@gage__tm Agreed. As a scav main goblin who basically refused to extract early (unless I've over 500K loot), I had around 50-60% survival rate, and I could gain a million in 3 scavs, which later became hideout stuff. This so-called 'balancing' literally killed goblins like me.

I've tried reinstalling and everything but nothing works. Never had this before anyone know anything? This is only in PvE. I don't play PvP much but everything is fine there.
I wonder what ammos will be where. This never really gets talked about much but each wipe they do, they restrict further ammos from traders and hideouts too to an extent. For example, last wipe, m80 was peacekeeper 3 behind rev. lighthouse and m62t was peacekeeper 4. Now, m80 is rev. lighthouse questlocked at peacekeeper 4 and m62t is locked behind a mid-endgame craft. When I started playing, 7.62.39 ps was prapor 1 and that with a sks or vpo was the early game meta. It's now at prapor 3 and questlocked. I then switched to .366 vpo with eko ammo (rk-0 grip, walther sight, 30 rounders), but since then - the eko ammo is no longer jager 1, the 30 rounders aren't available any trader 1 and the handguard to add foregrips is no longer skier 1. Now I have two builds, a aks with no dust cover, 20 rounders and the 4x scope from prapor 1 with sp rounds OR the vpo with 20 rounders .366 fmj ammo from jager 1 and the gornastay scope. This is fine, I find it fun and it makes an enjoyable early wipe BUT with their rate of restrictions, I do worry what they've taken away this time. By the time you've read this, we likely would've already found out so fingers crossed it's an enjoyable wipe for us all
I’m fine with the outside of raid ammo limitations, it really increases the value of map knowledge. For example so many people don’t realize how great the smugglers camp on Shoreline is for ammo. I scav Shoreline and just skip resort in favor of the smugglers camp.
@@PuzoniCyclo the spawns are fantastic, at least last wipe they were, various AP rounds in small and large boxes, M855A1 in small and large boxes, 5.45x39 BP/BS/igolnick in small and large boxes are probably the most common. Small boxes of M61 or M62 from time to time also. It’s always looking for the Overseers key for dorms as well.
1:13 FYI drinking alcohol will make you freeze faster. But maybe if you are already safe it would make blood rush to the skin and help warming up the frozen fingers, not sure. Might be better to rub the alcohol on frozen parts.
No, it has no benefit when out in severe cold what so ever. The chemical burn may give a person the impression it is hot, it's not. Now, while freezing your liver and kidneys have to waste more energy processing alcohol. It's a sure way to get hypothermia.
The removal of flea and doing FIR for the hideout was always in the game, people just lacked the discipline to not use either because they want to get through the early game faster than their peers to have a distinct PvP advantage. Which is where you get the " Early game is the best part" crowd
BSG is as always, disconnected from reality and their playerbase, still catering to whiny streamers and wild vodka fueled ideas to dictate the EFT experience for the rest of the community who lean more to the casual side. When will they understand that people want to play their game but they ruin the experience along with cheaters who will return in numbers probably in less than 7 days after wipe. It's always the same. We had a small group of 10ish people playing Tarkov together since 2020, now there's no one left, everyone moved to other games because they had enough crap.
tired of battlestate disrespecting my time, I should be able to buy my hideout if I don't have time to find all of the items, I should be able to play arena and make decent progress, this game is just turning into rust 2.0 where if you don't play every single day, you just get left behind by streamers and no lifers who powerlevel to crowned traders in a week and get gear checked by them. the most "fair" tarkov has ever been when flea was unlocked. all of these flea changes and hideout changes accomplish absolutely fucking nothing but limit what casual players and people who don't have time to spend dozens of hours a week playing tarkov can get.
Absolute truth. If you are not a nolifer with unheard edition/eod you simply cant play pvp since making money is essential and you cant make money buy finding hideout gear and selling them om flea,so only way to make money is going to hotspots with good loot which is infested with 4 guy squads with endgame gear.Tarkov PVP does not respect your time in any way, time or manner.
