I really appreciate you showing us the less than desirable clutter areas. It's good to know I'm not the only one, and it makes the video that much more motiviating!
I'm so impressed by how well you manage everything and that you set a goal and just go through with it without complaining. I truly admire that. And I honestly don't understand people who give you trash for owning a lot of make up or blankets, we all have our hobbies and things that make us happy. I have over 300 books that I will keep despite decluttering my whole apartment because they are my main hobby and precious to me. You're doing great!
Who’s giving you grief!? These are awesome. I love the skeletons in your closets... makes me feel better about mine! Lol Seriously they’re a great inspiration. Keep going!! 🤛

I feel so bad for all the disclaimers I hear from moms on RUclips. There are moms who can’t feed their babies, who can’t stop using drugs to take care of their babies, and people are picking on a mom for having too much makeup? One of the biggest things I try to teach my kids is to mind their business, and that just because it’s right for one, doesn’t mean it’s right for all. I’m sorry you have to deal with it. Good job being awesome.
Amen.Good point. We all have our own issues, struggles and successes.I really appreciate this series.I am purging now and I have sincerely repented to God for my overindulgence and shopping that I truly never realized how out of control I was.I actually sobbed as I looked around each drawer, closet and I am no where near done.Thank God for you and your inspiration.🙌🏼💞💖
Oh my goodness I adore you. We only have 4 kids, but our life is chaotic and crazy and days fly by without us even knowing it. We have about 10 years of “life” to sort through and declutter as we become more minimal. And it’s a task. A lot of people don’t understand why it can’t be done in one day. And I swear, I rarely take a break, but it’s taking all of my heart to not feel like a failure for not being done yet. I’ve been redoing each room repeatedly so that our main rooms are finally fully done. And now just to tackle the garage and storage room 🙈.
Angela, I am a mom of three...(one who is autistic) but I rarely have time to think about decluttering and organizing all the things. Life is life and times get busy and out of control. Dont allow anyone to speak negatively to you about the clutter of life! Congratulations on taking the time and finding the motivation to attack the monster head on. Well done!!! Hugs
Totally unrelated, but would you consider doing a video with tips, tricks of how to look good as a stay at home mom, cuz you allways look so well, hair and make-up and everything. 😁
I guess that finding a moment in the morning where you can get dressed and ready for the day as if you were going to work/out would be a good starting point. (I'm not a mom though !)
Please! I’m a new mom and I’m really struggling with this. I have the clothes but it seems like “a waste” of time or effort when I’m going to be on the floor or getting spit up on.
@@karoosten232 Hey, i think she said once (if not, might have been some other youtuber) wear your clothes/ make up etc & don't treat it like fine china. This is so true, also allow yourself 5/10 or 15min in the morning to get ready & therefore feeling good the whole day.
you accomplish so much with the size of your family. the fact that you're finding time to simplify the lives of everyone in your family is only inspiring. so sorry to hear people would give someone like you a hard time!
Ever since starting watching your channel over 3 years ago I look up to you so much! You inspire me to adopt one day and I always thought: HOW IS SHE ABLE TO DO SO MUCH??? And fell ashamed of my mess. THANK YOU SO MUCH for showing us your reality and that not everything is always picture perfect and doesn’t have to be! I now look up to you even more! Keep going! You and CR really try your best every day to be the greatest parents for your kids and it is showing! Be proud :) ❤️
I just found your videos. I think I saw you on Do It On A Dime channel??... I started binge watching your decluttering video... I just wanna say forget the judgemental people. They obviously have nothing better to do than troll. We all have to start somewhere! It is something that constantly has to be kept with and it's A LOT of work getting started. You're doing amazing and I LOVE your videos so far! Don't let those "others" get you down or keep you from showing us your hard work! Great Job!!!
Sweet mother of Pete! Yes, repurging on a regular basis😓 it is the bane of my existence!! But so necessary for keeping things minimal. And NOBODY better be judging on my Angela!! Bless you for being vulnerable and helping others have the courage to tackle their challenges😘
Here is a little lone voice coming from Tasmania, Australia........! I’m so proud of your de-cluttering! Your secret closet of blankets issue has now been addressed, and now you have spoken out of your “failure”, move on and be thankful. A by product of the excess of blankets is some people will really appreciate those warm and fuzzies! I used to use every school holiday to go through the clothing of each child, with that child. It is a big job that you have taken on; to declutter a whole house. Be kinder to yourself and don’t burn out either❤️. Well done, you! Susan.
