How about a one room at a time challenge? Like you have to complete a room entirely before moving on to the next one, and you can't go back once you've declared a room done. Bonus if you can only build a new room when you've finished the one you were working on.
@@augus6119 I mean one room at a time but with an overall budget so she has to try budget as she goes or else she will have to do the last room with nothing !
I love the way the roof looks mistakes and all! This house gives me divorced dad vibes with the brown living room and the stairs and not quite right colors gives the impression of home projects and I love it!!!
I was watching this video while doing my nails and when I made a mistake I thought "oh, I have to keep it" but then I remembered that is not me who is doing the challenge XD
That's always me with these kinds of videos! I'll watch some silly video like "Minecraft but I can only walk backwards", and for the rest of the day I'll keep doing whatever I do and occasionally thinking to myself "Oh, I need to walk backwards for this one!" even when it doesn't make any sense
As a variation of this challenge... no mistakes except at the end for every 10k spent you get to fix/change one thing. Obviously not adding in expensive things just for the sake of being able to make the alterations. Super expensive items either need to fit with the vibe/theme of the build or be declared at the beginning of the build?
WOOOO I was just binging rags to riches again - kinda wild to be running out of content when youve posted every day for years lol i admire your dedication and absolutely love your stuff!
I think it wouldve been fine to be able to put the counter back to where you placed it when you first put it down. Otherwise you shouldnt be able to move it all to place an item.
If it wasn't for Kayla I'd never have known about the bb cheats or Mccc. So, thank you Kayla. What would those of us who are just finding our feet playing The Sims 4, without you.
I don't think that moving the counters to place something, or "removing" the foundations count. Since they were placed AND they are being put back in the same place/way. Thanx for the fun video!!
the cabinet one shouldn't count because not only were you demonstrating but the original place of the counter was completely fine you were just trying to move the clutter
I think it turned out well. Even if it's not exactly how you wanted it, I like it. You're too hard on yourself. You like things perfect but it's okay to not have it perfect. I love your builds.
that challenge would be way easier with moveobjects off, in terms of stupid mistakes, but still challenging, since no moveobjects is a challenge in itself
I love your vids @lilsimsie you are so much fun and entertaining to watch, I don't really like watching people play the sims but you are just so entertaining 😂
The sims lack of matching wood swatches is why I almost always default to black or white for my houses where I use the wood. Not the floor but everything else like bannisters, windows, etc.
The best part about this challenge with Simsie specifically is that she is so used to building stuff for a video that she just forgets she's doing the challenge and fails it multiple times
As someone who lives in the medditerenian, I must say this build is like nothing we have here but I'll let it slide😹 I wish you did some research and really tried to build a medditerenian house since I rarely see our build style represented accurately
KAYLA you beat yourself up too much you perfectionist!!! I love the front of this house and the back!!! Realistic and good!!!! Plz the fence I also love 😮
Kayla you're overthinking your builds too much XD You put stuff down and say you hate it when it's the most normal and completely fine thing ever lol! Love your vids!
You know when you spend like an hour building something in the Sims. Then exit to manage worlds (which I’ve just discovered DOESN’T save the game) AND THEN YOUR GAME CRASHES FOR NO BLOODY REASON!!! 😭😭😭 Well that just happened
These are always a blast IIrc, you've made some bigger mistakes in this one, but it is a much larger house than you usually use for this challenge, and you handled them very well It also looks really good barring the couple of glitched placements
I so love the challenges that you come up with. I end up trying myself. I think cool to challenge yourself at stuff that you won't do or do just don't know. You are awesome. Thank you.
Despite the mistakes it looks really nice and you're so good at this! As someone who lives in the desert, the landscaping is nice and lush but very realistic and I appreciate it! Keep up the good work 🐰💕
I'd love to see you go back through and renovate these houses. You could even do it as a 'realism' challenge too, only fixing certain things and treating it as a true fixer upper. Leave the layout and shape but fix the glitches and misclicks. Kind of bringing it back to a "former" glory
I would love to see a No Mistakes starter home! I imagine it would be soooo much harder! 😂 Once she places an item...she wouldn't be able to delete it later to earn some money back
You should do a challlenge where you have 5 mins for each room, and once the 5 mins are up, you must move to the next room, and also, you'd have 5 mins for the esterior, which includes the backyard. You can also mix it with Plumbellas random things generator.
My toxic trait is thinking I could build a house without making mistakes and then making a bunch and feeling her pain about making them seem intentional.
I have a challenge idea: building from the roof down. At least a two-story house, and you have to build it from the roof first, then second floor, then first floor, and you can't go back and change the other level once you've moved on to the next one.
I feel like moving for the sake of alt placing out of slot is totally allowed because you HAVE to touch the counter in order to line up the decoration.
this challenge would be a dissappointing disaster with my OCD...lol - you done good girl!!! proud ofyou. It does look really nice even ifyou don't like it that much!
honestly, what I would've done is place bushes or something over the area that clipped - provided it looked good. sims should still be able to walk up and down the side that isn't clipping, and i wouldn't have to look at the visual glitch lol
See now I know I'm a good builder because simsie (unknowingly OBVI) replicated a house I made like a few years ago. I know its good taste if simsie does it
It would probably be easier to build it one room at a time, instead of making an outline and trying to carve rooms out of it. Also furnishing spaces before windows and doors are put in, and leaving roofing and wall coverings for later. And landscaping for last.
Now you should revisit this build and fix what you wanted to fix so we can see the difference! And see how big an impact the challenge actually had on your normal vision/process (:

