I absolutely love the fact that you did the first camera comparison with the Pixel 7 vs the S22U instead of the iPhone. I still really want to see the Pixel 7 vs the iPhone but this was very very smart to put the two top Android phones together first. I definitely tip my hat to you. Outstanding work.
Are they the two top ?
@@imbalancedstatus8824 in the US, unequivocally
As usual great one! Keep it coming!
The biggest take away for me is how Samsung is always the first major release of the year and can stand up to every phone that is released after it,.
nearly 8 months older & still believe over all except may be in some video..
It can stand up to but not win.
And it will most certainly do that this year only difference is they're standing over every phone that releases this year 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 #WordUp
Seemless camera recording was nailed on my Huawei mate 20 pro some 4 plus years ago.
Personally I think the pixel 7pro, Samsung s22 ultra and iPhone 14 Pro are all very close in terms of cameras and for most of us it will just come down to personal preference rather than one having a significant advantage over the others
I said I wasn't going to watch any videos on the 7 until mine came in but damn it I can't help it.
Also where the "quick run" merch at???
9 month device still quite clearly overall beats the latest Pixel. Great job Samsung
Not true. Pixel wins here plus its $899 while Samsung will run you over a $1200
Samsung batteries go boom🤣🤣🤣
@@aswinanil3462 just like apples phones boom 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We in here!
I see the s22 ultra better over all.
Amazing work, mate! I was impressed how better the video performance is this year!
All of this is wonderful but with the phones being so equal in so many ways the zoom is what always captures me. Once I play with the zoom on the Ultras the zoom on the pixel or the iPhone leaves me wanting more. And of course unless you compare photos side by side no one will know the difference in the ultra, S21 which I own, does such a great job I don't really need a minor Improvement. Now if the pixel would come out with at least a 50x zoom then maybe we could talk. Once more and excellent and Well Done video. You have a friend in Columbus Ohio!
Love this Ben, appreciate the effort. 👊🏾
Oh man, I've been waiting for your video! I had a question for ya and hope you can direct me... What pieces or kit do you use to hold your phones so perfectly in place for your comparison vids? I love how perfectly aligned yours are! I want to do the same with my S22 compared against my Pixel 7.. Cheers! 👌🙏
as an s22 ultra user the only thing i envy in an iphone is the 4k cinematic mode on the front camera. its really a missed opportunity on both the pixel and s22 although the s22 has 1080p i would have loved to have an update where it will shoot 4k.
This is definitely the right comparison, got a lot of clarity on most of the things.
Once again thanks for an amazing camera comparison .
🙌🏾 Ben you never play on these comparisons. Well worth the wait🍿🤓
Great in depth comparison, I love how detailed and how much footage from the devices you got in this video, easily earned a sub!!
Thanks for the sub ✊🏿
Great review! Thank you so much!
This video is really awesome and scientifically made. The best camera Review of the pixel 7 pro that i have seen
nice video, great work.. lots of information well appreciated.
Wow! Just got yourself a sub! I'm so on the fence between upgrading from the note20 ultra to the s22/23 ultra or the 7 Pro. The 7 Pro looks so good
Great comparaison ! Nice work
You had my thumb up at around 0:10 due to your instant sympathetic way of presenting.
Main camera low light video is really impressive on the Pixel 7, whoa.
So much detail and texture still while the S22 is just mushy.
That's cause he hadn't switched on the automatic low frame rate mode for low light video on the S22 Ultra. My low light videos look miles better than this
@@gjna5143 what's that? I also have the s22 ultra, how to turn it on?
@@Udayveer_Singh Open video in the camera app and then open settings top left. First option at the top is called 'auto fps'. Toggle this on.
Also, in low light, shoot in FHD 60fps, it is the best option for low light video. FHD let's in more light than 4k as it needs less data to process. You can clearly tell the difference.
Very good, comprehensive video and photo tests. I could be happy with either phone. Thanks.
Don't know what you did with the night time video on teh S22 Ultra but mine does not look this bad. Did you have the 'auto fps' function toggeld on in the camera settings? It vastly improvedls low light video, especially when you shoot in FHD 60
i have the galaxy 22 ultra and i am feeling the software its clean.
