Thank you, thank you, thank you! Finally a woman showing the real struggle. I'm sick of videos showing a clean house with no children. My house is chaotic, loud, and dirty 5 minutes after I clean. I literally laughed so hard I cried when you were talking about lowering standards 😂 I got a vacuum robot for Christmas and it has been life changing. The crud and particulate on the floor just disappears while I sleep!

Lol I do something similar. If there's kids in the same room when I sweep, I give them a chance. If no one is in the same room, in the dust pan and garbage it goes. Everything I've thrown away has never been looked for so I know it wasn't wanted or needed 🤣!

I’m a piano teacher:) just a damp duster cloth is fine (really rung out) or even a dry cloth. No cleaning product needed. Hope that helps!

I did a solid bout of rage cleaning this weekend - cleaning done with garbage bag in hand. If it was still on the floor/under the couches after I asked the fam to clean up first... it went in the bag. If they can't take care of it, they don't need it.

It is an absolute miracle how you dance through life with so much grace and love, you’re so cool, calm and collected consistently, I’d be calm only for so long before I lose my shXt big time 😫 motherhood is such a thankless job but you just breeze through it with a refreshing sense of ease.

I love how real you make things because people arent perfect and of course people will want to show perfection to strangers on you tube, which honestly makes me feel like maybe I'm not a great mom. So I apperciate your videos! You always bring me joy, realising that having a spotless house, the baseboards always dust free, the kids hair is done up perfect everyday is not necessary. I would rather have my sanity than have a spotless house haha. Also I love how you are awkwardly holding your left hand as you clean the stove. I catch myself doing the same thing everytime im wiping the counters or the walls haha

Angela, can you do a video on how you handle or manage life when your kids are sick (ie: head colds, etc). I only have two kids and we live in Northern Minnesota. My kiddos are sick and I need some mom-inspiration. When my two are sick (coughs, runny noses, mild temps), I feel like I am drowning to keep them comfortable, fed, wiped, clean, hydrated, etc. 🥺❤️❤️

Thank-you for this real cleaning video! I can so relate to the frustration of toys in every corner and under furniture. I remember my mom fusing when she moved the couches. I think that is a good balance of chores. Looking back at my mother I realized how much us girls took over cooking and cleaning and I see she isn’t as picky now and I told myself. I don’t want to hand to much over to my children that it’s hard to start doing things when they move out.

I hope when you start updating rooms, you'll leave the beautiful wood moldings/window framing/cabinets instead of painting them white. The darker wood adds so much warmth and character to your gorgeous, old home. :)
we do plan to leave most wood untouched - I am testing ways to pull the red/orange out of certain areas- and we may paint kitchen cabinets, but it will all have a stone/brick/wood warm + homey feel :)

Girl, I feel you on so much of this. all the little toys drove me crazy when we had littles. Also, If there is anyway to cut out that cabinet to the left of the kitchen sink you can add a second dish washer. You will not regret it. Best decision we made for our kitchen.

You give mothers lots of tips that are helpful to the young and old alike! Dish pans are my friend too! I find so many uses for them! They are good storage units as well as a basket or even great for kids outdoor fun! A dish pan a little water and some plastic toys great job for getting kids ready with clean hands for dinner!

I relate to you SO much! My 14yo daughter loves to stand with me while I clean the kitchen and just chat. Normally after all my littles are down for bed, it’s my favorite time, I’m so thankful she talks to me the way she does.