I think the flea market change is good. Not the one with the Hideout. But that's just me, I just don't feel like finding 20 motors and 111 energy-saving lamps. Provided the ‘costs’ haven't changed, of course. Let's see how it plays out.
it really sucks that they still haven't fixed the variable scopes and the sensitivity bug. its really frustrating to not be able to use any variable scopes simply cuz they messed up the sens
If they went through the trouble of a new PP-19 Vityaz model and all, why didn't they add a Bizon magazine for it? The magwell is a little different from what I understand, but it'd be nice to have a reason to use the 9mm SMG with the PAINFULLY SLOWEST muzzle velocity, at least give it sustained fire capability etc.
I am not able to load a ground zero raid, at 99% loading map the game explodes. All other maps works well. Does anyone know what might be the problem? It sucks because all quests are lock behind those on ground zero...
NAH FiR Hideout item is soooo stupid. Like I'm not even going to attempt to find crap ton of Bulbs and wires and stuff with mystrious spawn rates. (like when you need something, you won't find that item. If you DON'T need something, you will find like 10 of them in a single match.) Not going to touch this game until they change this bs back.
Yep same here, any interest I had in this wipe immediately died. I’m not trying to spend hours of my life farming loot spawns hoping the RNG gods smile upon me so I can finally upgrade my workbench
Hideout upgrades being limited to FIR only dramatically downgraded the usefulness of Flea. No point buying most barter items now, unless they're specific to gear people want. And I feel like that's a lot more fickle than farming and selling gear people needed to upgrade hideouts.
I think the flea and hideout changes are absolutely going to push for a better gameplay experience. People will complain because it makes the game harder. But this change will change how raids play, I think extend the time people spend in raid, change your priorities going into raid. If anything I’m absolutely for it to experience something different. I played in 2018 before flea and the game felt a lot different but it did not feel bad. I think this will be one of the most interesting wipes to play in many years.
I like the flea things, just not the hideout. I don't mind difficulty, I have 4k hours and am still learning and that's a part of the game. The RNG of loot means that regardless of my skill I could be hideout cucked by wires or bolts or something even if I played 3 hours a day. I only get 1 or maybe 2 a day after work and that just makes significant hideout progress nigh impossible before the next wipe comes and as much as people can cry "this game isn't for casuals" the backbone of any community are the casual enjoyers who silently populate your lobby. You can't have a successful game without casual players, or (to a slightly lesser extent) without hardcore players. You have to have both for a game to thrive and driving out casuals is a horrible business model that BSG have been holding onto for too long
@@stretchedapart Pve was the reason I came back and I also loaded up arena ( I suck I get like 1 kill in 15 minutes because my reflexes aren’t what they used to be. Like I’m seriously shit) I finally unlocked flea on pve and I told my mate “ now I can finally buy some of the stuff I can’t find out of raid and get this hideout thing going” I never bothered with hideout back when I did play pvp because I didn’t understand jack shit about it when it first came in the game. I don’t survive much pve raids either I simply suck at the game but have fun, do a scav run for some stuff on streets and sell it on flea. Buy some ammo and stuff I need for hideout and go back in. My goal was to just get the hideout upgraded to a point I can make my own ammo and stuff and that I can go in raid to just fight scavs and pmc without caring about stuff anymore. In pve I’ll still eventually get there but because of the flea changes it will take me a year longer I suppose. Wires aren’t much of an issue tbh because you can make them in the hideout too, just wish I had found a single gpu prior to the flea locked up because my mate told me they sell for massive ammounts. Would have been nice to make a profit. I got this key worth 11 mil but couldnt sell it because I needed 3.5mil fee to sell it. Which I didn’t have.
