I think the important thing to take away here is that Fruit didn't just eco for 50 min. He had a 13 min nuclear bomber, had a lot of fighters and produced many marauders/razorbacks before the 25 min mark. If he had just ecoed there the blue would very likely have lost.
Side thought, in order to kill the juggernauts faster than they were being built it would have taken 7 fully operational RagnaroksCalamities. THAT is beyond all reason.
It bothers me how inefficient was the route the jugs had to walk from the factory :D at this point it might be worth to reclaim some of the afus of green above him to get a clear path
I was curious the other day about buildpower/metal efficieny of constructors. T1 air for Core is less efficient than their seaplane constructors oddly enough. For Arm though the T1 air is more efficient. Since it only takes about a few build turrets to pop one seaplane per second you can easily just build a seaplane lab and spit them out wholesale for extra BP/metal.
One of my favorites you might also enjoy is from an episode of Dr who describing creatures that send you back in time and wait for you to die of natural causes prompting the sentence "they send you back in time to just live your life to death"
30:14 best thing i found to do with mines is make 2-3 rows of mines that overlay each other with there radius then turn them off then lay a row that covers them and leave them on when they push up to that row they all chain react takeing out the whole army 1:09:58 and this is why jugs suck he could have built 3 exp gantrys and spamed catapults with 3-4 jugs up front and got more value 1:13:25 easy solution to jugs is just 30 or so snipers + ticks or 3 pinpointers yes you have to micro them snipers to not waste shots on spam but thats easy and saves your ass
I love your content man please keep these vids coming. Also, have you considered doing some instructive build videos like Drongo use to do? Your commentary is already very instructive, of course, but some how-to strategies covered live during your gameplay could be sick!
I'll look into do that some more. Some of the older videos I have are tutorials and such but they are getting...well... Old! They could use a revamp :)
Do you have the link for the replay or the replay itself, would like to see fruits build order at the start, but i couldn't find the replay on the BAR page.
Usually I get rid of my replays almost daily so I don't have this one. Usually I just recommend filtering by name and map but if that didn't work that's concerning. Sorry this wasn't more useful but hopefully it's just a server issue or something that gets resolved
1435: 'Look at minimap for interesting things'. Back in the old days of BAR (When it was just "Spring"), along with FAF/Total Annihilation, could have the minimap displaying full-screen on second monitor [and able to issue orders etc]. Something else that Windows Vista killed (along with Hardware Accelerated Audio). Required both screens to be a single output, as far the game saw it). Could tell sooo much easiler what was happening, could get a better idea from that, for spectating than the actual game 😀
1 juggernaut per second with just afus and energy converters would be 768 AFUS and 2815 advanced energy converters. that would take up an entire 1v1 map
What's really mind-boggling. Even if they somehow managed to destroy Fruits Eco, you would still have to suffer from the Juggs for another 5-6min or so. While he wasn't only eccoing for 50min, he put down the nuclear bomber and the marauders. I wonder if he could have ended the game sooner with a proper win condition. And red had really great moves but they lacked a follow-up to do serious damage to the economy of Blue. Because that Juggernaut production was a team effort. It would have stalled if it was only Fruits eco.
Impressive, but he could have shortened it by building a gantry closer to front. It's not like he was lacking buildpower or metal to build more gantries LOL. Also perhaps more strategic and tactical thought could convert superior eco into a win earlier. Imagine 500 metal/s put into tumbleweed. Wipe out southern sea with bombs and t3 hovertanks. Without sea protection four positions are exposed to attacks.
@@ChiefScreeno that's great to hear! Its free, nowadays there's tons of friendly folks online, and I've got more content than ever to get you started (shameless plug acknowledged hehe) so it really is a great time to join up commander :P

It might've been too little too late, but Orange's heroics with that D-Gun holding off the Jug tide was inspiring
"look at the tide of jugs coming"
-were gonna need more d-guns
-how many?
-yes
"let me check..."
"Well?!?"
"...36... And counting..."
"Is 34 a lot?"
"Depends on what it is, shurikens... no... Juggernaughts yes."
I think we should formally petition a group of Juggernauts to be called a 'rumbling',
I really would like to see a game where instead of spamming jugg they would swarm the enemy team in decoy commander
You've got a future that's bright ahead of you
Literally a strategy that worked super well for me if combined with the reclaim spiders 🤌🏻
SEND DUDES!
Juggernaut about to blow up the enemy base, 5% HP, BWG zooms out and starts looking at rez bots lol at 1:03:40
lmao called out!
It bothers me how inefficient was the route the jugs had to walk from the factory :D at this point it might be worth to reclaim some of the afus of green above him to get a clear path
Hahaha yeah good point not that it mattered much at 50 minutes into the game tho! XD that's be a funny call-out, "eating your afus to make a pathway"
Indeed. But thats just to get the initial units in. After that it doesn't matter as there is new Jug on the front every 10 seconds :o
Or just build a factory closer to the front and interrupted production for 10 seconds... to save 2 minutes of walking.

