Hey Cassandra!! Thank you so much for all the knowledge you impart to us!! Love watching your video :) Im in the process of getting rid of my fungal acne that is o my forehead and i realised that i now have a lot of textured skin on my forhead.Do you know how i could get rid of textured skin?
This is a great idea!! Girl! Cassandra! You should offer people an option to site down and talk so them about their skin so you could make a detailed skin routine based on their needs AND budget!! I would pay money for that! Pay once for a Long last routine designed for me and all I have to do is refill the product! Yes sign me in!!
Cassandra, you probably recorded this a while ago but just in case you didn't know, Garnier is now fully cruelty free as they stopped selling in mainland China!!!!
@@msk-qp6fn "the need to be cruelty free" ah yes such a shame society is pushing for better treatment towards animals and to not use them as science experiments.
I love the observation on feline acne! 🐱 My cat has feline acne, is just as hard to get rid of it as human acne. Yes, there are special kitty "skincare" for that, and she went to a veterinary who is a specialist in feline dermatology. Basically you treat it with a lot of topic antibiotics and higienization of food and drink bowls.
How the HECK do you remember all of these brands and products!? I am desperately trying to figure out a skin care routine for myself without spending a ton of money but I am so overwhelmed with the amount of different products I am seeing 😭
Cassandra I am obsessed with your videos, I even watch them even before I go to sleep! You are super fun super educated and I enjoy watching you to the core😍 Sending you so much love and so much peace💖
I know I know I know you have no idea - she is so talented, work so hard, and it’s so lovely! Literally could not do any of this without miss Julialala!!
Recently, I've been wanting to build up a skincare routine and I've been eyeing the Pyunkang Yul essence for a while and, well, I'm am sold on it now 😌 I'm also super happy I found your channel so I can learn more about skincare and what to look for/avoid when looking for products
You have another Cyst-er here 🙋🏽♀️ I healed most of my acne with nutrition but I needed advise to purchase products that are affordable and vegan 🌱 thank you 😊
I absolutely love your energy and just how happy you are. I hope in real life you are this happy, because you deserve it for making me an a million other people feel more confident and smile while watching your videos and teaching us your knowledge. ❤ thank you.
THE INKEY LIST Succinic Acid Blemish Treatment was a game changer for me, again something I tried on your recommendation ♥ I started to get deep acne around my jaw line, this product gets rid of them fast, and I often use it on my jaw line as a preventative. It has drastically cut back break outs. I'm going to try the Holika Holika - Less On Skin Micellar Cleansing Water now, thanks for the recommendation! I am using makeup wipes and I always feel they burn my skin, I don't know if its the over exfoliation of the wipe itself or what, but this looks better! Thanks again Cass ♥
That HaruHaru lavender-scented moisturiser looks so tempting! I love lavender scent but swore off fragrances after the last moisturiser I used with it in, Lush's Vanishing Cream, worked well at first then all the essential oils ended up really irritating my skin long-term (that bad experience with "natural" formulations was actually what started off my journey into science-based skincare...) Comparing the two ingredients lists, the HaruHaru one looks gentle enough that it might be OK for me - the lavender's the last ingredient and it has things like glycerin that I know work well for me. I might have to give it a shot!
I'm a young 52 suffered with acne all my life until I used ordinary products so wish they were about when I was young as I wouldn't of struggled so bad leaving the house enjoying my first acne free year free at last xxx
Cassandra got me into proper skincare and got me hooked on Pyunkan Yul essence toner and I regret nothing! I kept seeing this toner in few videos reffered to as a "grape jelly" and yumm, it sounded so delicious I had to get it. And my mind is blown. Honestly, your skin just straight up drinks it, it smells divine and the feeling, like a soft baby face! If you don't have this yet, be on your way because guys! Incredible! And of course Dear Klairs Vitamin C is phenomenal! Smells incredible, doesn't really give me hot flash feeling but its glowy, sinks in beautifully and is just delicious! Must say, korean skincare does hit different! Thanks, Cassie!
Hey Cassandra, not sure Pyunkang Yul is still to be considered cruelty-free. I know they announced a while back their wish to sell products in China (therefore having to go through animal testing by law). I believe Yesstyle doesn't list them as cruelty-free anymore. Thought you'd want to know!
I was trying to find some new info about that but failed. So I guess I will remove them from my wishlist. I do hope Cassandra will be back with an update about this brand.
Doesn't that simply mean that a 3rd (Chinese) party might autonomously decide to test on animals? And doesn't actuality affect what the company does (to animals).
I’m finding out so much interesting skin science from Cassandra. Is there like a skillshare course on to learn about how the skin works, or like good books for non medical people?? I feel like I get what she talks about, but id love to like KNOW how skin layers and pores etc work for myself.
The Ordinary Niacinamide/zink solution, Pyunkang Yul Low PH Scalp Shampoo and Mist Toner are my 3 "would die for" products. The universe bless both companies
Cannot thank you enough for introducing me to the Isntree watery sun gel! The Pyunkang Yul essence toner is also a favorite you brought to the table, and I like using it with my nuFace mini. Wander patches are a bit gimmicky and not as good as other eye patches but fun for gifting, and easily found on sale. I'm a month in to the HaruHaru rice moisturizer, and sadly, there is something that doesn't agree with me, but I love the toner.
