I absolutely love the fact that you did the first camera comparison with the Pixel 7 vs the S22U instead of the iPhone. I still really want to see the Pixel 7 vs the iPhone but this was very very smart to put the two top Android phones together first. I definitely tip my hat to you. Outstanding work.

Seemless camera recording was nailed on my Huawei mate 20 pro some 4 plus years ago.
Personally I think the pixel 7pro, Samsung s22 ultra and iPhone 14 Pro are all very close in terms of cameras and for most of us it will just come down to personal preference rather than one having a significant advantage over the others

All of this is wonderful but with the phones being so equal in so many ways the zoom is what always captures me. Once I play with the zoom on the Ultras the zoom on the pixel or the iPhone leaves me wanting more. And of course unless you compare photos side by side no one will know the difference in the ultra, S21 which I own, does such a great job I don't really need a minor Improvement. Now if the pixel would come out with at least a 50x zoom then maybe we could talk. Once more and excellent and Well Done video. You have a friend in Columbus Ohio!

From other comparisons I've seen, samsung just doesn't improve a cropped in photo, there's no software to upscale or sharpen the image. Can you compare them again, but more fairly this time?

Is the S22 Ultra exynos or Snapdragon? Considering this looks to be shot in UK, I'd think exynos but still

Pixel 7 looks like a step up from the S22 in terms of video quality. Can't wait for the comparison with the Iphone 14 Pro. Android is closing in on IOS in terms of video quality!

Wait, what!?🤣🤣🤣 It was completely washed out in day time. It was better in low light but that cause he probably didn't switch on low frame rate. Day time the S22 Ultra was miles better in video

@@gjna5143 colors may be better. That can be fixed easily. I was looking at the clarity of the video. Didn't know about the S22 having a low frame rate setting for video. Do you know what frame rate that is? 24fps? Going from 30 to 24fps usually isn't a huge difference but going from 60fps to 30 or 24 would definitely be better in lowlight.

@@timbrowntown Open the video in the camera app and tap on settings top left. First option at the top is 'Auto fps'
It lowers the frame rate automatically in low light to vastly improve the quality. Also, FHD is much better for low light as it is able to capture more light

@@gjna5143 unfortunately neither can match the iPhone when it comes to video. I just find the iPhone boring and the ecosystem nauseating. I like the lack of bloatware refreshing on the Pixel and the video features on the Samsung. So I bought a Sony ZV-E10 to take care of the video deficits on my Pixel 6 Pro. Otherwise I've had no complaints about it. Just the video quality and features. I love the Samsung's ability to switch back and forth to the selfie camera during recording.

I think the Pixel is an all-around better phone but there is no beating the physical cameras on the Samsung. The Pixel has better colors, contrast, and dynamic range (either due to better sensors or better software/rendering) but the Samsung has better overall image quality/resolving power across the zoom ranges because of its dedicated optics. You can especially tell when at the 10x zoom where the Samsung's IQ is very clear and the Pixel's resolution becomes blurry.

This is what I like about Samsung, eventhough in auto mode they don't produce the best results, because of the level of hardware they give you with all the different cameras, you can tinker with it and proceed some unmatched results.