I love this idea!
Oh this would actually be really interesting
This, but also with a budget
@@cathygraham8164 she has done this multiple times actually
@@augus6119 I mean one room at a time but with an overall budget so she has to try budget as she goes or else she will have to do the last room with nothing !
i want to see a no mistakes plus the black and white filter challenge!! no mistakes, and you can't see the swatches!!
Thats cruel. i like it 😁
Or no mistake and 10 minutes challenge
@@roxanelevasseur160 ooo that would be interesting
YES
I really Want Kayla to do a cow plant themed build 💚🖤🤍💚🖤🤍
omg yes
Genius✨
DO IT PLZZZZZ KAYLA!!!!!!!
Omg yes!!
Add real cows also, and make it a cowplant themed dairy farm.
The clipping staircase is the eyecatcher. It's a feature, not a bug. Don't worry about it.
real
it's an artistic statement
lol same but i am sketching out a floor plan 😹 my sister was like why cant you change it 😹
18:49 I love how you placed those paintings then immediately changed the swatch 🤣🤣
Same with when she placed that seasons cabinet in the bathroom 🤣
omg i didnt even notice 😂
Same with the umbrella table outside, it’s so easy to forget that you’re not supposed to 😂
Was about to say the same thing
she’s explained many times that she can place an item and change the swatch once. that’s how the challenge works.
Lol I can imagine a few ppl doing that 😄
That's always me with these kinds of videos! I'll watch some silly video like "Minecraft but I can only walk backwards", and for the rest of the day I'll keep doing whatever I do and occasionally thinking to myself "Oh, I need to walk backwards for this one!" even when it doesn't make any sense
I feel like you always make more mistakes at the end cause it’s going so well that you start getting more confident and less careful😂
Yup. Complacency is the mother of catastrophe.
Itd be really cool to see a series of Kayla renovating the challenge builds, to see whatd she do differently if it was a normal build.
I remember the last one when you accidentally placed a random column outside and then just built it into the house to pretend like it didn't happen😂
I remember the time she mislaced a bathtub. 😂
The trash can outside was PERFECT also I rly want to try this now
As a variation of this challenge... no mistakes except at the end for every 10k spent you get to fix/change one thing.

I think the counter didn't have to count, 'cause like Kayla said, is not rly her fault the slots are awful (but the bedside lamp definitely was 😂)
That Lamp Placement killed Me 😂😂😂😂😂
I think it wouldve been fine to be able to put the counter back to where you placed it when you first put it down. Otherwise you shouldnt be able to move it all to place an item.

MY FAV CHALLENGE
Same. I was way too excited when I saw what she posted. 😂
if i tried this challenge i’d genuinely probably break my computer😭😭 ur so much better than me
i would deadess throw my mouse omg
I don't think that moving the counters to place something, or "removing" the foundations count. Since they were placed AND they are being put back in the same place/way. Thanx for the fun video!!

I cherish these Sunday videos since there’s no stream today 😂😂
For those of legal age: Game idea! Take a shot every time she asks “Does this/that count???” 😂❤
Yess! These No Mistakes challeneges are my favorite challenge of yours!!
you should do a series of where you fix the mistakes your no mistake builds!
Kayla makes me want to play the sims everytime i watch her but i know i cant build that well😫
this house is actually sooo cute omg!!! i'd love to live in a place like this!!! (minus the weird clipping stairs but yk)
Challenge idea: get someone to make a build with "mistakes" (like a fridge facing a wall like you show in the video) and then try to "save" it 😂
I think it turned out well. Even if it's not exactly how you wanted it, I like it. You're too hard on yourself. You like things perfect but it's okay to not have it perfect. I love your builds.
Does anyone love when simsie does desert type builds.
Stanley NEEDS the hot dog mansion of his dreams🥹
18:48 Kayla u changed the swatch after placing it, that’s cheating
that challenge would be way easier with moveobjects off, in terms of stupid mistakes, but still challenging, since no moveobjects is a challenge in itself
I love your vids @lilsimsie you are so much fun and entertaining to watch, I don't really like watching people play the sims but you are just so entertaining 😂
I was drawing while watching this and for some reason when I made a mistake I went "oh no I can't erase that now- wait-"
These are some of my favorite challenge videos
I actually REALLY like the shape of this house!!
I love that there's a chimney with no fireplace
I actually LOVE the outside and aestheic of the outerior especially! Very cute and such a fun challenge hahah
omg kayla i love the totally dilberate little fence cutout for the trash can the details in ur builds is craaaazy
The sims lack of matching wood swatches is why I almost always default to black or white for my houses where I use the wood. Not the floor but everything else like bannisters, windows, etc.

