Google still needs to work on their videos as they still have tons of grains and sudden exposure shifting issues.
For real man, the back camera had so much grain on it it’s ridiculous. In broad daylight it should not have that much noise
That's a sensor issue. Not a software issue.
unfortunately Pixel 6 pro 4x zoom is better, sharper and clearer than Pixel 7 pro 5x zoom. this is a huge downgrade and a loss as a 4x on P6P was good for portrait shots with natural bokeh. Because of this I'm thinking of selling P7P and buying P6P.
Fully agree with you, I noticed this in other comparisons too, yet the reviewers seem to not talk about it.
I love the 4x on my 6 Pro for shooting people, pets and cars. It's a high quality sensor and a real shame that google chose extra magnification over quality.
Google ist known to improve this Kind of stuff with software Upgrades.
Was surprised at this too. 5x on the p7 pro seemed very soft for video. I've also purchased a p7 pro (coming form standard p6)
@@MangoAlexando you cannot improve it because Samsung 5x sensor is smaller and bad quality if you compare it with Sony 4x sensor from P6P
@@miketyson4633 you can improve everything. Google did the same with the 4x Sensor on the 6p so they also can do it with the 5x on the 7p. Sure it might not get better than the 4x but it will be better than shown in the video

Definitely some improvements on the 7 Pro, especially in terms of that flickering you see on the 6 Pro. Makes me glad I didn't upgrade to the 7 Pro though, think I prefer the 4x zoom on the 6 Pro, pretty sure it's a larger sensor too though Google seem cagey about the size of the zoom sensor.

Note: The pixel 6 pro is one year older and had many updates of camera regarding improvements
Where as pixel 7 pro released just 10 days ago and your expecting it on par with an one year older fully upgraded device That's why there providing some updates to fix those bugs
Pixel 7 pro is very contrasty, making the scenes darker. They brought this back again this year.
I've watched 5 million videos comparing these phones but this one is very clearly the best and gets to exactly what I wanted which is a comparison between the front camera videos especially with the frame rate difference and the background shutter and motion flickering on the 6 but not the 7. Anyway thanks so much. This is perfect and I am now going to go by the new phone.
What did you buy?
I bought a Google Pixel 7. I love it. It is a perfect phone. I can honestly say there's not a single thing I don't like about it. The cameras for still shots and videos are phenomenal and the microphones for recording video sound are excellent. Maybe the only complaint I have is that I don't use the built-in camera app for video. I use third party apps because they do a better job of remembering prior settings and they are weirdly a little better sometimes. But whatever, we all use third party camera apps.
I've seen so many of your reviews lol, it feels like I've been to those streets myself. Especially the night videos 😂

You need to use main camera, not telephoto!

The pixel 6 pro takes amazing portaits using it's 4x telephoto with natural bokeh(without portait mode) .. since 7 pro's telephoto sensor is changed , may i know 7 pro can take these kind of shots?

There's definitely some clear differences between the 2 devices in terms of camera. Not sure If it's worth the upgrade just yet. Maybe the pixel 8 pro will be the needed upgrade. Anyways, great video man 👍🏼

At 13:05, I really don't think the pixel 6 is using the main camera, it looks identical in quality to the ultrawide shot right before. I know my pixel 6 has a tendency to switch lenses later than it probably should.

Just bought a P7pro for about £500 (in Australia) but honestly not sure how great it is, seems like I only prefer the camera over my old Xiaomi Mi 10. Might just return it and buy a P6pro for £350...

You think the 7pro will get updates soon to address some of the problems the stills look better on the 6pro better colour like the field shot with the trees and bushes in the back lighter green better colour on the 6pro. Where as the 7pro has darker greens and more contrast ??? Thanks

I heard pixel caught up to iPhone in terms of video.. this is obviously not true after seeing this video .. like like I'm still gonna rock my 4xl until they get their act together... 4xl alll day and twice on Sundays!
The exposure pulsing seems worse on the 6 pro than the 7 pro. The zoom, however seemed sharper on the 6 pro for video.