Love what I'm seeing so far with the Pixel 7 which we all know will get even better with future updates
Another Banger video! Man Im really digging the pixel 7 pro, it's a bigger upgrade than I expected
Great video! S22 ultra user here. One thing about the s22 is at least 50 percent of the photos I capture of a moving subject are blurred which is a big deal for me since I have a one year old. I think pixel 7 is probably much better in this regard so I'm thinking about switching.
Yeah samsung has some shutter lag issue. I always capture moving subjects by swiping down camera button. It takes multiple photos.
Thank u for the camera reviews! However would like to see more of its zoom capabilities samples since Google boasts about its revolutionary software enhancements features
Thanks bro, your video help me to choose which to go with, can wait for s23 now
these comparisons are the way it should be done!
Wow Google's come a long way with video.
Having met you personally mate I think the Pixel goes a bit hard on the contrast with the selfie but let's be fair anyone buying the new Pixel won't be disappointed with this video turnout.
Brilliant job as always mate 💪
Jezus what video did everyone watch!?🤣 The S22 Ultra was miles better in daytime video
@@gjna5143 I think pixel colors are more true to life, but I noticed it suffers a lot from lens flaring and they absolutely need to fix it. In terms of details and shadows the s22 does better
Very good video man congratulations
Just found your channel. So good content. Thank you!
Glad you enjoy it!
Nice comparison my brother!
Hey mate, great video. I couldn't tell from your video, did you try the 10-bit HDR mode? I'm really loving it at the moment
For the pixel that is
I will try it in a different video
The Pixel 7 Pro overall has the better cameras, but much less of an advantage of I thought it would have. Samsung really has improved the S22 Ultra via updates a lot!
And to think the s23 is gonna be way better! Pixel should have aimed higher! All the iPhone has to do is drop a 10x or even 5x zoom and it’s over!
@@therealboogie23 idk 200.mp.sensor it's not.gonna do.great in low light and certain situations and remember this google out here.putting in work.in the zoom.department where samsung got a 10x and a 3x just to.show.yoy google.different
@@gwendolynagrispin3187 Yes, don’t get me wrong for the software and hardware Google is bringing to the table in that price point it’s a home run for NEW people into the high end market but for somebody who loves tech and knows tech it’s hard to get me to switch I have experience with Samsung for years before iPhone 13 Pro Max got me to come back to apple I think google is playing it safe but that will work for new people getting into the high end market not people who are already in it!
Lol, clearly does not. What video did you watch?
@@gjna5143 utlra 22 got to telephoto lens right that fact that Google using software to a point where the comparing then that shows you some thing yah be likeing photos that he ode colorful when it don't be like that in real life
Great video! Always a joy to watch your camera comparisons.
I gotta say I'm disappointed that the Pixel's portrait mode at 2x still looks so oversharpened and just bad... I have a Pixel 6 Pro and I was curious if they would fix this problem with the P7. However other than that, I think the phone did pretty good.
Shouldnt be available plenty of gcam mods for pixel 6 pro with better results?
great comparision. ❤
Ben you are the best!
Great take. I'm torn between the Pixel Fold and Fold 5. I'll wait until next week but I'll probably go with the more refined device. The next Pixel Fold will likely address the first gen issues.
Audio on Galaxy S22 Ultra ♥
Great and thorough video AAA +
Best comparing video 👌
The comparison I've been waiting for
My bro✊🏿🙌🏿
Excellent review! I'm very impressed with this year's upgrade to the Pixel 7 Pro's camera and sleek looking watch and phone design my best friend is a huge fan of the Galaxy S22 ultra I have had several iphones in the past and I have to say in 2022 there are no wrong decisions I think the Google pixel 7 pro and also iphone 14 pro the way they look are great accent pieces to the fashion sensitive I have sold my fair share of cell phones in the past at the cell phone market with that said I have also had the chance to play around with the Samsung S22 Ultra and I have to say with the OLED screen for hi res HD gaming is just buttery smooth to be honest I like all three versions and updates for this years phones no matter witch one you choose to go with none of them are bad choices infact it's the exact opposite of bad and this year all three companies are looking really good 👍 as sort of a tech buff it's going to be an interesting event when Tesla joins the cell phone market, there smart device are supposed to be compatible with there self driving vehicles Neuro link and Elon Musk's satellites that are supposedly never suppose to drop a signal from anywhere on earth and strangely enough is rumored to work on mars, jeez now that's some tech for ya I'm still waiting for the day where a phone can be laid flat and can project an augmented reality holographic display like this would be perfect watching NFL or college football games with a group of people hovering arounf the coffee table could you imagine the break room or work your boss better not see that thing Haha now let's all try to get some work done enjoy the tech another thumbs up review, laughs 👍
I prefer pixel 7 pro value for money
Naaaaa the way how the 5x shot cleared up at 5:54 is actually freaking crazy. Holy
Nice. very great work in the video. pixel good job. Let's see what happens in S23 ultra
Great review. So far so good with the Pixel 7. They both did well, but the Pixel did better in stabilization and not crushing the shadows.