You did so well. I can't believe you did 3 bedrooms in 6 hours. I tried doing my own the other day, didn't finish & took longer than that! Blow the haters. They don't have as many kids & a very busy life as you. You are both amazing parents. Xx
I watched the video with you and Kathrine. I have 6 kids myself and I understand how long it takes to get through clothes. It seems once you finally get through all the clothes your doing it over again in my case. New subscriber here and love that you adopt. I was pretty much adopted we just didn't do the paperwork. You are making a big difference in those kids lives.
We’ve been decluttering for around 2 years now and still at it I think it’s a never ending journey but it does get easier as things go we’re nearly there now just once a month we go around our home and see what we don’t want or use but it’s been a up and down journey and it’s been hard as well and very overwhelming good luck with it keep at it cause it’s lovely when it’s all done you get up and these hardly no tidying up to do with all the stuff gone that decluttered your home bless you xxx
Girl! It’s totally relatable. We all have those spots where we have too much. My husband is insane about sports and we have way too much. I would never buy one sports thing but he’s nuts about it. Even in the same house we have different buying and hoarding habits. My worst spot is clothes.
What a blessing to have so many girl clothes to fold! I have 5 boys and 1 daughter and just love all the pretty colors and frills, ruffles, and picot sweetness!
Hi Angela, I love these declutter vlogs and you do motivate me. Don't listen to those who judge, don't give them airtime, don't give them brain space. Just take in and absorb the positive comments. Believe the positive and banish the negative. I wasn't as organised and I only had 3 kids to deal with. You're doing a fantastic job, you do so much and you do it beautifully. You are both wonderful parents.
When we moved in to our house last year I decided I wasn't going to shuttle laundrybup and down the stairs for little kids who where going to destroy their closets on a regular basis. We instituted a family closet. Everything get folded and put up in one place. I only have to go one place to dress everyone. The older childre can pick three days at a time and take them up stairs. It makes my life so much easier.
This!! This is something I have been wanting to do. The addition we are adding to our home will include more bedrooms. This will allow us to turn one of our current bedrooms into a family closet/dressing area. Which means our children's closets can be used for toy storage, a great idea all the way around and something I think all families, especially large ones, would benefit from.
AS A MOM OF 7... I appreciate these videos. What parents of kids with multiples like this don’t understand is it’s easy for things to fall behind. I catch myself doing this all the time and it’s so refreshing especially with big families to go through stuff! I admire you! ❣️
I know I'm way late to the party... but Rosie's blanket closet actually made me a little homesick for my childhood home. I'm 23, and we moved out of that house when I was 7, but something about the crowded comfy closet, love it. I would also weasel my way into there when we would play hide and seek. Thank you for the memory reminder.
Hi Angela! First of all.. Geesh on people’s negative comments! I used to have a TON of stuff. I naturally over time have converted into a semi minimalist... not because it’s “vogue” now.. but I have eight, soon to be nine children. I was so tired of having to be a slave to all the things. But I can’t believe the people who wanna complain. I think it’s great you did so much. I’m cheering you on! Good job lady!
This brought back so many memories of doing the same thing when my children were young, it's such a good feeling to have your home freshly cleaned and organized and trust me I so miss that stage of life as now it is just my husband and I
Thanks for sharing, we all have those gathering points where stuff just accumulate, especially with kids in the house. Thank you for being an inspiration. As the saying goes: “always strive for progress and not for perfection.”
This was the first video of yours I ever stumbled upon. A year ago, I was binging YT after losing our baby and I thought it might be calming to watch chaos turn to order. Then that song played, “Mostly All the Time,” and for some reason the lyrics fit in the broken places of my heart. I hunted the song down and downloaded it and actually hadn’t listened to it in a long time until this video popped up again. Rambling, but the point is to say how much your videos (because of course I binged your channel after this and have been a follower ever since) helped pull me through a dark time. So thanks. ❤️
Don’t let anyone make you feel guilty for your “shame spaces” everyone has them and you’re strong for showing them! I’m in the process of going minimal and my shame drawer fills up INFINITELY! But it’s taking the time to sit down and take care of it. Proud of you!
No judgement here. I only have one child and I am overwhelmed sometimes. Not sure how you do it with eight. I'm just thankful for you sharing the realness with us. It helps to not feel so alone in this.
I love what you said in the beginning of the video. A lot of people seem to forget they are talking to another person with feelings online. You are doing a great job!
Please ignore the haters! It amazes me how people will use their time to throw stones at someone else instead of cleaning out their own closet! You're inspiring and amazing! Keep up the great work! From one homeschooling WAHM to another!
