    Lisa is amazing. I've also been following her for about a decade now and she has been consistant throughout. She was talking about being gentle with our skin, k-beauty, sunscreen, aha-bha exfoliation WAY before anyone else was on youtube. Today everyone's talking about these things but Lisa really was the first. She is so smart! and she bases everything on real research. She was always ahead of the game and that's why I trust everything she says implicitly. She's really one of kind. And don't get me started on her makeup skills.. other worldly. Really.

    I SCREAMED! I love Lisa - her makeup looks are exceptional. Her video with the makeup on the girl with acne, that shows how to just conceal the points and leave the rest of the beautiful skin without cakey foundation - changed my makeup when I was younger :) BTW Weleda is a german brand and in Germany it is pretty cheap, so this cream is like 10euros there. A flannel is actually a very small version of a towel, we use the word towel here in the UK the same way people in the US use it, a flannel is something different, it's the same kind material, its just very small, I think people in the US would call it a face washcloth what we call a flannel :)

    • @monicaw8009
      @monicaw8009 3 года назад +1

      Actually we in the US use 3 different types of "towels". We have the large body towel, the small wash cloth, and then we use a hand towel that's about the size of 2 wash clothes.

    Two of my favourite people in one video! Christmas came early! I love your videos and appreciate how you never waver in your morals and values, even when it’s not the popular opinion. I work in a beauty (makeup and skincare) situation and have always felt uncomfortable with how many of my coworkers go about sales. We rely on commission mainly for our pay, so I get how sales are important, however it would always hurt my soul to see a coworker talking a customer into something that was overpriced and wasn’t going to help. Your videos and philosophy have boosted my confidence to be as transparent as possible with my customers. Not only has my conscience felt better, but I’ve earned the trust of so many of my customers who come back to see me time and again. And in the long run, I see more sales than the others who are just trying to sell the most expensive products! I just wanted to let you know how highly I think of you and what you’re doing. Keep up the good work! ❤️

    This is the first video of yours that I'm watching and I'm utterly charmed by your positive attitude and scientifically & experienced well-informed opinion. My 'New England Practicality' is impressed with how you break every product and process down to essentials and give a positive, honest review of your findings. I'm so impressed! And looking forward to seeing more from you. BIG THANK YOU for the links to products that you've researched and approved!!!!!💞

    Hi Cassandra, I totally agree that Eldridge is very relaxing to watch😍. I have a request for a future video. I have used the cerave moisturizer for some time and after a few months using it it started stinging my skin quite badly. I have heard other people having the same problem with cerave. Would you be willing to make a video explaining why that happens? Wish you a recharging holiday season!🎄

    The Evolve cleansing balm wasn't a good fit for me, at least :S I really enjoyed its scent and how it melted on my skin but unfortunately had trouble cleaning it off and often was left with a "film" on my face, even when I double cleansed with another product. I've liked other products from the line, tho :)

    So smart to just put your face mask back in and in the fridge 😍 there is always so much serum left in the bag, so I use it on my chest, neck hands etc, but it's still a lot left and I don't feel the need to put it all over my body 😅 will definitely try to put it back in the fridge next time!

    The ren mask is GREAT if your someone like me who burns a lot with aha/bha masks and gets sensitivity. This one is not firey like the ordinary one, it's calmer, and has some exfoliation that you gently rub in when you rinse it off. I really like it and it smells grrrreat! Very light citrus smell. It has glycolic acid too, not just lactic.

      Quick question for anyone who may know.. I was wondering do you feel the Microcurrent from all devices? I got a device from Amazon, it goes LED, Microcurrent, heat/cool, etc, and I only barely felt the zapping when I smiled or contracted facial muscles, and on my neck. Is that normal or does it sound weak?

    There's soo much genetic in skin. For majority of the people, who are not blessed with "normal" non problematic skin, few simple steps are the best option. I don't think anyone needs many steps and for the average person who isn't in the business/receive free products/just want to play with skincare as is also a big waste of money.. But I love Lisa.

      What would you consider detoxing?? 😬 Like what kind of detoxing would she do?

    • @cri0871
      @cri0871 3 года назад

      Omg..What did she do to detox? And are you sure is because of this? Usually detoxing consists of drinking many juices if I'm not wrong. So this could be a coincidence.. There are many causes for liver failure including infectious deaseases, alcohol or even some meds like paracetamol.

    • @cathrinerhardt
      @cathrinerhardt 3 года назад +1

      I don't think the detoxing stands in a causal context with the liver failure.

    1st of : your educational videos make a real difference in what we (at least my friends and I) know about skin and how we percieve skin (for example my acne).
    2nd I was wondering if you could make a video/post about devices (LED if it's just blue or red works too etc.) for acne (or a mention if nothing really helps).
    As a skincare geek, I would love to have a device helping me with my acne, I would really appreciate if you could share if there're options or not much!

    About the Evolve cleanser since you asked... It is a bit of a hybrid in consistency as it is as a consistency of an oily gel if one could describe such a thing... It makes it easier to rinse off with less residue, which I imagine makes it interesting for people who have a hard time with cleansers leaving residue. It is not the most efficient cleanser I have ever tried but it is nice and above all different from the more common balm cleansers that are only oil and emollients based.
    Lernberger och Stafsing is a Swedish brand mainly focused on hair products as the two guys founding it are well known hair dressers in Sweden from the beginning. Branching out into skincare is a new thing for them...
    Weleda is a very well known German brand based in antroposophy philosophy made of vegan ingredients only and has been around since the 1920s. So its one of the pioneers in vegan skincare.

    Dermologica is so not a prestige line. However you are spot on regarding the NuFace. We do it in each 90 minute facial protocol as an introduction, and have good retail sales. Not a fan of the red light attachment though. NeuBrow and NeuLash work amazingly. I could literally braid my lashes. But oooh, she's supposed to apply to the lower lash only, and will transfer to the upper lashes.

    Fun fact on the brow/lash serum ingredient list (that I learned from Dr. Dray!) - 'Isopropyl Cloprostenate' is the 'active ingredient' in Lattisse. I think I spied this ingredient in the lists you displayed...if it doesn't contain that, then it's really just a product to keep your lashes or brows hydrated to prevent breakage.
    Love these 'reaction' videos! I'm binge watching them, which is why this comment comes so long after the video was posted.