Dude, Pixel was washed out AF
@@gjna5143 I said it did better in stabilization and shadow. I did not mentioned the quality. Also, I have the Snapdragon s22U and it looks a bit sharper than the Exynos version he is using in the video.
@@Marlon_J S22 does not crush the shadows at all, it highlights them perfectly. The Pixel is inconsistent. It sometimes makes them dark AF like other reviews have shown and sometimes it completely takes away shadow making the whole image look flat and washed
@@gjna5143 Samsung uses over-saturated colors, far from natural look. Disaster.
@@BradleyPitts666 Ok, still looks better and more accurate than anything the Pixel puts out🤣
Awesomeeeeee video! Your videos are always top quality, amazing channel! Honestly I liked both, each is better in every other situation
Can you please make a comparison between the Pixel's HDR10 video recording and the Galaxy's HDR10+ one?
I’ll try and do a HDR comparison soon
@@LoverOfTech awesome!!
It's kinda hit and miss on both. Video Stabilization seems better on pixel facing sun video is way better on note22. Night video trash on both lol. Photos I'm surprised that note22 looked better in most cases. night tho it's 50/50 slight edge to pixel. I think we reached peak for phone cameras on all flagships right now decisive factor is personal preference then anything else. Mics sound louder on pixel but way cleaner on note22.
Great video and Ty. 👑
Pixel has gotten better, but the contrast from the back cameras is awful! I'd take either camera, really, but when put next to each other, the Samsung wins.
Great Review
3:43 Does the Pixel 7 Pro deal with sunlight worse than the S22U, or was the lens possibly a bit dirty? That's a quite a bit of haziness on the Pixel, and I haven't seen something like this on other Pixel videos yet.
Lens was clean
which of them would you choose for video Ben ? 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Good to know that Pixel 7 Pro joined the party but is still behind S22 Ultra - not that much tho. Gratz for Samsung which still is holding the crown, especially that S22 Ultra is few months old now. Pixel 7 Pro is better value for money for sure, but not a better camera phone.
P7P seems to have a realistic color, I can see that by your skin tone, Samsung got u whiter, I did prefer the P7P but in videos, I also noticed that is a little bit blurred because of the daylight here at 2:42
Hi bro liked and subscribed just let me know does pixel 7 pro supports pro mode camera like samsung like adjusting shutter speed , focus peeking and spot metering etc
Pixel does not support Pro or Manual Mode. It does shoot RAW
If you can upload that photo to google drive , that is better for select which one is best
IT'S TIME FOR THE VIEWSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Best camera comparison 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
s22 king🛐💯
oh man... the king is back
The Quality of his videos 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Wow! Aas always
Perfect bro, perfect
Samsung galaxy s22 ultra super bien fait 👍👍👏👏❤🔥
Whew the s22U is blazing this year
s22 ultra hands down won this.
@@ozzzy3z946 yup! i didn't see anything that impressed me unlike the iphone 14 pro max which was really impressive and im an android user.
when comparing zoom you put Pixel at a disadvantage when zooming by a different amount. You should've compared 1x to 1x, 2x to 2x, 3x to 3x, 5x, 10x and max 30x to samsung's 30x. From other comparisons I've seen, samsung just doesn't improve a cropped in photo, there's no software to upscale or sharpen the image. Can you compare them again, but more fairly this time?
Thank you for this video. It convinced my to buy the Pixel 7 Pro which I just purchased :)
9:11 The cinematic blur of the pixel looks so fake.
S22 Ultra's & iPhone 14Pro's Cinematic blur looks way better and natural.
Plus Better edge detection on both S22 Ultra & iPhone 14Pro.
