  • This old house, this abandoned house, was just asking for a quick exploration. Please join me as I take my flashlight and explore and search the many rooms and creepy attic of this old home. I see evidence of meth heads having robbed the copper pipes and wiring from throughout the entire house. I also see a remarkable number of bird nests. In the attic I almost get stung by a paper wasp and then I hear a very weird knocking noise but didn't realize how really strange it was until I got back and edited the footage. Not really sure who or what made that noise, but a nighttime exploration may be in order, what do you think?

In the attic there was a Sony V3 steering wheel & pedals in a box. That came out for PlayStation 2 right around 1999-2000. Kinda gives you a general timeframe. Awesome explore.

What an awesome old home...The stories this house and land could tell if only it could talk..You can tell by the daffodils some one loved to garden at one point just the way they and bushes and trees were planted..I love the old console tv up in the attic on left-hand side..what a beautiful up cycled fishtank that would make or table. And in the last bedroom the beautiful kitchen table and side table..I love to refurbish old furniture back to its original state..None of this would bright vivid colors....I live the old school country ,rustic and barn look(too each his own) I always find antique pieces and i truly try to find the story behind them..The owner who once loved and cherished and item, their journey ,and to make it beautiful again... Priceless..Sad how people have to trash something so beautiful.. Thank you for the awesome video..And the little chuckle "that's where they kept the bodies tied up in the cubbie...lol!..Looking forward to the metal detecting..Sending positive energy love and light! PGH PA.

It's a shame that beautiful old house has gone to ruin. We have a very similar one, the oldest part of which was built in the 1890s. We've done a lot of restoration. It's a comfortable and very livable space now. These old places need some love. They're worth it, and the history they hold shouldn't be left to fade and be forgotten. Big sigh.

What a cool building the Spring house was,so beautifully built..The old farmhouse still had good bones but was missing all the main necessities Running water by the looks of it,no bathrooms either..I think with it being so far away in the middle of no where ,that’s why it’s been abandoned ,so sad when a once loved home becomes empty and unloved..Nice explore Bo 😀

Wow I’ve never seen that many daffodils planted before! That’s crazy. I wonder if they farmed them or something? Each one of those plants was a hand planted bulb. They don’t spread. So why did they have so many? That’s really odd. That little spot where you saw prints on the wall could’ve actually been a hiding spot on the Underground Railroad. If they’d had removable boards to cover the hole on the bottom they could’ve hid a couple people in there. This was a beautiful place. Those fireplaces and the stairs were awesome. I imagine it was a really nice place back in the day. I was a bit confused by the upstairs room that the narrow staircase led to. It was two rooms. I imagine that was the original part of the house and the large room was for the parents and the small connected room with the stairs was for the kids? At least until they added the addition? Maybe it became like a master with a dressing room. Idk but it was really neat. Thanks for showing it to us!

Tours of these older houses are so interesting! Especially like seeing daffodils since they've always been my favorite flower. Had a friend in Georgia who's house was about a half mile from the road. He had planted daffodils along both sides of their winding driveway. In the spring, it was one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen.

Leann Kennedy there is a remote field back home where I grew up. No houses anything around but many many years someone wrote HAPPY EASTER in daffodils that could only be seen in Spring. The letters were about 10 long on the ground and it’s beautiful to see.

Such a lovely house. Is this usual in USA? I do not know enough about property in USA to know. Who would leave/abandon such a property? Why? Why not let a young couple live in it and restore it? It is crying out for a family to live in it. It seems bizarre to me that it should sit empty. Thanks again Beau for another great tour. I’ve learned more about raccoons from you than any nature channel. Especially their, Er, toileting habits. I’ve learned about poison ivy. About daffodils/roses being a probable sign of habitation near ruins. Spiders - those weird formations on the ceiling corners are like alien remains. About being especially cautious near “empty” buildings due to feral humans. To ALWAYS wear gloves! In these days & weeks of isolation and Lockdown, it is like getting out and about. Thankyou for a glimpse of an alternative America xx