About the flea change: don't you think it actually benefits people who have lots of time to play? Nobody get flea market, but the guys who can play non-stop will quickly get traders leveled up, so they will have consistent access to decent kit from the traders while everyone else is forced to scrounge-- for a full two weeks. I really hate the flea market lockout: IIRC didn't they originally do it to make it "more difficult" for people to do market bots? (IE you can't just quick-roll a new character every time you get banned?) It clearly doesn't help with botting much, and it continues to just make the game weird for late arrivals. I'd prefer to have fleamarket open by default, with a two-week cap on trader level or something. If they want the early-wipe experience to persist, why not force everyone to use shit gear for a period of time instead? All a fixed-duration flea lock does is make it even more of a big deal to quickly level the traders... so it does more to incentivize no-lifeing-- not less.
They definitely needed to nerf enforcer costs. People run around hyper aggressive with a saiga or sost while multi layering deathshadows with other face protection on top of lvl 6 plates. Unless youre shooting the absolute best ammo in arena you are at a total and clear disadvantage.
yea, but casuals like myself who work full time and overtime are basically unable to do the hideout now. by the time I find all the lightbulbs, wires, and misc trash I need to get the hideout going the wipe will be right around the corner. I have on average like 200-300 hours per wipe to play, assuming I play most days (which I really don't so it ends up being even less) and that just isn't realistically enough time to do much hideout progress with the FIR changes. The flea restriction for 2 weeks is great though
21:00 No Giga, thats just lazy. They could have looked it behind a taskline or something like that, but time locking things is just bad design. They are just too stupid to come up with good solutions. I can fix this in 5 minutes without this kind of cheap time gating, for no other reason than to slow you down.
I love both the flea change and hideout changes, I do think the hideout could be annoying but super excited actually to grind this one haven't touched a wipe in like 3 wipes
I like the sound of the flea/hideout changes but will have to see how it plays out. More items will have meaning after lvl 15 rather than just grinding for money to buy hideout upgrades.
the hideout change just hurts casual players disproportionately by forcing them to either spend all their in-game time looking for basically garbage or giving up hideout progress. The hideout has always been my casual lifeline. I can make some money with a couple GPU's in the BTC farm and craft some mid-tier ammo so I can stay competitive while only having an hour or 2 a day to play. Now I don't have that to rely on the game is a lot harder to enjoy, and I'm not just bad. I have 4k hours and have played since pre-flea but now I have a life outside of gaming and still want to enjoy one of my favorite games but every restriction they make to the flea or ammo or hideout seems to do little to nothing to hurt the no lifers and streamers and keeps making it much harder for me to enjoy the game without dedicating half my free time to it.
Hideout FIR changes is bad, great way to screw the casual players even more. Also the flea changes is just a bandaid to fix the overall problems with it, this is not a solution.
I think these changes and experiments are exactly what the gameplay loop within EFT needs. Last wipe was so boring tbh, the game in its current state is literally just a money farmer. There's no incentive to looting in raid for any kind of specific gear or items. The entire game is just : "money farm and buy everything I want from the flea"...Looting SHOULD be a bigger part of EFT, found in raid should be crucial, you should have to be constantly searching for items and gear to USE rather than just grabbing everything that is the best price per slot. These new changes already sound like they could lead to many more exciting changes in the future....Ideally I would love to see the flea market either removed or heavily restricted, so many of the games systems just function so much better without the flea.
i like the flea ban tho i still say i would like to see it made barter items only as a real test to not have access to ammo weapons and armor but i really don't like the hideout changes this feels like a way to slow down the power gamer at the cost of the little guy once again it really has taken the wind out of sail for PVP I was going to give it a shot but now I kind of feel like im going to just stick with PVE
I’m really not a fan of the FIR for hideout change at all. Tarkov is grindy enough for the average player already without having to spend hours farming toolbox RNG for lightbulbs only for it to get wiped a few months later. It will also reduce PvP because everyone is going to find an item they need for their hideout and immediately want to go extract. Also makes playing on standard edition even more untenable, they have less space to store all the items they will eventually need and also now have an even longer grind before they’re able to get stash upgrades.

@mosin9349 the abandonded village on woods and the rooftops of building 1 2 and 3 in the water treatment plant are also good
@@PuzoniCyclo can’t say I knew about good ammo spawns in the abandoned village, thanks
@mosin9349 no worries mate!