"... this is nuts". Not just nuts, but juggerNauts
juggle ma nuts
That is a very extraordinary tick spam
That oj killed like 7-8 jugs with his comm. Whan an oj :D

That Krogoth spam at the end!
Ive been searching for an alternative to harpooning for hours! This method is amazing!!!
this was glorious.
I'm just thinking about all the nukes he could have spammed
I would have an impossible time playing this game. It's so fun to watch though, this is the dream of wargamers everywhere!
I agree! And I see your point, it can be overwhelming in these crazy late game situations
That eco was insane!
This map is a near copy of a Supreme Commander map called Seton's Clutch
Yes!
Good to see your subs and views going up, BW :)
Aww thank you mate! I feel the love every day. It's super exciting because it means more and more people are interested in the game!
why? would it help to watch?
In situations with infinite economy, would infinite nuke spams be better than infinite jug spams ?
Immovable object or unstoppable force

Such a great game! 🙌🏾🔥💜

@@BrightWorksTV Maybe it was older and gets deleted at some point? Thanks anyway.
If I try to play a game like that my computer would melt 😂
What Specs?
@noefeah89 still have an old gen i5 2500 in it. Planning to upgrade as it's holding back my 1070ti
Wish you would keep the thors and jug battle alot longer, that was god damn epic.
Torpedo seaplane gunships do a good job against bedbug spam
So far they're one of the only things I've found that can sort of hold them back... Until they blow up the seaplane lab...
I did a match where it was me with a 20% bonus vs 3 of my friends on the long ocean map.
I committed the rumbling on them with 50+ juggernauts
I wonder for how many BAR players / percentage this is not a Juggernaut rather than a Krogoth?
I think Markivs is thinking it should be Mark 4's. He should change his name to MarkIS which would be Mark69
We had a game today where fruit got jugs out every 5 seconds
My god...

great game to come back to watch
t1 spam and flow is useful, they're diverting high damage shoot on themselves, artillery etc.

heeeey a game where I was on the winning team lol!
Hahaha thanks for the submission btw XD
Persimmon is nice. But I've been growing some finger limes this year and that's been great.
That sounds delicious!
1:05:49 and it look like no one ever made this much economy ever.
that ecom build by fruit was insane
what happens if a commander dies? do you lose? can they revive from team mates?
You're not out until ALL the commanders on your team are dead. You can usually res them due to high hp and immunity to the D Gun.
How do you eat up lots of buildings?
SHIFT + click each one individually seems very inefficient.
Yeah don't do it that way XD the key combo is Ctrl+hover over building type+hold left click and drag
@@BrightWorksTV
Thanks.
is there a way to get the ingame replay for this match?
"hovercraft float by" probably a hover by, boats float :D
hovers gonna hover, boats gonna boat
Is it possible to EMP the juggs?
Oh lawd I clicked that play button so fast
XD

nice video keepit up bro
Can you share the game recording/playback?
This one's a bit too old so I don't have it still but it might be archived on the bar website if you'd like to do a little digging :)
@@BrightWorksTV thanks!
I wanna see how blue got that T2 lab under 4 mins tbh

Really impressive
why is it tagged as starcraft?
RUclips doesn't know about BAR yet I'm afraid
I'm a fan of the orange
I don't know what it is, I only get audio popping and artifacts on your vids. Might just be me though. Does it happen to anyone else?
I noticed it sometimes too but for the life of me I can't figure out what is causing it.
well good to know I'm not crazy at least@@BrightWorksTV
some dawn of war ultimate apocalypse bullshit right here.
on another note, get these devs to make a Tallarn game. The juggernauts are like Warlord Titans, just imagine.
lol cannon should destroy Fruit eco, but zero reco here
insane...
I would have loved to see a wall of 15 juggs walking together.
Hahahaha that's a movable wall right there
juggernaut? is that krogoth? why did they have to rename every unit ;(
Funny enough if you look at the detailed view of the juggernauts attacks it's aoe damage effect from stepping is called a krog stomp XD
Is this star craft?
Haha no silly RUclips gets confused sometimes. This here is Beyond All Reason or BAR for short

What is the benefit running this over Supreme Commander. Seems like an exact copy.
open source, free, better community and better game (imo)

I really love SupCom, but it's always been held back by utilizing only CPU core, while BAR uses multiple cores no problem.
Supreme Commander is 13 years old game and fields 10x more units than this easy.
Lmao get out, hater
I don't play supreme Commander but I'm sure "number of units" isn't really what would keep me interested if I did
As big and strong as they are, I can't see myself sending Juggernauts without Catapult support.
Behemooth + catapult > jug + catapult
Why IS catpult support important for Juggernauts?
@@malikben930 for the range AOE.
And at this m/sec printing a few catapults would probably only take seconds at most!
@malikben930 to clear the sniper / starlight spam
