted the end points. Usually I adjust expo rather than dual rate.
@@ExocagedRCthat’s what we do on off-road carpet to limit your steering throw. I’d say with that fancy controller I’d set epa to 100% then drop dual rate down to about 80% maybe slow the steering speed a little bit also -20 or so to make it less snappy so it doesn’t spin out as easily. I play with those two settings a lot on my race cars. That and add more drag brake. Just some ideas.

Those cars are not dust proof and the motor has open holes for ventilation I would keep the track clean as much as possible 😮😊👍

That's nothing. I wasted 2 G's on spektrum's top air tx. It was used, & registered to someone else (& still had their planes in it!🤯) when it arrived, but was 'new'🤷♂️!

Why use a gyro in a nascar, welp I just heard you answer my question as I am typing this.. lol No you're using a gyro in racing.. 🤣
We race for fun so gyro is fine for us. But in a real race we would have to turn it off.