Tbf I didnt know about the smugglers base having good ammo spawns either 😄
@@PuzoniCyclo the spawns are fantastic, at least last wipe they were, various AP rounds in small and large boxes, M855A1 in small and large boxes, 5.45x39 BP/BS/igolnick in small and large boxes are probably the most common. Small boxes of M61 or M62 from time to time also. It’s always looking for the Overseers key for dorms as well.
Still no ref in PvE?
So how was your day in hunt?
Hideout FIR is wack for casuals. I have never looted a multitool.
Multi tools and other items like factory map and etc don’t need to be FiR for the hideout station, just normal barter items.
I can’t load up a raid at all without the game crashing while loading in. Game ran smoothly before the patch today. What should I do?
A bigger issue is they removed a ton of stuff from Ragman. One of the big items is they removed the death shadow mask.
gigabeef, my GOAT when checking tarkov news and related content
I think the flea market change is good. Not the one with the Hideout. But that's just me, I just don't feel like finding 20 motors and 111 energy-saving lamps. Provided the ‘costs’ haven't changed, of course. Let's see how it plays out.
Hopefully you love farming bolts and wires. You need like 30+ of each.
@@Lowaverwill be massive oof for standard accounts. I don't have the Stash space to hold all that garbage lmao
@@drewpydrewdrop3841Scav junk box. Most good players will have like 3 regardless for quest items

it really sucks that they still haven't fixed the variable scopes and the sensitivity bug. its really frustrating to not be able to use any variable scopes simply cuz they messed up the sens
It sucks because all quests are lock behind those on ground zero...
flea change is good, hideout fir change is VERY bad unless that add a more reliable way to get certain items.
NAH FiR Hideout item is soooo stupid. Like I'm not even going to attempt to find crap ton of Bulbs and wires and stuff with mystrious spawn rates. (like when you need something, you won't find that item. If you DON'T need something, you will find like 10 of them in a single match.) Not going to touch this game until they change this bs back.
lol
Yep same here, any interest I had in this wipe immediately died. I’m not trying to spend hours of my life farming loot spawns hoping the RNG gods smile upon me so I can finally upgrade my workbench
That's hilarious, see you on the game in an hour.
@eightlights4939 Nah I mean that
@@eightlights4939 i was about to say that, by the way he speaks, his going to be the first to join usec lol
Think I'm stupid I can't figure out how to do the continues healing :-(
Won't making the hideout items only found in raid mean they have essentially no value on the flea?
not all but yeah
[21:36] - 'Find it all yourself'-aka Tarkov's way of saying, 'Good luck, you're on your own!' 😂 Time to scour every corner for duct tape and bolts. 🛠
They are locking a new weapon behind an old event? What kinda bad decision is that?!
they went down the route of FOMO events and such.
Hideout upgrades being limited to FIR only dramatically downgraded the usefulness of Flea. No point buying most barter items now, unless they're specific to gear people want. And I feel like that's a lot more fickle than farming and selling gear people needed to upgrade hideouts.
Nikita’s mother isn’t found in raid so she cannot give birth to poor little Nikita
KH in russian words always sounds like H. Horovod.
ZH always sounds like S in viSion, meaSure.
I think this will be one of the most interesting wipes to play in many years.
issue is the raid timer isn't what it used to be, so good luck finding shit while also killing an army of scavs.
nah
It’s going to shorten time in raid not extend it… people will find an item they’ll need soon and immediately leave
Like I’m seriously shit)
I finally unlocked flea on pve and I told my mate “ now I can finally buy some of the stuff I can’t find out of raid and get this hideout thing going” I never bothered with hideout back when I did play pvp because I didn’t understand jack shit about it when it first came in the game.
The hidden exfils feel lazy …. It’s just old extracts but you have to find an item to use them.
I finally got achievement for killing the goons and it broke big pipe so I alt f4ed to try and fix it and lost my achievement :(
About the flea change: don't you think it actually benefits people who have lots of time to play?