yeah this is def “spanish style”
KAYLA you beat yourself up too much you perfectionist!!! I love the front of this house and the back!!! Realistic and good!!!! Plz the fence I also love 😮
I love this. There's no way I could do this challenge as I make a tone of mistakes, all my builds end up looking the same 😂
Kayla's no mistake builds are still better than the ones I spend hours correcting.

I actually love the house and the color scheme! Fixing the little things that got messed up would be simple and then the house is great!
"I'm going for Mediterranean....." *builds a suburban* 😝 ❤
We resort to comfort in stressful situations 😌

Simsie this video makes me so anxious

POSTED 30 SECONDS AGO? INSANE
MAI PFP!!!
This one is definitely my favorite building challenge, it’s so chaotic lmao
i’m so obsessed with the open layout lowkey it’s like a perfectly play safe house 🤣
18:46 we saw you 👀
These videos are always my favorite! Watching Kayla suffer is one of my favorite pastimes.
I clicked that notification so fast. SIMSIE VIDEO TIME!!!!! 🥳💜
@3:30 I was thinking that Kayla would add a patio/balcony but no. Straight for the diagonal roof piece 😂
19:15 you might say the office has a great personality
The number of times she says, "maybe I should place this here..." AFTER placing the object 🤣
I LOVED the video. I like the concept and in fact I did this challenge myself. The only problem i see... in art there is no mistakes.
I was wondering when you were gonna do one of these challenges again! 💙
I would love to see a No Mistakes starter home! I imagine it would be soooo much harder! 😂 Once she places an item...she wouldn't be able to delete it later to earn some money back

It's giving dog with a blog vibes! Love your videos!💕
Kayla: This is a disaster! I hate it. I'm so sorry!
Me: I grant it's not perfect but this looks like an incredibly solid build to me.
I have a challenge idea: building from the roof down. At least a two-story house, and you have to build it from the roof first, then second floor, then first floor, and you can't go back and change the other level once you've moved on to the next one.
It would be incredible to see a video where you revisit this construction and correct/change everything you wanted to correct and couldn't! 😊
Was waiting all day for this!!! We love a good simsie video
This challenge gives me anxiety haha I'm only 6 minutes in but idk if I can finish watching. LOVE YOU KAYLA lol
Moving things to place stuff is definitely allowed because it's not a mistake. It's something you would typically do.
this was really good. almost like a speed build
Definitely no reason to apologize for the umbrella stand, my not so berry sim lives in oasis springs and istg it is ALWAYS raining
This challenge is my actual nightmare.. you’re a stronger woman than I, Kayla!
you would have "visual glitch" the other side of the stairs too, then they would have been hidden and the same on both sides anyway 😅😊😂
I feel like moving for the sake of alt placing out of slot is totally allowed because you HAVE to touch the counter in order to line up the decoration.
Yes do no colors like all black and white and then put the color back you have no idea the color
Might be a hot take but this house is so cute
My day has gotten 10x better ❤❤❤❤❤
My queen
House did turned out looking great still. Well done! 😆
What's the command to change swatches without placing it down? 14:24
+ and - keys I believe. Also you can over over the item before you place it down to view the swatches
this challenge would be a dissappointing disaster with my OCD...lol - you done good girl!!! proud ofyou. It does look really nice even ifyou don't like it that much!

This challenge is the best by far 😂😂😂😂
Even with the mistakes this is still better than 95% of the houses I have built in The Sims
I would love a no mistakes TIMED challenge!!
next time, the plant floor and style should be a modern because this one kayla has already all the perks to understand if everything is gonna fit
It would probably be easier to build it one room at a time, instead of making an outline and trying to carve rooms out of it. Also furnishing spaces before windows and doors are put in, and leaving roofing and wall coverings for later. And landscaping for last.

Good morning and Happy St Patrick’s Day from Japan 🍀💚
Should do a tiny home no mistake challenge on House flipper, would be very interesting😂