I seriously appreciate seeing this process with you. It A - has motivated me to do it in my home B - makes me feel comfort in knowing I’m not alone and C - has given me some good organization ideas. THANK YOU ❤️
This has been the most motivating declutter series ever!! Don't pay attention to the flack. And hopefully as we declutter, it will help us to notice areas where we need to be wiser with our spending habits, or figure out WHY we are buying or storing so much. It's just a process, part of life. I own literally 6 pieces of makeup.... But I have boxes and bags of yarn everywhere... And I definitely need to pare down. Most of us have something.
You are superwoman , I am in awe what you achieve . Watching these videos gives me motivation to sort through my things . Please ignore the negative comments unfortunately some people are cruel and lack the ability to empathise. Thank you for sharing part of your life with us X
I am continually decluttering and organizing. I totally agree that it it a struggle. You can do anything you set your mind to do. The beauty of organizing is that it adapts to your families changing needs.
THE STRUGGLE! Sometimes I feel like by the time I get my kids drawers decluttered they've already outgrown another 30 things. On another note, I am just exhausted by reading people's judgmental comments on how much stuff other people have. One says you have too much, another says you threw out too much. You literally can't win. I'm just enjoying your positive outlook and hoping that if nothing else, I take a little of that away with me. So happy I found your channel!
I always find it very brave when people do videos like this because they show it ALL. It's so easy to watch this and go 'wow, so much stuff' but we all have a room like this. If it's not clothes or make up, it' something else. For me, it was books. Boxes and boxes of books, most of them not read and some still in the plastic package.
We had a closet of blankets and sheets and I got rid of nearly everything we have a wash and a change now we’ve got a big fluffy blanket each and 2 for downstairs for movie nights and that’s it I’ve got a storage bag and everything fits in their a lot better I coundnt believe how many sheets and quite covers we had I won’t buy anymore unless we need them then the others can be thrown away your doing great xxi hope you put your pillow slips and sheets inside your quite cover for each bed then just grab it and it’s all their together for each bed xx
Kathryn has the best tips! I have watching her for about 5 years. She has helped me become so much better organized. I am enjoying this series. My family loves blankets also, even the dog has her own. We did pare down before we moved. We still have a lot.
I really appreciate your honesty. I am also a blanket lover. My adult kids and their kids have sleepovers here but, in spite of that, I don't need all the blankets that I have. Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you for keeping it real. If you could only see some of our bedrooms that grown kids left behind. I’m finally getting around to tackle them. You give me inspiration! Don’t listen to the naysayers and judgers I for one appreciate I’m not alone in life! 🤗❤️
Loved what you said at the first part of the video. Some people just have to make rude, mean, senseless, etc. comments. I think this series is great. I absolutely love Rosie's bedroom furniture. Angela, just keep doing what you're doing. I love seeing your big family interact. Many blessings to you and your family.
I appreciate these videos. One: to know you are a normal woman and two: not to be discouraged when I feel like I'm not managing everything and three: it inspires me to go declutter and organize more 😊
Beautiful rooms. Love Rosie’s 🩰 bar and mirror. Perfect. I donated a sewing machine from my mother to a sewing camp. They name their machines so my mother is remembered. She is no longer with me but I am sure she would love the idea of starting future seamstresses. You are amazing.
You did a great job!☺️❤️ That’s a task getting all that done in one day. I have 4 and homeschool (3 under 5 years old) and it takes me a week getting clothes, toys and rooms cleaned. I love your declutter videos they are helping me also during my decluttering journey after so much chaos and unnecessary spending over years. God bless you and your beautiful family.
I love your declutter series. I just moved into a new house, and am also going through the process of decluttering because it's been stressing me out unpacking stuff that I don't even want in the first place anymore. Love seeing how your kiddos are also with you/watching you go through this process, and that it can also teach them now to analyze their stuff and declutter as well! Keep it up - I've been following you since the start of your declutter journey and I can't wait to see all that you continue to accomplish. Doing the whole house is such a large undertaking and I admire the goal you've set to get it done! Continue to be honest, and true to yourself...no disclaimers needed here. You got this.
I have lots of kid clothes and blankets. I just went through and organized my kids clothes. It felt so good. Now on to organizing the blankets. Then my clothes.... we just moved into my husbands Grandparents house a few months ago. It’s bigger than our old house with lots of family history. We love it, and Even though it’s bigger we are determined to not clutter it up too much. So still moving stuff in, but we are trying to be mindful of what we are keeping. You have been doing a great job and have been a big inspiration to me. 💖😊
Angela - you are doing an amazing job. You look lighter with each room you do. Just ignore negative comments . People who have negative things to say do not and cannot add any value to you , your family or your journey.