Decided to get pve and hop in yesterday after 2 years of not playing. First raid get domed 20 seconds in by a scav named krampis. 10/10
They aren’t changing the throat hitbox? Damn
10:35
I wonder if when someone joins your hideout you can see them there
Interchange will be popping so damn hard now!!!!!
This is unheard of! Nothing will get me back to tarkov after what they did.
I can’t wait to see the winter clothing
good thing about this is hyperr rushers are slowwed to the public pace
yea, but casuals like myself who work full time and overtime are basically unable to do the hideout now. by the time I find all the lightbulbs, wires, and misc trash I need to get the hideout going the wipe will be right around the corner. I have on average like 200-300 hours per wipe to play, assuming I play most days (which I really don't so it ends up being even less) and that just isn't realistically enough time to do much hideout progress with the FIR changes. The flea restriction for 2 weeks is great though
Going to need another fir LedX for meditation. Why
21:00 No Giga, thats just lazy. They could have looked it behind a taskline or something like that, but time locking things is just bad design. They are just too stupid to come up with good solutions. I can fix this in 5 minutes without this kind of cheap time gating, for no other reason than to slow you down.
Is it though?
they should do you can only go to your friends their hideout that would make more sense
I love both the flea change and hideout changes, I do think the hideout could be annoying but super excited actually to grind this one haven't touched a wipe in like 3 wipes
They ruined tarkov for me ngl. No FIR items for hideout upgrading and No flea for two weeks? Game is dying if it isn’t dead already
Wait 7N39?! ruclips.net/video/MIMTg3uoe80/видео.html either they misspelled 7n40 or they added a new round without saying.
Surprised they didnt add phynilpiracetam for frostbite its russian made nootropic
Nearly 10 years in beta lmao
Why do i feel like their player count is dropping drastically.
so crafting hideout upgrade items suddenly makes sense. I've always been keen on maxing the hideout so feels like my kinda wipe
Most, MOST Hideout required upgrades items aren't craftable. You and your two chromosomes are what's wrong with Tarkov 🎉
alcohol makes frostbite worse irl x__x
what if we transit to terminal........
Hideout FIR changes is bad, great way to screw the casual players even more.
Also the flea changes is just a bandaid to fix the overall problems with it, this is not a solution.
so I'll be living in a hole in the ground the whole wipe? nice I guess...
so they give us an AT weapon, so BTR can be fucked with now?
Yws, you can blowup the BTR now
12:46
hehe nice
wow good video
Keep a % of skills on prestige through wipes sounds terrible
Thanks for the summary, Il be skipping this wipe
And get ready, the hottest new band to come on stage tonight: 14:21!
Yea I think they need to heavily restrict flea market and then create the auction for all of the banned and off limit items.
lmao cope
THIS WIPE GONNA COOK
“Guestures” hahaha
I'm not sure how I feel about this wipe, feels lackluster content
Yup off to deltaforce.
Fucking over casuals again... 😢
About as wild as a house cat
so... no point to play arena anymore. all good stuff is now at lv 4 and everything was nerfed. good! i will not bother to unlock REF.
FULL AUTO SAIGA WOOOOOOOOOOO
Well there goes making money off of hideout items in the flea….
Seems like another wasted wipe with not many changes sad
i like the flea ban tho i still say i would like to see it made barter items only as a real test to not have access to ammo weapons and armor but i really don't like the hideout changes this feels like a way to slow down the power gamer at the cost of the little guy once again it really has taken the wind out of sail for PVP I was going to give it a shot but now I kind of feel like im going to just stick with PVE
Just ban the flea market full stop. All if the sweat Lords will actually have to go out looting then.
PVE doesn't track, only Onlineserver or Coop. Played 2 rounds Lighthouse for nothing, thx BSG
Omfg the flea changes/hideout build changes are amazing! I cant wait to see the tears on reddit, lol ;D
games not dead. i havent played for 18 mnths, and by god its getting close to death.......just finish it bro.
Sweet a shotgun at lvl 4 traders, what a joke
