Morning Shaun. That was so funny, looking after your mate was like looking after your child 😂😂 I was laughing like mad bless him. I know those two viewers Katie & Shaun that’s a fine truck they’ve got. You two seem to have a nice time when you meet up 😊 and you had a nice little site set up there. 😊
Beer or wine ... less washing up with beer (if filming / sharing a bottle of wine there's at least one mug to wash up) ... Only time I've tried a kayak was on a calm pond - even that was hard to move in a straight line - the sea looks far harder! Great to see you and Darren messing around by the sea - precious times, thanks for bringing us with you
This had to be one of the most fun and relaxing videos I have seen in such a long time. Not that all your videos are fun and relaxing, they are indeed the best. Thank you, gents for the video.
I think that was a very fun time with your mate Darren. I enjoyed your adventures on the water and the eating of the burgers. The weather looked great!
After watching another great video this morning with my bowl of porridge, I suddenly felt the need for a burger and bacon 😁 love the gadgets you have 👍
I use my bluetti max to run everything in my van. It’s only charges through solar it’s lasted in not so sunny weather for 4 days got to 35% with small amount charge. and then the sun come out and fully charged it with in a day. I have 300watt on my roof. So much cheaper doing it this way than the full kits you have to have and saves lot more room. Cracking video as always mate
What a lovely spot - just perfect! It looks so great being able to canoe/paddle board like that. Here in SA, the waves & swell are always too much and then there's the Great Whites !!! It's "their" season (winter) at the mo. I'm on a shark alert group and we have had numerous spottings of GW's DAILY. There's just NO WAY I would be getting in the water at ANY of the beaches in the Plettenberg Bay Area. We also don't get pebble beaches like that - all sand ! 🦋
Fabulous video Shaun, great weather lovely beach, Darrens a great guy.. Love the Ocean Frogs, i actually bought that pair after i saw you buy them at the Falmouth movie screening..😎😎😎
Standing on a SUP and getting into a wet suit was impressive but then to fly and land that drone whilst casually sitting on the SUP nothing but LEGEND! The early bay window was sweet too. I intended to go to Portherris for the weekend recently but after a visit to a car show at the Lizard I couldn't believe how mony people are still down here. Will be defo visiting soon though as it looks like a sweet spot. BTW Darren don't fall off ... SPLASH!! 😆
Aloha Shaun Stayed at porthkerris two weeks ago based on your previous video you made there. Loved the sunrise and the flat calm morning tide. Two people were parked where you both were and I was a bit jealous as in my opinion that's the best spot. Fun getting down and back up that hill though 😂
Great video. 😉 I bought a Bluetti unit 2 weeks ago. I went for the AC180 as it suited my needs. Very good equipment. 😁 I couldn't use the code to get any discount on it as it only applied to the bigger unit that you use. But I am very happy with it. 👍

The kayak and the SUP board are a struggle and pointless for such short distances. You better look in to getting a cheap inflatable raft which is way more comfortable and safe. I have for the last 4 years a Savylor K65 which costs around 50 pounds and I have over 100 days on the sea and lake with it. It`s much lighter than yours at around 2-3 Kg. Never had a puncture, but I also didn t drag it through rocks either as its super light and you can carry it in one hand easily. As accessories I`ve got aluminium paddles, dry bag, homemade anchor out of a 3 Kg square metal plate, a plastic rope and a umbrella (that you can tie on 2 points from the rope around it). I had days on the lake in which I spent 6-8 hours on the water without returning to the sure even once. I left it in the sun on the beach at sea for 20 straight days multiple times and the sun didn t kill it, I just had to deflate it a bit if it was super hot and the air expanded. On calm water you can easily raw 1 kilometer without any stops. To get on it you just put it in water deeper than 20 cm so you don`t risk puncturing it if there are rocks, stay with your back facing the raft on one of it`s sides not ends and you just lay down your butt in it as you do on a chair. There is a bigger version to fit your friend Savylor K85.
Hi mate loving the videos can't wait for the new van build to get going. Also is it free to stay there ? Are you going to do a little van tour of Darren's van ?
That's handy info on the Bluetti. Was wondering how it would cope using the cigarette lighter socket and whether it would struggle with larger DC loads. I guess the 36v output could be used with a DC DC converter. What a lush spot too!