I can't believe you did all those rooms in one day. I would have to spread it out over 3 days. Well done! I had 5 kids, now all adults, but I would go through their rooms each season and that way the clean out and check for new season items was done at the same time. Your kids rooms are great, but I especially love Rosie's room. It is so pretty and calming. Loving the clean out series. It is motivating. Thanks. 😉
You have beautiful light for sewing or a reading nook in your bedroom. You could find a multifunctional table/build in padded seats and throw in some pillows😊
I am so proud of you Angela, decluttering is hard and you did several bedrooms. Mine was like one bedroom or less a day. They look so much better and I bet you feel so good.
Love the music you choose for these videos! So soothing & lifts my spirits! Can you leave the title & artist in the description box? Or maybe do a video on music recommendations?
Don't feel bad about the blankets! I crochet and feel your pain...we only have 6, almost 7, people. My children are also obsessed with blankets. You're not alone!
Yes, always put yourself in someone else’s shoes without judgment of the other people. I completely agree. I’ve enjoyed this series as a whole, Angie. Have a good week, Braniff’s. xo ❤️☀️🌸🦋
Rosie's room is adorable especially the rug . Loving the declutter series. Also I would be interested in you maybe interviewing and talking to your friend who helps teen mothers with clothes and baby needs. Not sure if there is anything like that in my community and it would be interesting to see how the whole thing works :)
Very elegantly said in the beginning 👍 I like the series! There is always room for improvement for everyone! For us, a move kind of made us declutter, but every spring and autumn I look through our rooms&stuff again when I deep clean. Good job! Keep going!! Hugs
I think you are doing amazing! I need to clean and declutter my home. There's only 3 kids here and it is super messy. I have a closet packed full of blankets. So you are not alone. You are doing great, momma!
I love your videos Angie! You have totally inspired me to GET RID OF STUFF!!!! I've had a total bee in my bonnet about decluttering my life, in part, thanks to you! And golly sakes! We all have lots of stuff! Especially in a large family! I have 5 kids and have an almost yearly yard sale and STILL! Oh. My. Goodness!!!
This is amazing! I just found your channel through Do it on a dime. I just want to say how tired I am of seeing picture perfect BS all over social media. This is real life people. Love it! Keep it up mama!
Yes I feel the hobby collection so much! My hobby is books, I only keep the ones I like and I will never get rid of them. Also love that you seem really down to earth and genuine, so many people put on voices for their videos and it annoys me so much.
We all have our “Monica’s closet” areas in our house and even our heads no judgment from honest and genuine people !!! A family closet in your laundry areas for the littler ones might simplify things for you!!!!!!!
I absolutely love all of this decluttering stuff. It is so fun to watch honestly. And honestly it's really cool to see how other people organize and decorate their homes.
Girl. Thank you for sharing! I don't even know how you keep up as well as you do. We are a family of 8 and laundry/toys/organization is my nemesis!!! I truly don't even know what everyone has. My laundry is never done. 😢 I admire how you how it together and manage to keep a beautiful home.
you have a lovely home and a open and giving heart with room for your wonderful children. To comment on your weakness for make-up like it's crack cocaine is very unkind. Thank you for making and posting these videos to help others that struggle with clutter and life in general. Keep going, gal!
I can see I'm not the only viewer who is aghast at the fact people are judging you for too much makeup or clothes or blankets or whatever. People get all high and mighty. I am enjoying your videos a great deal. You don't try to hide things. You share your clutter, you share the real facts of living this thing called life. I always heard when you are pointing a finger at someone, there are 3 more fingers pointing back at yourself. Those whiners are pointing at themselves. THANK YOU so very much for sharing. It encourages me.
You're doing great! I've been right were you are standing. The spending habits get easier and you will look back and realize you have Concord them. You will also notice the less you have the last time you're spending dealing with all the stuff you have and the more time you'll have to do other things. Praying for you! You got this.
Honestly thank you so much for being so honest in your videos, for the people who hate to get rid of the things we hold close to our hearts, I love your videos
I am off to clean out my moms home and your videos have given me a boost! My mom is going to a lovely senior facility but she cannot take very much. So we have the task of saving some of her things, donating and selling. My brother and I can get it done! Thanks for inspiring me🤗
My parents house also has blanket closet that is also overflowing!! That house gets really cold in the winter, so they were almost necessary when we were all there, and there were a ton of old family quilts.