Cassandra!!! So I am trying to figure out what I want to do with my life and I think I want to be an esthetician and my grandmother’s hairdresser is also a certified esthetician and she said she would talk to me about becoming one!!! Thank you Cassandra!!!❤️❤️❤️🦋🦋🦋
Is it the Ordinary retinol 1% in Squalane or Granactive retinoid emulsion that you love? Because you said one and showed another so Im a bit confused ❤️🙈
My skin lives and breathes my Eminence bamboo serum, but it's a little harder to get where I live now, and more expensive than many others. I am in the process of revamping my routine to adjust for lifestyle, climate, and age changes my skin is coping with and you have been a MASSIVE help. Thank you!
There is a new Garnier line here in Europe. It's a Bio line that's vegan and with exclusively plant-based ingredients. I personally really like the cornflower micellar water. AND they have been certified to be cruelty free as I just saw on their German website.
TO Niacinamide + Zinc is the one product I would run a marathon to the store to buy. I have combination skin (oily Tzone, the rest is dry) and also mild rosacea and it works perfectly on my skin. Never had irritation (I did use creams with niacinamide before niacinamide was everywhere), no purging whatsoever. My skin loved it from the first moment it touched my face, drinks it up with no prob. It magically rid me of adult pre-menstrual acne on my chin, evened out skin tone, evened out texture. It did more for my skin than any other product. I'm now slowly introducing retinol into my routine, because there are a few lines I'd like softened :D But never getting rid of this product! Also on top of my list would be the Inkey list Oat cleansing balm and the Cerave moisturizing cream (I know you don't use it). I'd also like to put in there one very underrated product (though not underrated in the EU) the Eucerin DermatoClean gel cleanser.
I personally prefer the papaya sorbet cleansing balm by Glow Recipe over the oat cleansing balm- for the texture and how my skin reacts to the ingredients.
You talk so much like me I don't care the price I care about the effective ingredients and then you talk about the chemical compounds and even have images I'm in love

PSA Baby Powder is actually super outdated to be used on babies - the risk of inhalation exceeds any benefits the powder might have for the baby. Booty paste (boudreaux is best) is the recommended alternative!
So funny you mentioned Haru haru my favorite toner is the Haru Haru Wonder black rice hyaluronic toner for sensitive skin it's fragrance free and alcohol free it's amazing I love it it's literally I have tried at least 20 different toners and this is my favorite by far I have repurchased it six times already
Do you know if the Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner is safe to use on babies and children who need deep hydration due to eczema, Cassandra? It helped with my eczema tremendously! ❤️
Great video! I'm a professional gardener and in the sun all day! Please recommend an easily applied, relatively inexpensive sun screen I can apply to my arms, shoulders, legs and back. It's a large area to cover and I need to reapply 3 times during my work hence the need for it to be inexpensive. Thank you!
Hey, what a lovely job! Not Cassandra but decided to give you some suggestions if you don't mind. The body's skin is more resistant than our faces so normally any sunscreen will do the job with no issues, you just need to look for high SPF and lower prices. But if you're looking for something vegan and more environmental friendly, Supergoop has some great products, also Dr. Dennis Gross and it has spray application so maybe that's interesting for you, Sun Bum also looks fine and it's cheap, also has spray option. Good luck 💖
Hey, I can recommend you the P20 for kids!! Super high FPS and UVA protection, exists in 200ml and quite affordable. It's definitely not mate but who cares!
Sum Bum, Alba Botanica, ThinkSports/ThinkBaby if you wanna stick with vegan and cruelty free options. If not you can also consider Coppertone and Banana Boat as well.
I would need the The Ordinary, AHA BHA peel, The Ordinary Ceffeine ECGC, and Clinique dramatically different. I've used it for more than 30 years and it just is perfect for my skin
Thank you for sharing so truthfully! You made me do it. I purchased the Paula’s Choice liquid exfoliant for my ten year old daughter. My poor baby has so many black heads now that she’s going through puberty. She has her Dad’s back acne/bumps and we found some products from Cerave that will hopefully help.
Cassandra !!!! You have to try Bioderma nude touch sunscreen!!! OMG!!! Soooo perfect for oily skin. Tinted, mineral, waterproof, fragrance free. I am super mat alllll day. We have it in Europe, but I believe you could find in in States as well
Since Cass upped her game u could say. There aren't many cosmetically elegant and effective vegan and cruelty free options that are under 15~10 usd to he brutally honest. For all the stuff the products promise the products Cassandra recommends arent crazy expensive but are they generally affordable/inexpensive? I wouldn't say so, which is why you have to let go of one thing or more. I usually end up giving up cruelty free-ness and/or cosmetic elegance for price point and effectiveness.
I thought that was odd (why market a product to teens and yet make it multiple times the price of The Ordinary, Inkey List, etc?) but I looked it up and most of the products are around $15, which feels about right to me! Looks like they did their market research on what that consumer will pay - a little bit of prestige pricing to pay for the formulas and packaging, and fit with the idea that "proper" skin care costs more than a dollar store face mask, but still on a par with what most teens might spend on a treat.
In this economy (inflation), that's affordable. Now I prefer the prices of good molecules because it is so incredibly cheap, but reality is harsh. That's what affordable is now. Plus, places like WALMART & MCDONALD'S (where lots of teens work) are literally hiring for $15+ an hour now. Unlike the $8 an hour that we were working for when I started working in 2016. Just saying 🤷🏽♂️
I love the Haru Haru Black Risk Cream! It was reduced on stylevana so I picked up 4 more bottles, its just so wonderful and my skin is so happy after using it, so thank you for introducing it to me :p
I live my skincare life vicariously through you. Though it is becuase of you i found out about physical sunscreen which I bough and do actually use if im going to spend time outside so go you :).