S22 ultra 🔥 Samsung Kung
I ordered the Pixel 7 (normal one) but overall I think S22U photos are better.
P7Pro low light selfie pics without night mode or front flash is terrible.
my Pixel 6 (normal one) consistently take better pictures than my S22 ultra, except for anything beyond 3x zoom.
I'll be making the same comparison shortly 👍👌😁
Awesome
Thanks
Just wait for some software updates in Google pixel 7 pro 's camera
Have you installed latest oct.update on s22 ultra before comparing it with pixel?
Yep
Pixel has definitely improved but no where closed to S22 Ultra when it's about taking Natural Photos & Videos.
S22 Ultra isn't even the latest.
Upcoming S23 Ultra will destroy the competition.
Pixel is not bad at all, great job done on your part...just keep it up 🙂
this was a master class!
My bro ✊🏿
Great video comparison! My OnePlus 9 pro can shoot in 8k 30fps, but we(my wife and I) will be upgrading to the pixel 7 pro for the cameras and the tensor AI learning
i know what I'm supposed to be commenting on, but fam your a-roll footage is immaculate
Appreciate you my bro🙌🏿🙌🏿
This video helped me to make my decision not to buy the S22 Ultra but Pixel 7 Pro instead based on video and low light.
geting confused on pixel 7 pro video quality, some comparision videos shows its pure rubish but then others shows its doing very well
s22u wins.
Both have great cameras but Samsung is on top as always ❤️
is there auto focus on the front facing camera of the Pixel 7 phones? some people say yes and some say no, not sure what to believe.
Not from what we have been told
@@LoverOfTech 👍🏾
Is the S22 Ultra exynos or Snapdragon? Considering this looks to be shot in UK, I'd think exynos but still
Yes Exynos
Pixel 7 looks like a step up from the S22 in terms of video quality. Can't wait for the comparison with the Iphone 14 Pro. Android is closing in on IOS in terms of video quality!
Wait, what!?🤣🤣🤣 It was completely washed out in day time. It was better in low light but that cause he probably didn't switch on low frame rate. Day time the S22 Ultra was miles better in video
@@gjna5143 colors may be better. That can be fixed easily. I was looking at the clarity of the video. Didn't know about the S22 having a low frame rate setting for video. Do you know what frame rate that is? 24fps? Going from 30 to 24fps usually isn't a huge difference but going from 60fps to 30 or 24 would definitely be better in lowlight.
@@timbrowntown Open the video in the camera app and tap on settings top left. First option at the top is 'Auto fps'
It lowers the frame rate automatically in low light to vastly improve the quality. Also, FHD is much better for low light as it is able to capture more light
@@timbrowntown I shoot video in HD 60 FPS at night with auto fps on and it is really crisp footage
@@gjna5143 unfortunately neither can match the iPhone when it comes to video. I just find the iPhone boring and the ecosystem nauseating. I like the lack of bloatware refreshing on the Pixel and the video features on the Samsung. So I bought a Sony ZV-E10 to take care of the video deficits on my Pixel 6 Pro. Otherwise I've had no complaints about it. Just the video quality and features. I love the Samsung's ability to switch back and forth to the selfie camera during recording.
I'm happy with Google I have the pixel 6 pro but I will switch to the pixel 7 pro 🥳🥳
A rather mixed result but both are pretty good.
Please do GP7P camera vs iP14P vs SZF4
Samsung needs to improve their software and camera (especially video).
Samsung Note20 ultra no longer can focus in 1x reliably. Time to get the pixel 7 pro!
I think the Pixel is an all-around better phone but there is no beating the physical cameras on the Samsung. The Pixel has better colors, contrast, and dynamic range (either due to better sensors or better software/rendering) but the Samsung has better overall image quality/resolving power across the zoom ranges because of its dedicated optics. You can especially tell when at the 10x zoom where the Samsung's IQ is very clear and the Pixel's resolution becomes blurry.
This is what I like about Samsung, eventhough in auto mode they don't produce the best results, because of the level of hardware they give you with all the different cameras, you can tinker with it and proceed some unmatched results.
Nice pixel is really getting better
Yo pixel Is great but that s22 ultra is still a solid beast, s22 ultra looks like it's still getting better with these updates
I don't like the over saturated S22 Ultra. Natural ftw!