Keep up the good work! You’ve inspired me to declutter my sons closet today and I just bagged up 6 bags of clothes/shoes in good condition and passed them onto a friend with two younger boys. I’m absolutely thrilled and so is she.
I love what you said as a reminder in the beginning. No judgement because we all have what seems like a flaw to another. As long as we recognize it and make improvements is what matters. So, a big high five ✋🏼to you. I also appreciate how you will help teen mothers. I would love to do the same, but I'm not sure where to find information on that.
I think you’re amazing and the way you run your household, love your family abs keep it real while still always looking gorgeous - you are an inspiration! Thanks for keeping it real!
I really appreciate you showing us the less than desirable clutter areas. It's good to know I'm not the only one, and it makes the video that much more motiviating!
I agree, this is getting me so pumped up because I have closets that look just as bad. Thanks Angela!

I’d love to see what you’d cook in a week for 8 kids! I think it’s fun to learn new recipes but to see what big families eat too
That song when you decluttered the twins room was just so nice! Usually, I don't really pick up vlog 'background' music but that one really got me :)
Elena And me! Never heard it before.
I went and found it and purchased it - a guy named Dan Pundak, the song is called “Mostly All the Time.”
I appreciate you showing the blanket closet.

I was the person who needed to know you had a messy blanket closet 😆😆😆 THANK YOU!!
I love the fact that you are so real and that you show the messy corners as well. That's real life. Thumbs up!
I LOVE Rose's room. It's so calming and pretty.
I am impressed. Thank you for donating and not trashing it. Many blessings
True I agree.....never talk about someone else’s life.....you never know what they’re struggle really is❤️
You are superwoman , I am in awe what you achieve .
De Bynum NC I just saw the adoption videos of Benjamin, I was in tears. Y’all are such a blessing, what a precious family. God is good. God Bless🥰
Kathryn has the best tips! I have watching her for about 5 years. She has helped me become so much better organized.
I am enjoying this series. My family loves blankets also, even the dog has her own. We did pare down before we moved. We still have a lot.
We are blanket people too! It doesn't seem excessive for the number of people in your house! Just needs some purging and organizing. You do you, girl!
These videos are speaking to my soul! Thank you for sharing AND for persevering when people were critical. You are awesome and such a blessing!
I love how real you are 💛 don’t let the haters get you down!
I am glad you showed us warts and all.....everyone has it, they just don't admit it - even to themselves!
Love your positivity and inspiration. Thank you for sharing your declutter.
Thank you for sharing, am that mom who needs to see am not alone and no one is perfect. We make the best of our busy life 😁
Don't feel bad about the blankets! I crochet and feel your pain...we only have 6, almost 7, people. My children are also obsessed with blankets. You're not alone!
Yes, always put yourself in someone else’s shoes without judgment of the other people. I completely agree.
I’ve enjoyed this series as a whole, Angie.
Have a good week, Braniff’s.
xo
❤️☀️🌸🦋
Rosie's room is adorable especially the rug . Loving the declutter series. Also I would be interested in you maybe interviewing and talking to your friend who helps teen mothers with clothes and baby needs. Not sure if there is anything like that in my community and it would be interesting to see how the whole thing works :)
Thank you for being vulnerable, honest, and willing to grow. It’s inspiring. 💕
I can't belive you have all those kids and still manage to get stuff done... I'm in awe of this. I have no kids and still find life challenging
Oh. My. Goodness!!!
So glad I am not the only one with a blanket issue. I feel your pain.
Well done Angela, one drawer, cupboard, room at a time, on a mission 👏👏. Thank you for sharing
I admire how you how it together and manage to keep a beautiful home.
you have a lovely home and a open and giving heart with room for your wonderful children.
I’m sorry people are judgmental meanies. Your an inspiration to me. I’m tackling my house one room at a time and I love blankets too!
Thank you for just being so real and candid. We adore your channels and family. Thank you ❤️
Honestly thank you so much for being so honest in your videos, for the people who hate to get rid of the things we hold close to our hearts, I love your videos
I am off to clean out my moms home and your videos have given me a boost! My mom is going to a lovely senior facility but she cannot take very much. So we have the task of saving some of her things, donating and selling. My brother and I can get it done! Thanks for inspiring me🤗
Am I the only one in love with little Rosies room. Gorgeous!
Great work Angie
I think you’re amazing and the way you run your household, love your family abs keep it real while still always looking gorgeous - you are an inspiration! Thanks for keeping it real!
